These woods are nice for a casual walk or even if you have a more adventurous urge. Bubbling hot springs lie just around the bend, fruits can be found to suit every taste bud, and rumor has it there are talking Tali who can speak Lambastian! (+2 Precision)

Yea, mid day in spring. Pleasurable weather. Sunny, dancing clouds. No annoying over breezy breeze to blow you over. Whatever. Very little was different for Naraqua. She spent nearly every last moment of her life at the lake, ever since Okko had made it... She could hardly recall her days before hand, if they even happened to exist. Crazy lady, that one was, making this thing all on her own. Rin surely wouldn't complain, however. It was her safe haven, her entertainment through out the day. One could even go so far as to say that it was Lucain's home. Attracted to water she was; could hardly stand to be away from it for long.

But something was different today. Unlike her usual, she wasn't swimming laps, trying to hunt down that nameless tentacled monster, nor was Tyvek around to pester. She was an athletic type, preferring to keep as busy as was possible, ever since the princess had laid her off as the head servant-maid. Instead she was sprawled out on a long orange water floatie, soaking up the warm sun. A break from all the activities directly within the water, yet close enough to it that she was comfortable. She was wearing far less then a maid's outfit would cover, a red two pecied swimsuit. The upper half being of a halter top with an intricate design of darker red swirls. It tied up around the back of her neck and displayed a clip between the cups in the front. The lower half had a similar printed design, being of the skort style. Looking modest and pretty was rather difficult, but strings were pretty disgusting, especially for someone oh so active in the water as she. If she had wore strings, she would have lost them a long, long time ago. Still, this ensemble revealed a good bit of skin, no matter how modest it was for a two piece. Her slightly blue tinted skin was quite visible. And no, the blue tint wasn't over whelming. Just very subtle. Most wouldn't no the difference until the met her face to face. This also left her deeper blue, red streaked hair to cascade down her shoulders from the high ponytail she had it in. It appeared, in and of itself, to glitter in the right light, much like droplets of water had naturally been held captive within her hair.

A yawn escaped her lips, having simply been staring off with in no particular direction; until her body's natural involuntary decision to stretch her jaw and prove to her just how serene she felt while allowing two out of her three tails plus her finger tips of one hand to grace the water's surface, eyes closed. It was too dangerous to fall asleep here with that monster living in the depths. It was a forced wake up call she sent through her body when her plush ears twitched. Eh? Someone she'd never seen before across the lake... Okko's property, on the other side of the high risen, spiked dividing gate. Bored as she was now, and knowing she had to stay awake, she took interest in the stranger. "I wonder..." She was speaking to herself, certainly. "What are they doing...?"

Oh hey, binoculars. Wasn't she going to birdwatch or something like that? Oh well. Man watch! Definitely not a past time she endured, hardly given males a second glance because she was never interested any of that fluffy love junk. She slipped the black binoculars from around her neck and held them up, red eyes peering through. Heeeeey. That guy was pretty cute...uh...save for his fashion. At the very least, it was something to do.

Doo do doo.  Bark flying. Oh the excitement! Okay....no...not really. Of course not. But, as she'd decided when she had just started watching, he was definitely more interesting then staring at nothing at all. Wow. He was pretty buff. Duh. Very obvious. Weren't girls supposed to like that kind of thing? The ex-maidservant supposed it was true. So, yea, he was pretty fun to watch, compared to anything else. If she had been paying more attention to his actions then just him, then she might have noticed that was starting to act different when her intent observation began. Nope. Not her. Too busy.

'Oh my lord! Oh my lord!' Suddenly her head snapped to the side, a blush creeping onto her face. He just pulled off his pants! What in the lord's name!? All casual had he been, stopping with whatever form of training he was currently undergoing. The change made her all the more intent, to see what he was gonna do next and then- and then! How embarrassing! Looking the other way for a few moments, her eyes started to shift frantically around. 'Great! What can I do now? No! No!' She found her gaze trying to sneak back over to him. 'No! I can't!' Too late. Too curious. Before she could stop herself, she was back to inspecting her specimen. 'Whew!' Wiping off a mental sweat drop there. He was still wearing pants! Basically. And these were so much better. Ooooh. Not bad. Not bad.

