[Kylo]

Hallow sat in his hutch and twitched his nose irratatedly. He had been stuck in there for a while now and Sedimus wouldn't be home for several more hours. He grabbed some timothy hay and munched on it as he plotted a way to get out. He had already tried to open the latch but just could not reach it. He had even attempted to use the hay to reach it but it was just too weak to move the latch. He munched some more until he heard some rustling from the bushes by the nearby tree line. His ear swilved over to it followed by his head. Seeing nothing, but erring on the side of caution, he froze. He waited for several long minutes before deciding that it was nothing more then a wayward rattegan searching for food.

Leanna hopped through the forest, her little nose twitching as it took in all the different scents of the forest. It was her first time in this part of the forest, so she was curious as to what kind of plants and maybe even creatures lived in there. As she continued to hop, she reached a place where the trees began to lessen and the ground became grass. She reached the edge of the grass and peaked her head up curiously. Her nose continued to twitch as she looked across from her.

Leanna could see a hutch a few yards away and within it was a diosol. Which she found rather odd. Why would you cage yourself up? She hopped toward the cage and when she reached it she looked in with wide, curious eyes. She wasn't entirely sure about meeting a new diosol, but as long as they didn't ask too many questions, she would be fine. "What are you doing in there?" She asked the other diosol inside the hutch.

Hallow looked up at the diosol doe in surprise. He had never seen a diosol without a human bringing them there. He tiltled his head curiously at her before replying. "The humans put me here of course. Don't they lock you up too?" He thought the question to be normal, after all it wasn't like diosol were wild...right? He sniffedat Leanna through the wires and wondered if she was wild. He had heard rumors of wild diosol, but surely they were just that. "Could unhook that latch there? I kind of can't reach it."

Leanna shook her head no. "No, why would they?" She tilted her head at the strange diosol locked up in the cage. "I've always been independent, and who's they anyway?" She had answered Hallow's first question without thinking much, but they she realized she had no idea who the other was talking about. She hopped a little closer to peer at Hallow before she answered his next question. "Well, I guess I could. But aren't you in there for a reason? Where you bad?" She said the last word in a hushed tone like it was taboo to speak of it. "And what are you going to do once I let you out?"

[Kylo]

"You know, the humans. 'They' are humans. Big scary creatures without fur excpet on top of their head. Humans keep us as pets and have us breed for their weird sick amusement. Are you....wild?" He sniffed her again and did not smell any human on her. When he heard her say bad like it was a curse he tilted his head to the side in curiousity. "What do you mean 'bad'? How could I be bad if I'm not allowed to do anything but eat, sit around, and sleep?" He twitched his nose and wondered about what he'd do if he was free. "Well I'd stretch my legs and hop around. Then I'd eat some real food and maybe explore the forest a bit. You act like I'd do anything else."

"Oh, they," she said with a sniff. Humans... they destroyed the forests she lived and traveled through and polluted everything. They just couldn't keep their paws off the forests and seas and other environments. "I've heard stories about the breeding thing... I'd never let them make me do that." She puffed up her chest proudly, then continued to answer the question about being wild. "Well, I suppose you could say that, I don't have a home, I'm kind of nomadic. And, I just assumed they threw you in a cage when you were bad, because that just seems the logical thing to do, in my mind anyway." She tilted her head once  more. "And, well.... there are all kinds of things in the forest that could eat you, you have to be careful."

[Kylo]

"I wish I could say the same. Fortunately the human that 'owns' me is nice and doesn't try to force me to breed. My previous owner did, but they were diosol breeders s it was expected from them." He smiled at Leanna when she puffed out her chest proudly. It was a rather funny display in his mind. He then heard he talk about preditors and he grimaced internally. "Oh well that's no good, but I could always run back here if it gets too dangerous. So could you let me out now?"

Leanna tilted her head curiously. She was actually enjoying talking with this other diosol while he was stuck inside the pen. "Well, I suppose I could," she said teasingly. She looked up at the lock, debating opening it or not. She fluttered up and undid the latch with a smooth motion. Then she stepped back and waited for the other to come out. "So, do you have a name?" She didn't have anything better to do, so why not help this guy out?

[Kylo]

Hallow hopped out of the cage and stretched his long legs behind himself. "Thank you. Anyway, my name is Hallow and yours would be?" He sniffed the fresh and smiled happily at not being crammed inside a hutch. He looked at Leanna more closely and found her to be very interesting. She was lean and had a beautiful fur pattern.

"My name is Leanna," she said happily. "It's nice to meet you." She watched as he hopped from the hutch. His long legs stretched out behind him, and his fur pattern was actually quite lovely out in the full sunlight. She began to hop towards the forest as the sun shone down on them. "Let's go," she said with a teasing smile. "The forest is lovely, when you know where you're going," she added. The grass was dry and somewhat higher the further they went toward the forest, but Leanna seemed to be able to maneuver without problem through the tall grass.

[Kylo]

"It's nice to meet you as well." He listened to her tease him and he laughed before hopping after her. Once the grass got taller he had a bit of trouble hopping through it. He had never been inside tall grass before. "I love this place! All the new sights and smells are wonderful!"

Leanna looked back at Hallow as they hopped along. "There are all kinds of new sights and sounds out here that you've probably never seen before," she said with a wistful tone. She continued to hop and then a beautiful butterfly came their way. Leann watched it with wide eyes, it came towards them and flew around her, then flew mack towards Hallow. It danced around his head before flying on. Leanna giggled at the butterfly. "They are so pretty," she said with a small smile.

Hallow sat up and stared at the butterfly as it flitted by. He had never seen one before as most creatures did not go near the house on the hill that he lived in. "It is pretty. Hey do you know any place where good food can be found?" He hopped close to her and sniffed around. He could smell something that smelled a lot like his timothy hay.

Leanna shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know for sure," she said. "I'm new to this particular area." Then she shot Hallow a look. "Not that I'm not an experienced diosol, I just haven't scoped this place out yet." She then looked back ahead of her and sniffed the air. She could smell grass, and lots of it. "Which way do you want to go? Toward the forest, or stay in this nice meadow?"

((Sorry for late reply muse went dead for a bit.))

"The forest please. I've seen the meadow before when Sedimus takes me on walks." He wiggled his nose and hopped towards the forest. He did not know what Leanna meant by the look she had given him and just ignored it. Maybe it was some weird thing that does do. He sniffed the air again and smelled grass as well.
