She didn't want to be here, she didn't want to be headed towards a filthy, tumbledown cathedral. Nor did she want to be stuck with a deranged, still slightly grief stricken, scythe wielding kuhna that talked to crows all the time. To top everything off, she'd fallen in a puddle. Narcissa Noir, one of the last of the great and powerful Noirs, was covered in muddy puddle water. It was humiliating. The young ominous myu reaper took a great pride in her fur, and to have her hard work ruined was more than her temper could stand. Despite the fact a passing shower of rain had washed the worst of the mud away, Narcissa was fuming.
"Oh goody, I've always wanted to see dead grass and ruins. What fun." The myu spat as the two figures came up to the cathedral.
"I've been dragged up here against my will, only to almost drown in a puddle deeper than Davy Jones' locker and what do I get? Nothing. It's not like you care, oh no, you're just like; 'We have to get the the cathedral, Sissy. Because it's very important, and it doesn't matter if you, my darling daughter, almost gets killed on the way, so long as we get to the cathedral which I don't know anything about but it's dark and scary and awful, so it has to be important, because dark scary things are always so important!'" It was amusing that she managed to copy the kuhna's tone exactly.
Rexus sighed. He was an oddly coloured kuhna, with unnerving maroon eyes, with an expression seemed to be a mix of utter exasperation and melancholy
"I've never even said anything remotely similar to that, Narcissa. Besides, the puddle wasn't that deep." After a moment they stepped through the crumbling archways into Lya Point Cathedral. Suddenly it seemed that young Narcissa Noir, wasn't quite as brave as she had been moments before. When she did speak, her voice was hushed. It was odd, considering how interested she was in finding out about the dark art of Necromancy.
"Are you allright?" Rexus asked her, sounding somewhat awkward.
"Fine, it's just creepy in here. There could be spiders or something." As a general rule, she liked to avoid places that looked dangerous. Especially when they were as creepy as Lya Point.
"Nothing to fear from the dead, unless their bones are rotting away with a delightfully contagious disease." Of all the things to sound cheerful about, or more cheerful, anyway. Rexus was normally more sombre than a funeral dirge, and he didn't lighten up much even when he was cracking tasteless jokes.
"You're macabre." She paused for a moment.
"And that wasn't funny, either."From somewhere inside the cathedral, Rexus caught the sound of voices. His ears tilted backwards nervously and a paw rest on his scythe, which by some strange quirk of fate had miraculously appeared at his paws. He'd been sure he'd left the darned thing at home.
"Sissy-""Don't you dare call me that! I hate it!" "Narsissa, did you hear that? And if that that is a something, then us somethings are no longer nothings, and us somethings may actually end up as nothings if the thing that I heard was a something." He whispered hurriedly from behind a large piece of fallen sandstone. The unfortunate kuhna had a tendency to babble when he was nervous, it was useless to even attempt to understand him. Narcissa's yell had been loud enough to echo through the entire cathedral, it would be near impossible for anything not to have heard the shrill voice. So much for being discreet.
((Fail. x3; <33 And Narcissa does have a habit of rambling, yush. XP;))
