Alrisha's ears perked as she let this comment sink in.  "Heh.  Fire would positively kill me if she saw me like this..." She said, waiting for the waitress to come back with the tea and scone.  Turning her head again, she said, "Y-yes, I trust you..." She said, her eyes curious.  What did he have in mind?  ...nothing bad, I hope. She thought.

Hearing her say she trusted him with that slightly hesitant voice... he loved it. Grinning a cheshire cat grin, he stood up and walked over to her chair. "Stay seated, and stay relaxed." He pulled her chair slightly away from the table so she wouldn't bump it, then ever so carefully, he leaned it back onto one back leg... Once he was sure he had the balance just right, he then spun it around twice before stopping it and letting the other back leg touch the floor again, then all four legs... then he shifted so he could get a look at her face.

(That actually happened to me in real life, by the way, my BFF and I were out chillin, and these two guys wanted to buy us drinks, then when we said we were just drinking soda's the one guy did that to my chair. It was hilarious. oh, and want to move on to this thread once they're done eating? forums/viewtopic.php?t=1034 )

Alrisha's hands were chutching at the chair until at last, all four legs were back on the floor.  After a few moments, she said, "Wow... nice move..." She said as the waitress came back with their orders.  She took a sip of her berry tea, the warmth going through her and the berry taste reminding her of one of the Berry Kuhnas she lived with.  As she bit into the scone, the flavor of the cinnamon soothed her spirit as she said, "I'll have to tell Wyra that she has to come out here with me at some point to meet you.  She would so love to see you again." After that, she continued to contentedly sip her tea.

Parish grinned, pleased at the expression on her face, yet food had arrived, and very few things could take the place of food in a guys heart... well, needless to say he sat down and had wolfed down his food in about four bites, taking gulps of his tea in between each bite. Ouch! Hot. He was lucky this place served the tea at a perfect temperature so his mouth wasn't burned, just warm and pleasantly tingly. Meet his mother... He felt a moment of nerves, then nodded. Yes, that would be interesting... hmm. He was having quite a good time with 'Risha and didn't want the evening to end just yet... He fingered the coins in his pockets, then smiled. "I've heard of an excellent club in the slums I was planning on going and checking it out, and if you wanted to come along I'd enjoy the company... For now though if you want to head outside, I'll just use the bathroom and settle the bill then join you." The Waitress, hearing those words quickly wisked by and set the bill on the table, price side down as she carried a rather full tray of tea cups off to another table.

Alrisha nodded as she stood up.  "Okay, I'll just be sitting at one of the tables outside." She said.  As she walked outside and sat at the table closest to the door, she realized that she'd brought her bag with her journal in it.  She took it out and began to write for a few moments, taking careful detail to everything that had happened since she had come out here.
