He heard her pawsteps coming closer. Unable to help himself, he looked up, wanting to see her one last time before she walked away. The Fellox took in every feature, everything about her that he so loved. Seeing her walk away, he wanted nothing more than to run after her, make her stop, tell her to come back, that they could be happy together. But he just wasn't sure what to do anymore. Everywhere he turned, it merely seemed to cause more pain for both of them. If she could not love him, then why was he still here? Surely, wouldn't it just be better for him to let her go away, to never see her again? "Goodbye," he said quietly, looking away, unable to bear watching her leave any longer.
