Grindor shifted awkwardky. " Why? Why not leave me and quicken your own travels? " he asked. He let go of th bush and stood on his own.

Kre looked at him with a confused smile. "You saved my life. Now I'm saving yours," she summed as she patted his back with her tail lightly. "Glad you're okay."

" Of course 'm okay.... I just had a...... supressed memory come back. " he said. " Is that creature still there? " he asked.

Kre shook her head gently. "It seemed to have buried itself underground. It's gone... I looked down the hole and it trailed away from here," she smiled. She hoped it would comfort him.

He stumbled a bit, but got his balance. " We need to either find it and take it down, leave now, or see if it will join us. Your choice. " he said.

"I don't trust it," Kreative muttered with a suppressed shudder. She had learned alot from Grindor in their short time together. Be cautious when strangers come into the picture.

" My energy manuever might not work on it. We may have to find a different way to defeat it if we must. " he said. " I'll channel dark aura into the energy ball.... that might work. " he said.

Kre-Kre nodded sharply. "What should I do?" she asked in a serious tone. She flicked her tail and shuffled her paws in anxiousness.

" Distract it. " he said. " I'll take it down fast enough for you to be undamaged. I may have use for you later on. " he said, forming a dark ball in his hands.

Kre nodded her head at him. She gulped and took a deep breath before padding out of the bush. "Hey, hey, look at me!" she called to where the Leumoo was, and started prancing around the tunnel while singing an annoying repetitive song she made up as she went along.

Red streaks appeared in the energy ball as Grindor held it. " Is it coming up? " he asked. ( Cmon Ashes! D8 )

Light came from around the corner, two figures emerged, bolting, from the blackness. They both had chains wrapped tightly around their necks and were panicking. They seemed to glow in the blackness.

Grinder turned. " Who are you!? " he yelped. He'd had enough surprises for one night. He spotted the chains around their necks. " Why are there chains on your necks? " he asked.

Kre jumped ten feet in the air when a blue light shined behind her. "Who are you and why are you in this haunted place?" she asked as she flicked her tail and settled into a defensive stance. She wasn't ready to trust anyone yet.
