Grindor rushed over and examined the chain. " This may hurt a little. " he said. He opened his jaws and took a giant bite out of the chains. He spat out the scrap and a freed tooth.

''Thank you!'' Gasped Cyber. He quickly pulled the chain off Mooch`s throat, allowing him to breath. ''You saved us.'' ''How can we ever thank you?'' He slumped on the ground, to shaken up to speak any more. ''They got us'''...
Mooch gasped, winded. "All of us"...

" The only thing you can do to thank me is to tell me who 'they ' are. " said Grindor. A new tooth had already grown in.  He had changed a lot. Before he would have left Kre and the two strangers to die. But now... He was different. He'd become... well, different. He had feelings. And strangely, he liked it. Not just himself, this whole adventure. He'd never felt so alive. And barely anyone had cared about him before........

"We don`t really know" Said Mooch."We, we were out exploring, and than we were grabbed". Just, grabbed!
And than we were here, chained up to a wall. "The only thing, said Cyber", "is I remember smelling a rotting scent. The scent of decay, of death." "We have been there for at least a few days, three at most."

What is your name? asked Mooch

" My name is Grindor. Decay? Strange...... The only thing that smells of death and decay around here would be the occasional corpse. It's surprisingly clean around here despite what the cowards who flee from this place say. It seems strange that you would smelll decay..... " he said. " No. No. What grabbed you, what chained you to the wall. It must be the lead spirit. Your lucky to have survived. That stench must have been the thousands of souls it has collected. "

"We can not thank you more, Grindor." "My name is Cyber. "This is my best friend, Mooch." "How do you know all of this?" "What is going on?" "Who is that?" He gestures to Kre with his tail. "Is she with you?"

Kre looked up from a daze she had been in. "Sorry. . ." she gasped and shook her head. "I'm Kre, or Kre-Kre if you's rather." she nodded and smiled.

"Nice to meet you," she said with a was of her own tail.

"Hi Kre-Kre." Cyber smiles at her. "Are you with Grindor?" "Do you travel together?"
Mooch sniffs her and than laughs "She`s all right!"
Cyber rolls his eyes. "He`s just playing around."

" We need to leave. Its not safe. " said Grindor. The bush behind him rustled and a scaly hand grabbed his leg. " What the hell!?!? " he yelped. A shape shifter! " You beast! You want dinner you gotta catch it! " he yelled from behind the bush. " I hope you choke and die ! " The bushes shook violentley and something screeched. " Your gonna pay for that you sack of putrid rot! " Another screech and a howl of pain. Grindor emerged, covered in scratches and blood. " Holy fu " he fell before he could finish the sentance. ( Dun dun dun. )

Kre looked over at Grindor. "What the hell?? Grindor!!!" she screeched, ignoring the other two, she rushed over to the bleeding Tavil. "Hey, stay awake. Stay with me Grindor. Don't leave me!" Kreative began to panic. Calm down Kre, she thought. She started to examine his body for serious wounds. Nothing fatal. . . it's probably just shock. Kre sighed in relief. She looked over at the other pets with a calm nod  then felt for a pulse. . .

Grindor came to surprisingly quick. " Kre, promise me I don't have to do that again. " he said weakly. " I think my arms broken. That son of a " Grindor swore. He managed to roll over onto his back and sit up.

I the shock of the moment, Cyber stood, terrified. But it was Mooch who rushed forward. "Here, let me help."
He helped Kre support the tavil between them. "Wish we had Mocha" said Mooch. "She could heal anything."
"Do you know anything about healing?" asked Cyber, who came up to help them with Grindor.

Kre helped Grindor up and nodded to him. "I promise, Grindor," she vowed. "you won't ever have to do that again." Kreative put her muzzle comfortingly on his head then turned to the other creature. "I do know some helpful herbs," she nodded and looked around. "I don't think they'll be found here, though." Kre sighed and looked around. Oh, help guide me!!! she prayed.

"Okay,since we don`t know anything, we will need some help." Cyber said. "Mooch, gather whatever berries and other plants are around here." Mooch ran off, just skimming the ground with his paws. He sniffed Grindor, carefully nudging him with his muzzle. "We will have to keep him protected, Kre."

" I can keep myself protected. " he said. Even though he was injured, he was still pretty stubborn. That was his best quality though.
