Marisilla

Mari padded through she dark streets. Her pelt seemed to glow neon in the lights coming through the slightly grimy windows. She grimaced as she stepped in a dirty puddle. Disgusting. Why did they have to meet in this filthy back alley? It wasn't like there would be anyone who would recognize them, or understand what they were discussing... Mari would give Sefiria such a ding on the head...

She stopped at the end of the alley and sat down, curling her tails around her legs. A drop of dirty water fell from a gutter and hit her on the nose. Mari sneezed and wiped a paw across the spot. Yes... Her partner would certainly be feeling some pain...

Well it wasn't her fault.

It wasn't like Lambastia was usually this dirty and ucky. At least, it wasn't the last time she was there.

Sefiria's second personality was in control now; the first had shrunk back at the thought of meeting Mari and besides, the second was the one that was familiar with these types of surroundings.

"Marisilla." Her voice rang out clearly against the grime as she approached the other. Spots of color fled her jaws as she spoke, tainting the air before her for a few moments. Almost a rainbow. But not quite. "You seem angered."

Well duh. Her first personality would be angry too if she were dragged all the way here to meet.

Sefiria wasn't aware her first personality and Marisilla were so much alike. Then again, her first personality would never even know Mari, for whenever she showed up, this second one took over. It was quite complicated, really, to make sure to end up in the same place for when the first woke up.

She wasn't quite sure the first was aware of her existence. She probably thought she just had memory loss.

Anyways. After a pause. "You look disgusting. Why are you out here? It is so much more clean and warm inside the cathedral." Again with the rainbow.

Mari's eyes narrowed. "Oh no.... I'm not angry... I'm bloody livid! I thought that we had agreed to meet here. Remember? To escape notice?" she got up and stalked over to Sefiria. She bonked the other female on the back of her head, not enough to cause damage, but enough to get her point across. "And can't you do something about that rainbow thing? Thats hardly something people of our caliber do." she added. The opposite in fact...

A light laugh escaped the more feminine of the two, bringing with it more color. "Dearie, wherever we meet, it is entirely your decision. By now you should know that I will agree to wherever you decide to go."

She put on a thoughtful face, looking up and to the left, and even bringing up a paw to her chin as an addition to her thought-pose. "And, hmmm, you know, I do not believe I can do anything about this rainbow thing. Or the sparkles. One would think I would have done something by now if I knew how, mm?" She gave a wink and stuck her tongue out a bit, turning away from the obviously more angry of the two and trotting a few steps towards the cathedral.

"I do think it does well for my camouflage, though. Those in... Our profession... Typically do not exhale rainbows. Now, are you coming? It is ever so much nicer inside." She looked back, and her eyes flashed for a moment, narrowing for just a fraction of a second into the eyes that Mari knew so much better. The eyes of a cold-blooded killer. Mari knew she meant business.

Maybe not briefcase business.

But their business.

Marisilla padded after her partner. It might be a good camouflage, but it was so silly. Mari dreaded being seen by one of her other associates when in Sefiria's company. But that wasn't likely today. This was a more personal visit to this place. A rare event. Mari made a point of not being social, it always ended up causing trouble. Well... Trouble for her, and possibly Sefiria. They themselves were the cause of trouble for many people. Often it was the gift of a business rival, gang, or some slimy rich fellow who was owed money. "I hope that idiot hollowheart got the message, and that he brings some backup. I really want to show him just how much I resented that job he gave us." she frowned. "It took bloody ages to throw off those cops..."

"Indeed, Marisilla. The police officers indeed do a good job policing. They have been tightening security lately; be on your guard for suspicious activity from ordinary-looking people and creatures."

Sefiria trotted until she reached the steps that would lead them into the Cathedral itself. She looked over her shoulder at Mari, gave a slight nod, and gracefully ascended the steps and disappeared into the building.

At the same time, behind them both, there were two male Lucain. One was behind the other, as though just along for the company. The one in front had the more showy colors, and he would plant himself in front of Mari the moment she entered the Cathedral.

"Hey there pretty lady, what'cha doing all the way out yonder?" he showed her a flashy, flirtatious grin. "Out here there's thieves and homeless'ns and all sorts of crazed folk who would just lo~ve to get their hands on you." He let out a rumbling growl in his throat just so that it sounded like a purr to prove his point. He seemed to have a very sing-song voice; it was warm and friendly and flirtatious and inviting at the same time.

The grey male who had appeared with the gold and pink one stood away, shyness overtaking him as it always did. He stood beside the doorway on the inside and watched the two females and his brother.

Mari looked at the young male. He was good looking, she had to admit. She decided to play up to his advance for a while. "Well, I could say the same to you." she said, fluttering her eyelashes. This was totally unlike her, but she had a dozen aliases that she could use. She should probably catch up with Sefiria though... "Why don't you come with me?" she said, struck by a sudden idea. "I have a friend that your companion might like..." she added, leaning towards the male a little bit. Shameless, but she didn't care. Turning towards the entrance, she looked back and flicked her tails at the pair.
