Th-That is... Ugh, Sivain said, or rather, thought; having no mouth to speak with in this form, he reverted to thought-speech, but even then he was rendered incapable of anything more than sputtering indignantly. This was not what he had in mind at all. Disgruntled to the point that he had lost his composure, he glared grimly at Naomi, this made entirely ineffective by his current... state of being. Those big, sparkling Lubshi eyes simply didn't convey the absolute displeasure he felt at being caught like this. With his little Lubshi ear-wings flapping rapidly in agitation, he squinted his eyes shut and tried once more to call forth his Paragon form. It took a bit of calming-down for him to do so, but when he opened his eyes again he could feel his wings (on his back this time, thankfully) and the familiar slope of his long, graceful neck.

He regarded Naomi with an appraising eye for a moment, then shrugged it off and continued. It did feel a bit different now that there was such a height difference between them, but he was used to that by now. Unfortunately, his Paragon form was not exactly suited to the task at hand. "You see, the reason I showed up as a human is so that this would not happen," he said, brows furrowed in disapproval as he attempted gingerly to grasp the now-tiny eggs. He didn't manage to do so, and for fear of crushing them if he kept trying, he had to resort to becoming human again. However more cumbersome this form might have been, hands were a very good thing to have.

"Aww, and your eyes! There so cute right-" Naomi was cutoff mid-sentence as Sivain transformed into a gigantic Paragon right before her eyes. "Oh!" She exclaimed, fortunately still able to communicate in her Lucain form. "This is somewhat closer to what I imagined you'd look like. Not as cute, hah, but definitely more... fitting." She has to crane her neck to the sky if she wanted to make eye contact with Sivain's towering new form.

Naomi had felt slightly sorry for Sivain, it was obvious due to his statement that he definitely had not wanted to be a Lubshi, and she could see how a man like him would not want to be seen in that form. She determined it best if she dropped the shape-shifting topic all together and focus on Easter eggs.

After having difficulty collecting eggs, Sivain returned to his human form. About to follow suite, Naomi stopped herself, wanting to do one more thing as a Lucain. Naomi bowed down, her rear end high in the air and her face near to the ground, and began to dig quickly. After a minute of non-stop, dirt-flying digging, she sat down proudly and admired the little hole she had dug in the ground. Seconds later, she was back in her human form. "Here, we can keep and hold our eggs someplace else besides our hands now!" Gently, she dropped in her small collection of eggs she had found so far in the clearing and the two from the tree. Not much later she took off to grab a few more insight eggs.

Sivain said blandly, "I would hope that none would suspect me of being so... diminutive." In addition to it being outright ridiculous, it would also give the impression that the height of his human form (which was rather tall, as humans went) was to somehow make up for the lack of height of the Lubshi. But that particular shape was simply one he afforded to put children at ease, when he had need to, and had maintained upon the request of a close friend.

He raised a brow as she began digging, idly situating himself so that no stray bit of dirt might catch his person, but when she revealed the purpose of the hole he had to marvel at her forethought. "Actually, that is very clever. Thank you," he said, trying to put some warmth in his voice. She was enthusiastic, and happy to converse with him, despite his own awkwardness and the terseness that came over him at times. He was grateful for the pleasantness of her company, and if he could return some of it in kind, he would.

With that, he set about gathering the eggs in his immediate area as well, working with a quiet efficiency. It wasn't something that he was used to, and crouching down all the time felt a bit undignified, but it wasn't difficult. When he had more than his arms could carry, after a moment of deliberation, he decided to hold up the edge of his shirt and collect the eggs that way instead. It felt a little strange to have his stomach exposed, but decorum could take a break for a moment, surely...

"Oh you're welcome!" Naomi said, happy that she had helped. Sivain was seeming to warm up to her a little more, which of course added to Naomi's cheerfulness. She wasn't sure what to talk about next, so she kept quiet and proceeded to collect eggs. It was somewhat unlike her, as Naomi always had lots of topics to talk about. They collected for several minutes more, and she watched as Sivain came up with a rather clever idea to hold his eggs in his shirt until he deposited them in their 'egg hole'. It was somewhat surprising, as the action was a little more casual for Sivain - but Naomi didn't mind, it was good he was loosening up a bit. Unfortunately, Naomi couldn't do the same with her dress, so she had to continue running back and forth.

