I was never like the others from home. I liked adventure, adrenaline, and I just wanted to run wild. Well I guess I got my wish... More than I asked for.
I was
human once. Had a nice home and family too. Ha! Okay you're right; that's way too fary tale to ever be true. I am like many. Born as a clone and lived as a clone durring my childhood. But I did have a family. Thier daughter died and instead of killing their daughters
spare parts they decided to raise me as their own. I could pass as a regular human because we were only ten years old when it happened. My mother's name was Kim and father was called David. They were both nice people and they really treated me like their own. Their deciesed daughter was named Nikole, but I shortened it into Niki through the years. The interesting thing is, Kim and David didn;t think of me as a replacement for their daughter, but rather they thought of me as their second daughter. From a clone's point of view, I was in heaven. But that all changed when I turned twelve.
There was another war. This one was called
World War Thirteen, Desecration. The name suited. Almost all of Tensen city was destroyed in the first attack. Only seventeen survivors in total, including myself and David... Kim wasn't so lucky. David lasted four years before he passed away. He had caught a disease from the toxins caused by the war. Within the following year, the war finally ended and I got thrown back into the system. Who knew, they treated parentless human kids the same as they treated clones. There went my heaven.
At seventeen years old I was able to sneek my way out of the camps. I still yearned for the wild I once experienced as a child. I had heard about an old forest locaded a few clicks inside the the boarder. Only problem was that it was in a restricted area. If you are seen you are shot on sight. Forests were almost completely extinct at this point so even seeing one would be worth it in my books. I did just that. Got over the boarder and snuck into the
Ret territtory. Thankfully I wasn't spotted. I spent hours in the forest, amazed at everything I saw. But then I saw IT...
Ruins! Ones unlike what I had ever seen before. They looked so... Magical! I ran throughout them so quickly that even the highest quality survalience would have had a hard time keeping up with me. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. And at the center of it all, I found a small grouping of stones each with their own unique symbol carved in it.
There were many different stones and symbols. Curious I picked them up and looked at them closely. They were beautifully designed, but none of the symbols were familiar to me. By the time I looked up- Everything had changed!
I held the stones tightly in my hands but what I saw around me was nolonger home. The ruins I had gone in had dissapeared and there were no cities or boarders in sight anywhere! Actually I wasn't even in a forest anylonger. I stood alone in an empty field. Darkness quickly covered and I looked into the sky to see two moons light up the dark sky into a blue glow. I got my wish.
