"I was planning to. Welcome to the game. Everyone here is a player." Abyss laughed. He knew it was cruel, but he also knew what was coming. Play it right and someone might just get out alive.

Abyss nodded his head slowly. Was leading this girl around safe? Abyss had a horrible sence of direction. He strode down the long corridor, but was soon interupted. Was that a scroll on the floor?

Abyss had said scrolls were the nicest of all things that would speak to her. Now, with her name written in red upon she wasn't so sure. She tore at the rope with her teeth and suddenly it fell open. What it said left her blushing. Hmmm....What did it mean?

Abyss tried to see what the scroll said, but it was too dark. He knew that only the reciever could read the writing, anyway. "What does it say? Oh, it isn't bad is it?

T'launya stared deeply into the scroll.You love him. You don't know him. Ask him. Red. "It's a riddle..." muttered T'launya. "What does the word red mean to you?"

Abyss blushed deeply. "I was born here. In a room called the red room. It's underneath the cathedral in all these tunnels. It's known only for it's horrors. I was one of them."

"Surely not," gasped T'launya. "You definately don't seem the type. You've only ever been good to me." T'launya suddenly qeustioned her faith in this shape-shifter, but quickly put it to the back of her mind.

"As you probably know, many people believe demons live down here. The red room being very haunted. What you don't know is animals are trained and told to scare and send messeges. I was born in the heart of this, but I broke away."

"So that scroll was sent by some evil messenger?" T'lanya gasped. She hated to think of all the evil creatures down here. "Oh, how can we fight back?" She suddenly felt like she had to help. Had to do "something."

"Not even the evil creatures know where the scrolls come from. Some, believe they fall from the ancient library upstairs. Now, to help we would need something to help. Maybe guide all that fall down, but how can we do that? We would need a map!

[amanda784]

"Well there's no possible way to get a map. There's too many tunnels. First we need to find a way out and I'm hungry. If I'm going to live here I want it to be comfortable living. I want my own room!"

Abyss laughed silently. This girl was a handful. She was beautiful, though. Uh, no! What was he saying? The great Abyss could not fall in love. Not with another creature, anyway.

T'launya walked on shuddering at every noise. "Is there a safe place? Somewhere we can go? A room? Anything? I need to clear my head."

"The only place I can find in here is the red room. That is far from safe. Anyone can find the red room. They just have to want it." Abys nodded.

T'launya saw an opening to the right. "What about there? We could stay in there. How do we eat? What is there to eat?"
