[Remedy]

Akiha was really excited.  She normally didn't get a lot of breaks, but this time, Chris gave her two days off!  She decided to spend her vacation in a place that, in her mind, wasn't as hectic as the Forest that she had been to before.  She would go exploring the Lya Pointa Ruins today!

[Remedy]

Akiha hoped to find something interesting while she was here.  She had heard that here were supposed to be cool creatures around here, so she decided she might want to look for one of those!  What were they called... A Mekka?

Akiha daydreamed about being the hero and bringing back a rare Mekka as she skipped into the Cathedral.  It would be fun, being here, and she knew it.  She looked around at the crumbling walls and cracked floor.

[Remedy]

Akiha liked the place, even though it was quiet and eerie.  She looked all around, facinated by the crumbs of something once so grand.  "Wow..." she whispered.

[Remedy]

Akiha shuddered when her whisper echoed througout the place.  It bounced back at her from all sides, mixing togather like some sort of laugh.  "WoaWoaWoaWoaWoaWoaWoa..." she heard.

[Remedy]

Cool, Akiha thought.  She giggled, and listened as that came bouncing back, too.  "AhiAhiAhiAhiAhiAhiAhi..." she heard.

Akiha smiled but decided that she might scare away the Mekkas if she did that more.  So, she continued skipping along through crumbling halls.  She peeked around a chipped corner into another room.

Akiha stepped into the room and looked all around.  The walls were cracked and there was a big hole in one, and the ceiling had fallen through, revealing the morning daylight.  She climbed up the wall with the hole in it and peered through to another room.

[Remedy]

Akiha noticed some furnature in the next room over, so she jumped through the hole and floated gently down to the ground, using her body like a parachute.  She learned this trick while she was playing in the Forests.  She landed gently on the stone floor and stood up, looking around.

Akiha saw that there was an old rotting armchair in the corner of the room, and a table in another corner.  The armchair seemed to be ripped up and had fallen on it's side due to the fact that it was missing two legs.  The table was standing, at least, but it was in a slanted position, as it appeared that part of one leg had been torn off.

Akiha stared at the two pieces of furnature for a while in curiosity, then got bored and walked out the door down a hall.  At he end of the hall was a wooden door that was rotten and had holes all over it.  It only took the lightest touch from her for the door to fall flat, so she shrugged and walked over it into the next room.

Akiha looked around the new room. The floor had a large crack down the middle, wide and deep enough for her to fit in.  The ceiling was in tact for the most part, and the walls around were suprisingly intact except for a small mouse hole in one.  She waddled over to he mouse hole and peeked in.

[Remedy]

Akiha saw that the mouse hole was abandoned, and it lead right into another room.  She squeezed her way in and looked out of the other doorway before stepping into the room.  This room was completely destroyed; the walls were demolished, the ceiling had caved in, and in every direction you had access to another room- except the one she had come from, for larger creatures, at least.

Akiha slowly made her way over the pile of stones and bricks that had gone into the ceiling.  She decided to go left, since the room was bigger and it had a door leading to another hall.  She finally made her way over there and looked around this room.

Akiha noticed that this room actually had peeling paint.  That was new!  The paint was faded, but it had a reddish hint to it.  She waddled over and touched the wall, and a few flakes fell to the ground.