Twenty minutes of vigorous egg-hunting later, Naomi declared the clearing completely egg free. The two of them had looked in every possible spot, and there hole was overflowing with easter eggs. "I would call this clearing officially egg-free." She laughed happily while looking at their collection of brightly colored eggs, "We did good work! Let's take a quick break before heading on somewhere new. But honestly, we don't have to look to much more. We've already got eggs to spare!"

Sivain was more than a little relieved that Naomi hadn't chosen to comment on his manner of egg-gathering. It had been an idea he'd learned from watching children, and that wouldn't have been a comfortable thing to admit. He made his last trip to drop off more eggs and then scanned around casually to see if they missed any, but she was right. They'd cleared the area. "We could look elsewhere," he began, "but then we would have to move all of these, and I think that would be terribly inconvenient." They had amassed a respectable collection of the objects now, and it would be a hassle to carry them all even if he did so with his shirt.

"So what do you suppose we ought to do now? Go back? Have a picnic?" Sivain wasn't in any hurry himself, not anymore. He'd gotten used to the idea of being here, and it was as he told Naomi: there wasn't enough going on in his life to warrant him hurrying off anywhere. The picnic idea was, of course, more of e jest than anything. As far as he knew, neither of them had any food on them. Still, he was genuinely curious as to what she had in mind, as she'd been the one to suggest that they stop in their search.

"Hmm..." Naomi wasn't quite sure what to suggest, but she didn't want to go home quite yet. "A picnic would have been lovely, but I don't have any food and it doesn't look like you do, either." She grinned as she spoke, "And I'm not up for moving all of our eggs somewhere else. It'd be too much of a hassle." After thinking for a minute or two, she finally spoke once again. "Perhaps we can just go for a walk? The forest is really lively in spring and I'm sure we can stay entertained. I'll cover up the eggs so that nobody tries to steal them."

Bending down, Naomi gently smoothed out some dirt on top of the eggs until they were hidden from view. She then reached out and grabbed a small stick from the ground and pushed it into the dirt, so it stood vertically above their pile. "There! Now we'll remember where the hole was when we come back to fetch the eggs." With that, Naomi stood up and brushed remaining debris off her legs. As if a child, she skipped a few steps forward and twisted her neck back to Sivain, "You coming? We don't have that much time!"

Sivain looked at the camouflage as if considering something for a bit, and then glowered at it some. Leaves moved in a subtle flurry to cover the patch of dirt, and grass could be seen to sprout thinly in their midst, brightly green with new life. It wasn't much, but then it wasn't his natural element either, and what he managed sufficed for their needs. The bare patch of dirt was less conspicuous, and the stick could still be seen clearly, which was what he'd intended. "Yes, I'm coming," he said, and turned to walk in Naomi's direction without looking back on the egg pile.

The field, he'd noted earlier, was filled with flowers and long grass, not unlike some of his favorite haunts in his childhood. When the wind moved through it all, it wavered like a great green ocean spreading out before them. The air carried the scent of spring, cool and fresh, making Sivain sigh a little in contentment. Making idle conversation, he turned to Naomi and asked, "Which of the seasons is your favorite?"

The warm air and the light breeze was relaxing and the chirps and calls of birds filled in the silence. Everything about the forest was perfect for the moment. Naomi turned to Sivain as he asked her a question, "I've got to say spring. I love everything about it - the warm but not too hot temperature, the baby animals, and the bright colors. Especially the gentle wind that never seems to cease. I love the wind, there is something so relaxing and magical about it." Naomi spoke passionately, and one could tell that she really had a love for spring and everything about it. She smiled brightly and shot back the question to Sivain, "And what would you say your favorite season is?"

As they walked deeper and deeper into the forest it became darker and darker. The only source of light was that peering through the spaces between the tall and thick trees. Behind a thick oak tree, Naomi could see two Tali pups peering out from behind the trunk. Keeping her voice hushed so she wouldn't scare them she spoke to Sivain, "Look Sivain, behind that tree. You can see two little Tali pups. Aren't they just the cutest?!"
