He heard her pawsteps coming closer. Unable to help himself, he looked up, wanting to see her one last time before she walked away. The Fellox took in every feature, everything about her that he so loved. Seeing her walk away, he wanted nothing more than to run after her, make her stop, tell her to come back, that they could be happy together. But he just wasn't sure what to do anymore. Everywhere he turned, it merely seemed to cause more pain for both of them. If she could not love him, then why was he still here? Surely, wouldn't it just be better for him to let her go away, to never see her again? "Goodbye," he said quietly, looking away, unable to bear watching her leave any longer.

She moved without looking back. Not willing to risk it. Her tails flicked, the markings upon them glinting slightly before dying down, what light was left to her power. Doubt. Rather she looked back or not, she knew she wouldn't allow herself to forget Sev, no matter how much she wanted to. May or may not run into him, this was just how it was going to have to be. Nothing more to say, she faded into the darkness of the cathedral. Vanished from sight. Future fate unknown, to herself and the Fellox alike. She wouldn't be leaving home now...not for a long time, not managing to bare public locations. She would just stay...with her grown children...her young grandchildren. It'd be better the wallowing, better for making herself forget what she was forced to remember here.

She was gone.. where to, he didn't know. Breathing out a long, deep sigh, Severino stared at the ground. He couldn't go back to the pen just now. No... that would only make the pain worse. He decided that the best thing to do would be to go help someone who was in need of him. Raising his snout, and closing his eyes, he opened his mind, searching for any minds in distress. After sifting through a few, each of which he rejected due to their similarity to his current situation, he decided to go help a young male who was being mugged by some other pets. Opening his eyes, he summoned forth a great wind, and then, in a blur of red, was gone. But he could never forget what had transpired here. It would be forever branded into his memory, and he could never love another, so long as Akaona lived.
