Apahcolypse made his way through the forest, still trying to figure out why he always came here and why he always came to this place. The stream, he thought as he reached it once more. He couldn't help thinking that he might always come here for a reason. He stared at the water trying to figure out why he had been coming here for months in his sleep. He never had trouble with sleep-walking before. As the moon shined over the stream, he drifted into his own thoughts, leaving the rest of the world behind in his wild imagination. As he was in his day- well, night- dream, a creature was across the water from him in the bushes, waiting to come out to meet him.

The Chaos Yonyuu looked at the creature at the stream. Carmesi sighed as she continued walking absent-mindedly. She had the trouble of walking to the same place to think right before dawn, but this time was earlier. Strange, she thought as she reached the river. As she stepped onto the edge of the bank, the creature became visible enough to recognize it as a Cursed Yonyuu. The being quickly looked up with his piercing eyes. "Hello," whispered Carmesi.

Apahcolypse looked at the Yonyuu in surprise, not because he spoke to her, but because he had a feeling of... there was no word for it... he felt... he felt that he was upposed to meet the other Yonyuu. "Greetings," growled Apahcolypse in reply. "I am Apahcolypse." he added, then thought in wonder at himself. He had never been this comfertable with a stranger before. There was a long pause as the Chaos Yonyuu looke out over the river. "And you are... ?" he asked in feigned indifference to her not listening.

Carmesi looked over the water, surprised that the Yonyuu was being openly friendly with her. He had a private air around him, a secretive air. She looked back over, sensing he wanted to actually chit chat. "Carmesi," she grinned at him. "It is crimson in Spanish," she continued, trying to keep up a conversation with this stranger. Somehow, she thought that this felt... right. Like it was supposed to happen. She felt completely comfortable around him and felt that she could trust him. What am I thinking? This character is a total stranger to me! Why am I thinking of him this way?, she interrogated herself as she tried to hide her inner turmoil from this... Apahcolypse, she beamed in her mind.

"Carmesi... a beautiful name. Perfect for you." he told her. Oh, Jeezum, am I flirting with this girl?, he wondered. He enjoyed, much to his surprise, that he was. Is this what Keira was talking about? Is this what love is?, he thought. "Maybe," Keira said in his mind with a teasing tone. "You're gonna have to find out yourself," she added as she left him to find the way out of the dark. Apahcolypse shook his head and focused again on what might be a fresh start for him and a fun new journey for his family.

Carmesi smiled shyly at his compliment. Maybe this is what flirting is, she thought as she realized maybe they had more in common. "Um... even though we kind of just met, I think I need to tell you this... I have a trouble of coming here at night... even when I'm awake at this time of night sometimes, I somehow wander out here, but usually at dawn." she confided to him as he sat and listened.

"Strange, I happen to have the same problem," Apahcolypse muttered as he shook out his wings. "I come here the same night everynight as well. I always head home to my partner after collecting my dreams as I was walking. I have already done that. What do you do?" he asked as he turned to her in confusion.

Carmesi blinked. He DID have the same problem. "I. . . I stay here for the rest of the night, then I head back to my tree. I don't really have a home," she laughed. "I was pretty much a nomad until I started coming here. Then I stayed in case. . . in case something happened here one day." It's time to go back to my tree, she thought as the sun shone through the clutter of tree trunks on the forest floor. She turned to tell him, but it had just hit her that she forgot which tree was hers! "Crap," she muttered.

"Are you alright?" asked Apahcolypse as he looked to her. She looked kind of distraught and lost as she looked around.

Carmesi shook her head to clear it as well as tell Apahcolypse no. "I forgot where my tree is at. . ." she muttered, embarrassed. "Maybe. . . maybe I can travel with you?" she asked.

"Of course," Apahcolypse said, blushing. He opened his wings and started away, motioning her to follow. As she rose, the two flew away into the night together, back to "Home," they sighed simultaneously. "Now it will really feel like that," Apahcolypse laughed to her. She smiled at him and they made it home, safe and sound.
