Akiha stood staring at the peeling maroon paint for a while.  She daydreamed about what it had looked like before the place was left to crumble.  These ruins were beautiful... She wished she could have explored them at that time.

Akiha found another mousehole along the wall.  She coutiously stepped into it before going further.  Following it, she was lead into another room.  This room was very different than the others, though.  It was rather... large.  Very large, actually.

Akiha stared open-mouthed at the giant room before her.  It was enormous!  She decided that this was a worshiping place, since it seemed to be where all the halls connected.  There were also those large bench things like in churches, and at the opposite end of the room, there was a raised platform and a podium.

Akiha looked around all around, taking it in.  It felt so wierd in here, so eerie.  The floor was cold, and it was so quiet...  A shiver ran down her back as she took a step forward, and her tiny footstep echoed throughout the room.  She half wanted to turn back, but what if a Mekka was in here?

Akiha took another cautious step forward.  There seemed to be no one else here... But still.  She shrugged it off and waddle down a long isle in the center of the room,  stoping to peek down every row of banches just to be sure.

Akiha sometimes paused to stare in wonder at the benches lined up all down the room.  She could still see most of the elegant carving, though most had rotten off.  If there had been any cushions on them, though, they were long gone.  Even so, they seemed beautiful.  She could just imagine how they looked back when they were actually used... Oh, how Akiha wished she could have seen them then!

Akiha finally reached the end of the isle.  There seemed to be a little raised platform made of wood, but most of it had rotten away.  Akiha turned around and looked around the room that she had just walked through.

Akiha scrambled onto the raised platform sp she could see better.  Due to her height, all she could see were giant chairs and a crumbling ceiling. She climbed back down and decided to see if anything had been stored underneath the platform.

Akiha waddled under the low platform and looked around.  It wasn't very tall beneath it; the roof was just brushing her stem.  There were some books and a lot of dirt and dust, and dustbunnies were everywhere.

Akiha poked through little piles of dirt, just curious to see if anything were in them.  She reached in one and-oh my!  She brushed away a lot of the dirt and stuff from around the object she had touched.

When it was all cleared off, Akiha realized it was a ring!  It was very dirty and small, but she could see a little diamond in it.  What excitement she felt at her new discovery!

Akiha picked up the little ring with difficulty.  She placed it on her stem an took a step forward.  The extra weight made it hard for her to walk, but she felt proud and special wearing the jewelry.

[Remedy]

Akiha wobbled out from under the platform.  She tripped and fell flat on her face, and the little ring skittered a few inches away.  She immeadiately hopped up and looked it over to make sure it was fine.

Akiha polished the little ring with her foot, but it didn't seem to be doing much.  She took a piece of cloth that was on the ground beneath a bench and thoroughly polished the ring until it sparkled.  Then, she placed it gently back on her stem and wobbled through a door in the side of the room.

Akiha looked around the new room she was in.  It was completely empty and bare, but there was something interesting to it.  It had no damage whatsoever; the ceiling, walls, and floor were perfectly intact.