And then...chaos. All through it Rin was still just as silent as ever, watching the event of a hostile Huego chasing this new and rather interesting male. Off went Croy...Wait for it...Wait for it! "Ah, meh friend! You no wait for me!"Exclaimed a fresh British accented voice belonging to the 'Luigi' of the Slikey duo, whom had popped his head up from the surface of the lake only a mere few feet from Naraqua's floatie. "So there you are."She spoke to herself as he was off in a flash, much like a torpedo. Up and over the fence he went, having gained the ability from the pair's constant monster dueling antics. Quick to join along side the Blackberry, he made himself into yet another distraction for the cannibal.
The spray from his water dash sprinkling the sunbather, which almost burst out in complaint. She sat up with a clenched fist when she came into realization of something. A mischievous smirk played onto her features. A quick slurp from her choice icy beverage [raspberry brisk ice tea]  and a causal flick of her wrist after returning the glass to its holder

WHOOSH! Water burst from the surface like pressured underground geyser, exploding sound included. The lake itself seemed to be trying to expel Kan??m from it's vicinity, blasting him out. What was really happening? Let us just say that somebody decided to, erm, save someone else.

Swimming in an alteration of loops around Heugo, Tyvek kept in precise sync with his partner in crime, so to speak, poking, prodding and twirling all around their victim, laughing heartily as well- just in order to torment the cannibal that much more. "Yes-" came the start of his reply as he dove downward to avoid the slashing arm of the Hydrolisk just in time, slipping below him and around again. He continued upon path crossing, taking time as need, "meh friend-" another dodge "we shall." And with that confirmation, the Banana Slikey charged Heugo, pouncing on him to knock him back and smacked him in the face with his tail as he fled in the direction leading away from the previously attacked Kuhna-type.

Blasted man! Rin's brow furrowed a bit as she observed Kan??m getting shot up by her geyser only to flip off and back into the lake. The idiot! He was supposed to stay on it! She was trying to get him out of that dangerous half of the lake! It didn't occur to her that this side also had its own monster, but it wasn't nearly as bad as Heugo after getting assaulted a time or two. Those Slikey boys were good at what they did, and it was weary because of it. Ah, it was good to have unusual acquaintances like them. That aside, little miss man-watcher was far too persistent in her act to allow K to get away.

A little more serious now, she flicked her hand back and forth in a never ending series, the motions rapid enough to remind one of an orchestra conductor, but broken into one movement at a time so that it was more...robotic seeming. Just like when people did the robot in dance competitions back in the day! With each individual movement, the water converged into itself and burst into pillars continuously in unpredictable patterns, determined to eject Kan??m no matter how many times he got away. He.Was.Going.Down. Or...well...over the fence.

Hey, this was pretty good mental exercise for Naraqua too.

Rin watched with a bit of frustration, and some level of admiration toward Kan??m. Every blast of water she was shooting up was avoided! Sure, he got pushed up on them a few times, but he kept jumping off! It was somewhat unnerving for the lady, since it was like a test of her own abilities. So far, thanks to him, the grade of said test wasn't turning out very well so far. On the other handle, she was bemused that he tried to attack into the water, only to find that he failed as well. Silly male.

Her ears fell back as she was equally staring at the male as he caught sight of her. She was staring! Logical reason to be. But! But! Ah great. She suddenly had the feeling that he was very aware of her having been watching him, particularly when color came to his cheeks. It almost made her blush too, but there wasn't too much time for him to notice that she did, or even for her too, since she abruptly realized that he was plummeting toward the spikes. 'Dammit' The word appeared in her mind as she cursed the situation.

