Tori gazed up at the dark towers of the cathedral in nervousness. If one was looking for a god of darkness, what better place to come than the Lya Pointa Cathedral? The girl found the church after questioning some passersby in the nearby city of Aldrect, and when she did, she was met with strange stares, as if they were wordlessly asking why in the world she'd want to go to such an ominous spot.
She was here because she wanted her memories back. Tori had met a god of ice, Kylistern, who told her about another god, Ekal, who could potentially revive her memory. Although she was told Ekal wasn't all that bad, Tori still had to feel anxious, although it was probably more due to the setting than the thought of seeing a dark god.
Her metal wing-and-a-half tightened up in fear as she cautiously approached the door of the cathedral. They looked heavy but took surprisingly little effort to open. The innards of the building were just as scary as the outside. Tori took a deep breath and stepped into the dimly lit room, letting the doors shut behind her.
Ekal had gone to the Cathedral because Kylistern had told some female that he had the ability to restore memories. The only problem that he had with that was it had been coming up on his and Aila's anniversary, and he had been planning to take her on a cruise on the Freighlei Ocean. Now, however, this was going to have to wait. After all, when he'd mentioned it to Aila, the Lavamancer had given him quite the firm glare.
