There was a good chance that it wouldn't mean much by this point, but for Haizea, it was still important that she did this anyway for this lost soul. Regardless of the amount of time that had gone by before they'd found them. It was a process that clearly bothered Keahi, however. As she quietly stood aside and watched her companion do her thing, the smile once on her face just a moment ago had now curved down into a frown.

There was a reason for why she would go as far as to spend a couple minutes offering a few words for a dead guy. As nice as those prayers would seem, Keahi did feel it was more a waste of time than anything. There was nothing there in those bones anymore to even hear it, and there could still be countless more still ahead of them.

Would she do the same thing for each and every one they find?

The only sign of discontent over this that she would show is to let out a heavy breath in the form of a sigh. Which may or may not even matter to Haizea, as she gave no indication of actually hearing it.

They had been doing this long enough that even Keahi knew full well there would be no way of getting around this. Haizea was gonna do whatever she wanted, whether her companion liked it or not.

And because there would be no stopping her, Keahi was just gonna have to deal with being patient for once. Once that became clear, she had no choice but to turn away and keep going just a bit further ahead to distance herself from this little scene.

Talking about it didn't even do any good, as both women were equally stubborn in their own ways. The last time she tried to had proven that quite well, accomplishing absolutely nothing in the end.

As Haizea was speaking, she did in fact hear the audible sigh made by her companion, and knew exactly what that meant. But she had no intention of stopping, not until the prayer was finished. It wasn't even going to take more than a minute or two! Jeez!

The irritation that had been built up over time from this particular issue they had would start rising to the surface, but was promptly forced back down. They had a mission that took priority, so now would not be the time to start fighting one another.