Well...he was staring back so... A smirk slipped onto her features and her fingers snapped together. Simultaneously, another tower of water spun up from the lake surface behind the fence, but curved toward the male to shoot him out of harm's way and onto her side of the lake.
"Aaah!" Her eyes grew wide, then just realizing that he'd probably come dangerous close to her floatie. He'd splash her! And no! Never! She just couldn't get wet! That defeated the purpose of sunbathing and tanning!

Splashed with water, and half spazzing herself, Rin had sent her icy beverage into the depths of the lake. She got off lucky, at the time, considering she had nearly fallen off her floatie when it looked like this stranger of a male was going to land smack on her. Half of her, was now wet. The half in which he'd landed closest to when he collided with the water. Her tinted skin was now rather shiny, from the droplets of water, which could have acted as a factor of attraction. Yay for Kan??m? However that portion of her hair black in the ponytail, and that ear was also soaked. Her expression was annoyed, even if this was her own dang fault to begin with.

The Lucain gave a huff, wringing out her hair awkwardly leaning over the lake when the young man poked his head up. "Aaah!" She jumped, and nearly fell off once again. She scrambled to gain her balance, for the second time in a row. Which was pretty hilarious, by the way. With luck, she made it out alive and without being sent into the body of water. Her face tinted with a light shade of pink, from the embarrassing situation. A glare was given at Kan??m for nearly making her flip. "Hello." She grunted, flipping her hair back over her shoulder. "You know, you should learn not to play in the lake. It's dangerous." She teased him a bit, just so she didn't feel as awkward. "Mario, Luigi, and I can't always be around to save everyone from the monsters." Despite making fun of him, a smile slipped onto her face. She wasn't very aware how bad he could possibly take her jokes. Apparently, he took pride in his own abilities. Hopefully, it didn't harm that pride or upset him other wise.

Inwardly, she was ogling over just how hot he really was. Up close. Whooo, drop you dead, sexy!
Just keep that in, keep that in. She wasn't going to let him know that! Why was she even thinking like this anyway!?

She couldn't stifle her own laugh, possibly just from his absolute cluelessness. A hand was held over her mouth as she laughed, until she was able to calm herself. She didn't move at all when she laughed. A habit you sort of picked up when you were a maidservant in a castle. Even if you found something to be undeniably hilarious, it wasn't seen as proper to laugh in front of anyone above you. It would be answered in punishment.
"Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't." Aversion to the question, with a sly grin. "Of course he's not the only monster." She said, matter-of-factly. It was only common sense to her, that each side would have its own monster. Each side was guarded, that was that. Though she held the assumption that the monster on this side wasn't at all the same as the cannibal within the other. It wasn't as hostile, easier to control. After all, she couldn't very well sunbathe here like this, had it been a beast like Heugo.

At the moment, very little was passing through Rin's head. Not any solid, thoughts, anyway. She wasn't mentally talking with herself of laughing. She was just trying to get through with this situation. Okay, so she'd figured out a few things about this guy; he was physically attractive, apparently did a lot of training, but was a little dense toward her humor. Which, she could also be wrong about, since they'd exchanged very few words at all. Okay, she slipped into her mental world for a second, smiling there, but not on the outside. Having spent very little time around males herself, these games were pretty new to her too. The only reason she didn't look like some dateless, inexperienced geek, as that she helped the princess plot all the time. Ah, the good old days.

Crossing her arms, and flicking two out of her three tails, she glanced away. "Oh, you mean when I do this?" She lifted up one hand and simply snapped. Like so many times before, the water, a ways away from them, shot up into a pillar. Not being targeted, there would now be time for the Kuhna to understand it better. "No, sir, those two act on their own. Just run into them on my rounds from time to time. I just control the water, you see. Safer here then there." She glanced at him from time to time as she spoke, gauging his reactions, if any at all. "Our little monster here may be a good bit larger then that Hydrolisk and have all those tentacles, but Heugo is more openly vicious. Our creature stalks in the depths, until some commotion fires him up." Safe, most of the time then. But ding, ding, ding, ding. Heeellooo? If that wasn't a commotion to draw him out, then what would be?!
