"Oh, that's good to know," Meeko said with a relieved smile. That was something he hadn't read in a book. It was good to get advice from Skull.

Meeko saw it too, although he didn't call out like Danger did. He could feel his heartbeat racing at the idea of actually meeting another spirit. "I saw it too," Meeko conceded, his eyes scanning the dim room.

"Do you see it, Mom?" asked Danger, who would have been bouncing up and down on her dad's shoulders if that was physically possible. Thankfully for them, it wasn't.

"No..." she said, squinting. "We should probably go closer to where you saw it." Grapeshot spread his wings for balance and began moving closer.

"Why was it so light-colored?" asked Danger.

"There are several reasons," replied Skull. "For one, it might simply be the spirit of a creature that had pale colors when it died. It might also be a weaker spirit," she continued. "Or simply an image-type spirit, which is more like a recording, and like a recording deteriorates over time."

Meeko listened to Skull explain things to Danger. While he had read some of those things, none of the others were in the books he'd read. "Wow, you sure know a lot about spirits," he commented to Skull with a smile. "I wish I knew half as much as you do!" He exclaimed.

He followed the family closer to the spirit they had seen. He swallowed back his nerves and appeared as calm as possible. He didn't want the spirit to get nervous because of him.

Skull smiled again. "It's not anything big," she said, blushing. "When you grow up being able to see spirits, you naturally start to learn about them."

"It's coming here again!" exclaimed Danger.

"Approaching us?" asked Grapeshot, flaring out his wings.

"Hello..." said a whispery voice. Slowly, the pale shape of a white-furred Morloth began to materialize. "It has been so long since there was someone who could see me..."

((So sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've been busy with school and, well, life. XP Again, so sorry. :/))

Meeko grinned at Skull, "I hope I can learn as much as you know," he said with sincerity. It was very interesting to him to meet someone with such knowledge about the spirits. One day, he was sure he'd know more.

The lucain's eyes widened at the appearance of the morloth. As much as he wanted to see a spirit again, it did catch him off guard. He recovered as quickly as he could, turning a warm smile to the spirit. "Hello," he greeted her(him? it? Did spirits have genders?). "And it's good to see you! I'm Meeko," he continued to say with excitement. "This is Grapeshot, Skull and Danger," he continued with a nod in each of their directions.

"Meeko..." she whispered thoughtfully. "Skull...Danger...Grapeshot...no, you're not who I'm looking for." She began to turn away from them, beginning to fade. "I need to find them..."

"Wait!" yelped Danger. "Maybe we can help you find who you're looking for! Can't we?"

"I have always searched alone."

"Because no one could see you!" exclaimed Skull. Grapeshot looked confused.

"I can't see the ghost," he whispered.

"It's a Morloth girl. Poor thing, she appears to have been waiting for so long..." his mate replied. Out loud, she continued. "But now we can see you, so we can help you! Can't we? Um...if you're okay with it," she added to Meeko.

If Danger hadn't stopped the Morloth when she had, Meeko definitely would have. He couldn't stand to see her look so disappointed!

"Yes yes, of course we can help!" He exclaimed. "Just tell us who it is you're looking for," he went on to say. He watched the Morloth carefully, hoping she would decide to let them help her. Even in the realm he was from he couldn't stand to see someone in need, and this one was no different. He had to help her find 'them', whoever them was.

[*bangs head against wall* I completely forgot about this. Sorry.]

"My...family," she said slowly. "But...not Mom or Dad. They...were...the wrong family. I cannot find my...real family."

"The wrong family?" asked Danger, clearly confused. "What does that mean?"

"It means she was adopted. Weren't you, dear?" Skull's voice had taken on a very motherly tone.

"No...I was never adopted," she continued. "But...my sisters...I had sisters...and brothers...I need to find them."

"Oh...oh, you poor dear." Skull leaned forward, trying to nuzzle the ghost, but she backed away from her. The Myu Reaper frowned, then leaned back again.

"Maybe they're not here!" exclaimed Danger. "That's why you keep not finding them!"

"But...I can't leave..."

Grapeshot looked completely lost.

"You're family?" Meeko echoed with a quizzical expression. Little of what the ghost was saying made much sense to Meeko, but he was trying to comprehend it. But then an idea dawned on him...

"We can leave!" He exclaimed suddenly with a smile. "You could tell us what they look like, or where you saw them last, and we can look for them," he rushed on excitedly. He shot a hopeful glance toward Skull. He really had no idea if it would work, but it he had to try.

"You...would? You are...good..." The Morloth's figure seemed to be more solid now, as if the happiness at hearing about her family had caused her life to begin returning.

"When did you last see them?" asked Skull, sounding urgent.

"When...when that was not yet broken. When that hole...was smaller." She gestured to several shatterd pillars and gaping holes in the floor. Skull skipped over to one of the pillars, while Grapeshot glided over to one of the holes. They both inspected their finds, then returned to Meeko's side.

"This is...worrying. From what I can tell, her family may already be dead," whispered Skull. Out loud, she said, "Don't worry. We'll do our best to find your family for you. Can you tell us your name, so they will know that we found you?"

There was a very long pause, before the ghost spoke at last.

"Althea..."

Meeko glanced over at the whole, and wondered how long ago it had been bigger. Stone took a long time to fall apart, right? Meeko nodded in agreement with Skull. What if they were dead? Would it be possible to reunite them?

"That's a pretty name," he told the morloth with a smile. But he looked worriedly at Skull. "What are we going to do?" He said in a barely audible whisper. He didn't want Althea to think they couldn't help her.

"It is alright. It sounds like they were close, so her family may still be somewhere as ghosts as well." In a louder voice, Skull continued. "Do you remember where you lived?" she asked. Althea frowned.

"A garden...a small home...warm, always warm...full of laughter..." Her voice got quieter and quieter, as if she was quite unsure of herself. Suddenly, Danger jumped off her father's back, dashing over and trying to take one of her wings in her gloved paws.

"That sounds like a nice place! You miss it a lot, right! I'm so sorry you're so far from home!" she said. Althea seemed to strengthen again.

"I can show you...I think." She began to glow, and a faint image began to appear in front of her. It was a white house, surrounded by grass and flowers, with a path leading up to the door. A mailbox in front of it showed the number 141, as well as the vague name of a street. However, before it could become clearer, it vanished again.

"Sorry...tired..." whispered Althea, beginning to fade. "Rest..."

"Oh! That's no problem," agreed Skull. "Rest for now. We will come back when we have found your family." Because she had already decided that she was going to do so. There would be no argument about this fact.
