She got him in the side! That was satisfying. But not enough to knock him other. Marion wheeled off to the side. "Yeah! I bet you're one of the fastest gems ever! Maybe it's even your Soul Tin too!" Of course, she was not in a position to be telling people the difference between Heart Gems and Soul Tins.

Suddenly, Luna's voice called out. "Oh! Good point!" Marion saw a low, crumbling wall, and tried to climb up it. If Speed was going to be tricky, she'd be tricky too! She leapt up the fallen bricks and moved herself into a more hard-to-reach position. At least Speed would probably have to slow down to get up to her!

Luna watched Marion climb up the wall. If this was going to be a battle of balance now, she had hardly any advice besides 'don't fall'. Marion's thinking was good, though, and Luna was interested to see how Speed would react to this change. However, if Marion's speciality were kicks, Luna feared Marion would be the one to fall first, simply because of that. Then again, Luna didn't know much about Kuhnas to begin with. Maybe they had really good balance?

She followed the fighters as good as she could, staying well out of range but making sure she still had a good spot to watch. The fight was interesting; it was more a battle of strategy than of force, which made it different from the battles Luna was used to. That thought in mind, she also kept watch; Marion and Speed seemed too absorbed into their fight and the cathedral was not a safe place to begin with. But the Fellox could feel no dark forces lurking right now and therefore concentrated on following the battle.

All this talk of gems and Soul Tins had really piqued his interest. Better not worry about that now, he thought, whirling around as Marion climbed up a wall. He would have to slow down a bit for this. Or perhaps... Maybe I could just get her off the ledge! he thought, a small smile tugging the corners of his mouth. Speed bunched his legs underneath him and scrambled up the wall. He didn't have the most amazing balance in the world, but he managed to hang on. He opened his mouth wide and let loose several rings of energy. This should make her head spin!

"Wha...?" For a second, Marion parsed the rings of energy as anyone from her world would. She thought it was a well-known attack from her land--Ultra-High Frequency; it was renowed for its ability to break through forcefields, but wasn't very strong. When it hit her, though, she began to reel. She fell off the wall with an imbalanced fwumph.

She was lucid enough to realize she was confused, but not enough to do anything about it. Her eyes saw a flash of white--Luna's tail--and for a moment she assumed it was Speed. She stumbled toward it with swiping claws.

Luna watched rather surprised when Marion fell, hoping the Kuhna hadn't hurt herself. Speed seemed to have more on his side than just his fast feet - Luna didn't know what he had just done, but it obviously had a rather big effect.

And then, Marion came suddenly towards her. For a moment, Luna thought the Kuhna had been injured after all and now wanted help since she didn't seem to hold up all that well right now or maybe it was just coincidence that she tried to get away from Speed in Luna's direction, but...
Luna's instincts flared up when Marion was close and she jumped to the side just in time, losing only a bit of tail-fur to the Kuhna's claws.

"Marion?!" Marion definitely wasn't one to just randomly involve others into a fight without a word. "Speed, what have you done to her?!" Luna went into a fighting stance, but didn't attack just yet. "Marion, can you hear me?" She was wary of her sudden opponent and kept her distance, hoping that Marion would recognize her and wouldn't need a serious blow to the head to regain her senses.

Oh. Well now. That was different. While most of his opponents merely became discombobulated and dizzy, this Kuhna showed a different effect. Speed winced as Marion swiped at Luna. "I-It was just supposed to confuse her! To knock her off the wall..." he said, frowning. The Fellox didn't appear to want to fight Marion, so he rushed over to divert the confused female's attention. "Hey, Marion, over here!" he shouted, dashing back and forth. Giving her a moving target would be challenging for the both of them, he figured.

Marion's head swam. She heard several voices and saw several blurs. Which was which? She tried to inwardly focus on her gems--maybe that didn't get messed up in this body like it did in her old one. She tried to utilize another claw swipe. But she felt the electricity crackling on her body, and suddenly flung herself--not quite of her own volution--toward Speed in tackle. Oh no! she realized fearfully. I'm trying to Stun him! That move's too strong for a not-serious fight!

She fell near what she assumed was him, but didn't know if she'd gotten him or not. She knew she hadn't hit him full-on, but she might have clipped him sideways and put one of his feet to sleep or something. The numbing sensation that accompanied a Stun wore off quickly, but she knew from experience that it was uncomfortable.

At first, Luna thought Marion had regained her senses when she turned to attack Speed again, but that seemingly wasn't the case when she saw the power of the attack launched. "Careful! Speed, are you alright?" She got herself out of Marion's range, just in case. "Speed, when does this strange spell wear off?"

Maybe they should join forces to hold Marion down until this was over? "Do you want to handle this alone or shall I help you? Maybe it's best we stop her from doing anything until she's clear in the head again? I don't want her to seriously harm us or even herself." Marion seemed at least to have stopped staggering, but Luna wasn't sure that the Kuhna was even in control of her own powers right now and she certainly didn't know enough about these gems to be sure that they couldn't be harmful to their owner.

Speed spun around to face Marion, and saw her coming toward him at a high speed. He let out a rather undignified squeak and tried to scramble away, but ended up getting one of his hind legs stunned. He gave a short shout of pain, then clenched his teeth. "Y-yeah, I'm fine," he said to Luna, wiggling his numb foot. He could walk on three legs, he figured. It couldn't be that hard. "Well..." Speed muttered, considering the situation. Oh, how he hated needing help from others. It made him look so... well, weak. And lame. Can't forget that. "I suppose it would be best if we both try to stop her."

Given the usual duration of confusion spells--both in Evelon and in her own world--Marion was starting to become lucid again. She started into doing another Stun bolt before realizing herself and pulling back. She vocalized angrily: "Arg!" She tried to make one more swipe at Speed, but fell. Her legs scraped against the ground in a very mundane way.

She wasted time getting to her feet, but her eyes made it clear--now, she was back to herself. Mostly. Her ears were still ringing.

After Speed agreed that stopping Marion together and Marion made another attempt to attack, Luna quickly dashed behind Marion, who had fallen down and was getting up. Speed seemed to have a numb leg, so Luna shoved herself between Marion and her target. She was about to pin the Kuhna down when she noticed that Marion seemed to be better now. Taking a step back, she decided to try again to communicate. "Marion. Do you hear me? If you won't snap out of it, we'll stop you now." Well, if she wouldn't snap out of it, talking would do little good, but at least she had tried.

Luna glanced at Speed. "Are you hurt or injured? My healing magic is almost nonexistant, but I suppose I could give it a try once Marion is okay again." She hated to embarrass herself since her magic was really weak and that just...wasn't a good thing for one of the highest-ranking subordinates to the Lord, but there was nothing Luna could do about it.
