The little Kuhna swallowed. What had the Slynx said to him? Without fear and excitement life would be boring? How could he tell? He still was a kid of some kind, almost a teenager so to say. The only excitement in his life so far was to collect rare plants and his studies.

During the last few hours he had completely forgotten why the Slynx was inside the Cathedral. He had just enjoyed the time with his new......friend? He looked at the valiant feline. Was it possible that he had found a friend? On his own? The only friends he had so far were the other inhabitants of the castle, and he wasn't really sure if he could call them friends. But there was one thing he was sure of, he liked the Slynx and he had fun exploring the Cathedral.

"Well.....erm.....I don't know if life would be boring without fear and excitement like this! I'm much younger then you may think!"

Cir'nuah chuckled as he heard the reply from Shin.
'Well, and I'm definately not as old as you might have thought. In fact, I highly doubt I'm that much older than you are.'
Lost in thoughts, the Slynx faced an enlightened part of the stony wall and traced one of the joints, nearly completely covered in dust, with a claw. As this produced a screeching sound, he winced and came back to his mind.
'Anyway, age is trivial compared to maturity. I grew up with stuff like that, you know, permanent danger of starving or being eaten.
For me, hunting, or avoiding being hunted, is pretty much routine.'
'Though, I have to admit, I never really liked it...'
'If you live like this, constantly in fear, you'll get used to it. And an occasional adrenalin rush won't hurt anyone, as long as you can avoid combat.'
Cir'nuah got up to is feet.
'Well, shall we go on?'

Shin winced because of the screeching sound Cir'nuah made with his claws at the wall. He was relieved that the Slynx suddenly stopped tracing the dusty wall.  

"The only excitement in my life is to gather rare plants and my studies!" Shin responded to Cir'nuah's deliberations, then he shrugged "I guess it's worth a try!" he said, standing right next to Cir'nuah. "Ok, if you like we can go and hunt this......thing!"
Shin tried to ignore the fact that he had absolutely no idea what kind of creature they were going to hunt, and he was sure that also Cir'nuah hadn't the slightest idea.
