(Etzlij has come here from another roleplay in the Cathedral in search of a buddy. ^^ Other then RE2, I'd like for only one or two people to join. I don't like being crowded)

The elder kuhna stood uptop a crumbling bookcase. He looked at the ground below him. It was pathetic that the cathedral hadn't been kept better. Still, there were many interesting things to be found within it. First there had been that oddly colored female kuhna. Now he had heard of another sort of wicked being haunting these halls. Etzlij gave a small smirk. One of these creatures would make a fine companion...

She had left a cafe earlier because her companion had long since not been seen, and she was just trying to get out of here.  She didn't know where else to go... and then, there had been rumors of a new evil here.  A creature that was mostly mechanical, but that resembled a hyena.  She didn't want to find it; so why did she linger here?

Looking around, she caught the sigh of an Elder Kuhna.  He must be here for the same reasons as I, searching for someone... or something... she thought, taking a nimble step towards him, her head tilted curiously.

One moment he had been there, the next he had seemingly disappeared. In truth he had just darted behind the bookcase with great speed. After that he took to the shadows, eyes falling upon the female sulkuhna. Who was she and why was she there?

Etzlij had never been one to like it when others knew he was around. He always hid out in the shadows, playing games with their mind.

Alrisha wouldn't fall for such games, though.  She looked around again before saying, "I-is anyone out there?  I-I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I was hoping to find some company... especially with these new creatures about..." She moved slightly closer to the bookcase, wondering why she had dared to stay here anyways.  It was so dark... so evil... and now, dangerous.

Even though his body was white and his tails gave off a good bit of light, it seemed as though he could easily hide within the shadows. He studied this female for a few minutes. she was nothing special. She was definately not anything like the odd kuhna he had been talking to for a bit.

Etzlij began to walk about in the shadows, keeping an eye on this female and keeping an eye out for anything else that might lurk about.

Alrisha's ears perked as she nibmly stepped towards the bookcases.  "Listen, you... you better come out here now and tell me why you're here or I'll... I'll come in there after you!" She said, mustering up her courage.  She was going to find out who that Elder was, and she was going to find out what these new beasts were...

"Come out from where?" his voice filled the air all throughout the room like silk, seeming to come from no particular direction. "You must know where one is to come after them." She wasn't behind the bookcase, but instead just hidding deep within the shadows of the room. He used a telepathic link to talk for now, and that conserved his hidding place. "How do you plan on finding me?"

Alrisha whirled around before replying, "Just come out, wherever you are!" Her voice was somewhere between a paniced yowl and a calm request.  "If you'd rather know my name before coming out, I am Alrisha, daughter of Silk and Vitani." Turning around again, she said, "I don't know where any are, which is why I'm searching." Looking around warily, she said, "I... trust that you don't know where they are either?" She asked.

Vitani she said? A small smirk spread over Etzlij's maw. Oh how this would be fun. "Oh. How if your dear mother? I heard she had a bad run in with a group of lucain out in the slums." This was of coure false, for Vitani was safe at home, the same house that Etzlij lived in. "Poor girl. First she had to deal with Ronin and actually living, and now she's been attacked by those mutts."

Alrisha hissed angrily.  "She better be all right..." She said, her fur standing up on end as she said, "I wouldn't know if she was all right or not; I don't live with my parents or siblings anymore." She hoped to heaven that he was lying; she was going to be very upset if her mother actually had a bit of a run-in with a Lucain gang.

"Aww. Did mommy and daddy give up their little girl? You must have done something pretty bad." He had still yet to come out from the shadows. It seemed as though possibly he figured it was safe there? No... He was always in the shadows when others were around. He didn't like them seeing him. Still, he'd probably eventually show himself to her.

"NO!" Alrisha said, tear coming to her eyes.  "I was given to my trainer by my father's trainer as a gift..." She said, sitting down.  "I'll never believe that they didn't want me.  Nothing anyone can say will ever make me think that.  They loved me so much..." She said, her amethyst eyes wet with fresh tears.

"If he loved you, then why would he allow his owner to so easily give you up?" He could see the tears spilling forth from her pretty eyes. Oh how this brought great pleasure to him. "Vitani must love Satia. She's still sitting around with your mother, happy as a heartless kuhna can be." He let out a small chuckle. "Must be nice to be with one's parents."

"Shut up, you!" Alrisha cried, outraged; tears still flowing down her face.  "Lurker is a father enough to me; and he is jsut as caring as my real father is.  And I did not want to leave my Father, and even he was a little leery of letting me go.  It was only after my trainer promised to let us see one another again at some point that I agreed to go." She said, and then, turning, she asked, "What of my other Sulkuhna sibling?  Why do you only speak of Satia and not her?" Oh, how she wished one of Fire's Battlehearts would spring in out of nowhere and teach this mysterious Kuhna a lesson...

"Ah... That poor little lost one. She may have gone to a nice trainer, but she was forced away from Vitani." The elder kuhna stepped forth from the shadows, flaming tails flicking about. He was going to be leaving there soon, so might as well let her see him for a bit. "Vitani isn't quite mentally stable. You see, she's had to put up with the kuhna called Ronin. She's a survivor of his, and one that he visits often. Poor woman. She cried for days when that kit was taken from her."
