"I think we should stop here, for a quick break Xania."

I looked at Luna, she was right. We've been walking for a very long time, and a break would prepare us for the next time we head off.

"I suppose your right, Luna. How about we stop at the next town though? It's not to far ahead of us."
"Okay, good idea."

Heading to the next town wasn't that far, just like Xania had said. Although there was a sign that we passed, to say how long it would take to get to the next town and after. It didn't occur to me like it was going to be that fast though. I then notice us head for a bar/restaurant type thing. We walked through the doors, and saw many people and waitresses taking peoples orders.

"Okay, can you order some drinks and food? I need to go to the washroom."
"Sure."

I walked away to the counter, while Xania went to the washroom.

"Hey, I'd like a two hot chocolates and two grilled cheeses please if you have them."

The lady took my order and walked away. I then waited for Xania and the meals to be served.

Leaving my home town was hard. So many things had happened there but there was no going back now. The flood took out almost every building and I was lucky to have even survived. There were only about five or less people who lived there, unfortunately I think I was the only one who made it out alive.

Where else would someone go after that besides a bar? In the closest town I found a bar/restaurant. It was nice looking and newly built. There were quite a few people there including two other girls. I sat down at the bar and ordered a beer. A few seconds later I realized I hadn't eaten in a while, so I ordered garlic bread as well. I sat there thinking as I ate my meal.


What could have caused the storm? It came out of nowhere. All the storms I tracked so far had just appeared in populated areas. There was no origin to any of them. The only conclusion I could make was that they started from the north. But still, they didn't travel from city to city, they just appeared.

My meal was almost done and I decided that I would head North to see if I could find any answers about the strange storms. I got up and started heading towards the door when a huge gush of wind through the bar door open. The wind was stronger than I had ever felt! Not here too! I thought to myself as I felt the tornado like winds. I wasn't going to let everyone die this time. "Everyone! Find a sturdy place to hide! A tornado is coming!" I hoped that everyone was listening but I think they all just panicked and ran home. I jumped behind the bar. It was fairly sturdy because it was bolted down into the ground and there was a ledge for protection. All I could do was hope that someone else took my advice!

Just as Xania was coming out of the washroom, our food was served finally. I mean not that it took that long but, I was very hungry. Thats probably why it felt like forever. We started eating and saw lot of people come into the little bar/restaurant. Then all of a sudden I hear yelling and shouting. People yelling something specific. Tornado. Although I wasn't scared and I was concerned.

"Xania? Its another one."
"I know I heard." I said intensely. Walking out the door calmly.

While Xania went to look outside, I jump on the other side of the bar, I looked at the other person.

"When you first got here, a storm started to brew up. I think someones after you, listen come with me and you can talk to Xania and I?"I said to the other person, while watching my friend come back.

"We need to go underground, come on. We'll be safest there." I spoke calmly.

Another person jumped behind the bar with me. It was strange, she began to speak as if she already knew what was going on! "Following me?" I replied surprised. Quickly I got up and started following the girl. I morphed into my creature form so it would be easier to move about.

"Yes," I replied quickly, getting off the floor.

Xania then led us to a door that went underground. It's not that I didn't know where it was I mean, we were the ones that built it knowing that we would need a secret place to stay when we stopped by every town. I just had to make sure, this new person could get there safely.

When we finally got underground, Xania turned on the light. I went to sit down on the couch, I mean it was so comfortable in our little space.

"Here you go." I passed a cup of hot chocolate to the new comer and Luna. Then sitting down, waiting for questions. I wanted everyone to get settled in first before a conversation came up.

"It would be a appreciated if you were in human form inside our place."I said to the newcomer.

We entered the den in which they led me to. "Of course." I replied softly to one of them as I switched back into human form. I looked around and the place seemed like an underground house. My attention quickly drew back to the storms. "So what did you mean earlier? When you said that someones is after me?" My voice was calm, and it even had a tint of suspicion in it. I never liked to be the last one to know something. And now- now my home and neighbors are gone because of me? I didn't like any of it at all.
Before they had time to answer I remembered to ask, "Oh and who are the two of you?" I sat quietly and listened fro their response.

"Well, I'm Xania and this is Luna. What did Luna mean about someone being after you? Well, actully, its pretty obvious isn't it? I mean it was to long ago that a storm hit after you entered the restaurant. Make sense?" I Replied .

We don't know who it might be. However, we do know that things like that don't just happen like that. Especially around this town, make sense?" I added, not knowing what to say next.

I listened to what Xania and Luna said but it still didn't make sense. "But why me?" I blurred out impatiently. I had been studying the storms for a while. I wasn't where they were! I have only been stuck in two so far. "I've been tracking them." I said to the two girls before I continued, "-the storms I mean. They started in the north. One of my friends villages got hit by a snow storm. Many of the villagers took refuge in my village till it go hit." I paused for a moment so the girls could add in any comments.

"Hmm..." Luna spoke quietly. Probably wondering if they were wrong. It didn't make sense to them of why the storm would hit after this creature knowned as... then they noticed they didn't know the creatures name. "Whats your name?" Asked Xania. As if it might indicate some sort of mystery, maybe history perhaps? " Feel so confused.."

My name. Right, I guess it was polite to tell people who you are. "My name is Kasumi." I looked at them silently for a moment or two. Finally I said what (I believe) we were all thinking, "So... now what?" I had no clue what we were going to do now. Three strangers (well two friends and a stranger) caught in a mysterious storm watch. What to do in this type of situation was never taught to you by your parents- why would it? It's not like something this strange happens everyday.

Xania and Luna looked at each other, "I don't know" they both responded. Looking at each other in confusion, wondering if they were wrong because they had no back up to their words. "Maybe we are wrong.." Luna spoke out in confusion. "What do you think, Kasumi?" Xania asked in hope.
