" Yes! Yes! I'm finally out of that wretched cage! " laughed Grindor. He scurried up a pillar. " Must feed. Yes, prey....... " he mumbled. He saw a small rat scurrying across the floor. He jumped down onto with his powerful legs and swallowed the rodent whole.

Kreative stepped out of the shadows and looked up at the stars as she made her way through the Cathedral. Why am I here, she asked herself, creeped out by the shadows and sounds of the night. She crept through a bush, trying to keep from being out in the open. Kre looked behind her as she emerged from a bush and collided with a Bleached Tavill as she stood. She let out a hoarse shriek and jumped back, rolling into the bushes.

Grindor felt the bump. He quickly turned in the dirrection it came from. " Huh? Who's there!? If your here to put me back in that wretched place, I'd like to see you try. "

[NatureGirl]

Kre peaked out from the bush and saw the Tavil talking to her. She tentatively stepped out and sat down, looking at the Tavil in confusion and concern. "I'm sorry for bumping into you..." she whispered. "I'm Kreative, but youmay call me Kre or Kre-Kre." She laughed quietly. "I'm not here to hurt you or take you back to a wretched place, either," she said. "I was here because I wandered away from home..."

Grindor snarled a little. He turned and scurried up another pillar. " You'd better leave, this place is dangerous. " he said.

[NatureGirl]

Kre looked at him and huffed. "I can take care of myself.... thanks..." she muttered and jumped up onto the pillar. She looked for a crack in the nice marble as she balanced herself. She had found one and smiled. She jumped and turned to face down towards the pillar and dove toward the crack. She flipped the last second and delivered a powerful kick to the marble. It broke off and tumbled down to the ground. Kre-Kre jumped down and landed next to the block, smiling. She looked up at the Tavil. "Told you," she muttered. She picked up the rock and stuck it in her puch for later.

" Fool. The spirits will find you. " said Grindor. " Nothing can stop the spirits. They will hunt you. They will find you. " he said. He looked around. On the wall, hundreds of black dots apeared. " Here they come. " he said. the dots merged into a large vaugley humanoid shape.

[NatureGirl]

Kre tilted her head at the strange creature as he blathered about spirits. She was about to stand and speak to him, but black dots formed everywhere. "What the hell?!" she asked, surprised, as she looked around frantically. She turned back to the Tavil. "What do you mean they will get me?!" She began to panic. She should have never come here!! Is this what 'caged' him?!?!?!?! she thought as she backed away from the wall. She didn't want to be caged. She had to get back to Nature!!!!

" If you value your life, run now before they reach full power. " he said. The shape began to emerge from the wall. Grindor climbed down the pillar. " Follow me if you want to live. Or, at least, want to keep your soul. " he said. He did a stange jump-walk ccombination down a hall way.

[NatureGirl]

Kre took one last look at the dots before she ran full speed down the hall way after the Tavil. She held back the urge to scream as she kept pace with him. She smiled down at him. "Thanks for helping me," she said as she padded after him. "Oh! I never caught your name," she said quietly as they rounded a corner.

" My name is Grindor. Do not give thanks. I should have left you and enlarged my chances of survival. " he said. He looked around the corner. " You must leave here now. " he said.

[NatureGirl]

Kre flinched at Grindor's comment. She looked at him, semi-hurt. She flattened her ears and looked at the ground. "I'm sorry, Grindor," she muttered to him. She was about to turn, but she looked at him. "If I stay with you, your survival chances will increase," she said. "There are indeed strength in numbers, my friend. And besides," she added. "The least I could do is get you out of here in one piece!" She smiled to him.

" Very well. But if you fall behind, I will not wait for you. " he said. He flicked his tail.

Kre smiled and nodded. She watched the ground as she padded next to Grimdor silently, a shadow ... a shadow of many colors... She was indeed a shadow guardian.

Grindor crouched behind a piece of rubbel. " Quiet. Predators are nearby. " he said. He formed a ball of Tavil energy and snuck quietly up behind a large dog. He jumped on it and forced the energy into its back, knocking it ou like a light. The dog fell limp and he hopped off.
