Caine gave her a slight glare. "I am far from foolish, female." He growled a bit, fangs bared, far from jest in this case. "And while you may be the best female here, you are far from the best."

While Kahewai was colorful, she was too shy... The Fairy Paragon was delicate, and not at all like what he would want to bear his pups. Aside from the fact that Paragon and Lucain couldn't breed.

The new Paragon had Caine's attention even before he broke through the treeline. He watched him carefully, his golden markings standing out against his dark pelt as he gained interest. "So you must be gaurdians to the ward." He chuckled deeply.

"Now, now, brute. You don't really think tha-" Midway through some snippish response to Caine, Lysa's words cut short. As quickly as the other Lucain, she had noticed the large, faint shape encroaching on them. Her joking manner was gone in an instant, and her body became tense, the tails unwaving. Her pale face was impassive; the sparkling ocean eyes were flat as glass. She looked very much unlike the Lysandroth that had entered the scene on a Paragon's head, or sang with a demonic Lucain.

But the moment passed in an instant, and Lysa was grinning maliciously. She bounded a few steps in front of the other Lucain, her attention captured wholly by this odd new arrival, and returned his nod with grace. Could he be - what had they called it - a Nago Paragon? The thing that was supposed to be able to "slip by without her noticin'"? How... fun.

At the arrival of Zabimaru, Kahewai gave a single stroke of her wings and was too his side in an instant. Hovering just off the ground beside him, the look in her eyes was reminiscent to that of a young child calling out her big brother on a schoolyard bully. "I have been wanting so badly for you to find us, this-"

Her words were cut short by Dublin, the radioactive male seemed disheartened at having his adventuring cut short. "Aye, we know. How ah'ful of us ta scamper off on ye like 'dat."He said in a slightly mocking tone. This new paragon's politeness was...unnerving. You're only polite to those who are tougher than you or who you find would be an attractive mate. You don't waltz in on a lot like this and start bowing around to every scum of the earth.

Zab did not dwell too long on the nervous Fairy female nearly clinging to his side. Nor did he take more than a few seconds to regard the Sailfin. He would have ample time to learn about them on the journey home. For now it was the strange wolves that had his full attention. "Indeed I am, Sir."

His voice rumbled to Caine, though his eyes followed the almost playfully dangerous movements of Lysa. The pure looking female had anything but a pure aura around her that Zab could feel. He would have to watch his words and actions with these two. "M'Lady."He said towards Lysa more gently.

Hn. He was certainly interesting... This new Paragon. his attention was not fully shifted from the female though, Lysandroth was still his main target. Some part of his mind had certainly taken a liking to her.

Stetching slightly, he smirked as he slunk around and surveyed this new one. He was a bit small... But far more dangerous-looking than the other two. Maybe he could even hide in the shadows, like Caine's own powers... Though his had been granted by the Gods themselves.

Curse? Hah... Hiding in the shadows was a gift.

Lysa was thoroughly enjoying herself, tails weaving back and forth slowly. She sat, her smile unchanging and surprisingly gracious toward the newly-come Nago - although she did cut her eyes at Dublin, finding an approving amusement in his tone. Playful? Oh, she did feel that. Happily for her, this Nago was a new and interesting plaything to the scene. She, personally, was rather pleased to receive him. Not that her pleasure was altogether a good thing...

"My good Lord," the female replied, nodding her head toward the Nago as she she spoke in her best imitation of his dialect. So formal, he was. It only made things more fun. "So, you are the Nago we have heard of. The dweller in thse forests?" Her grin sharpened. "Might you grant us the pleasure of a name?"

Kahewai watched the Lucain, nearly gluing herself to Zabimaru's side. The impressive looking male certainly made her feel safer, what with his calm and formal demeanor. The wolf-like beasts, however, did not seem so deterred. In fact they both seemed to...enjoy his arrival? There was some sickly twisted game forming, she could feel it. Like cats batting around a mouse before devouring it.

Black eyes drifted to Lysa as Dublin felt her eyes grace him. A smirk graced his scaled face. This female certainly was interesting—mocking others accents. There was something very likable he found about her—even if he could not put his claw on exactly what it was. "Ya dun need the name of every lad that prances in here, nah' do ya Lass?" He said in a velvety drawl.

The smaller Nago observed this strange group as he paid no outward attention to the brightly colored female at his side. Coddling her for fear now would only make her worse. The Lucain had him worried; there was something sinister underlying in the nature about the male. The female, however, spoke and he was obligated to answer such a polite question. "I am no dweller of this forest—only born of them. My given calling is Zabimaru, dear Lady."

Hn. The female's attention was diverted... To this new Nago. Maybe he was going to be an interesting character, but then again possibly not. He seemed only interesting taking his charges home, which would leave more time with the Daemon.

Good. A smirk was given, a flash of fangs though few would notice in the shadows that the Lucain slunk into. Dissapeared, he watched from afar with his bright eyes, giving a soft laugh that turned into something from a horror film. Maniacal, truly something that would cause terror.

"I suggest you take your charges home, Zabimaru."

The Sailfin's lilt brought a smile to Lysa's face, an expression that just barely avoided baring teeth. There was something about the bright creature that caught her eye, in a way that she did not entirely understand. But understanding? That was secondary. She felt it. She'd worry about what it was later. "Only of the impressive ones, laddie." She replied, winking at him.

To Zabimaru, she gave a different kind of smile. Still courteous, but with a definite edge: a sharp, budding revelation of the mad Lucain that Zabimaru did not yet know. "Zabimaru? Pleased to meet you. I am Lysandroth." She dipped her head in acknowledgement, hearing Caine's suggestion with a flick of one ear. Homebound? Well, that would ruin the fun... but she would not antagonize this one, she knew. He was... noble, in a sense. Not one to ridicule with a great many games.

Besides. This had so far been an amazing outing, and she was in a wondeful mood.

Kahewai nodded heartily at Caine's suggestion. Home, yes Evelonian Deities, please take her home! She was getting tired of this forest, that horrid Sailfin, and those Lucain. She'd be quite content to never see another Lucain like them for the remainder of her existence, thanks very much. She looked to the Nago, pleadingly. "Yes, please may we go home?"

Dublin had let the other Paragon slip his attention, focus shifted completely to Lysa. "Well Lass, goo'ta know ya find meh inter-estin'."He said with a bit of a wink and a flicker of a rather serpentine tongue. And instantly his flirting session with her was put on hold as he turned to the other Paragon. "Ya go on'a home if ya must—Aye'm staying here."

Zabimaru did not outwardly recoil at Lysa or Caine's rather crooked smiles, though inwardly he was becoming unsettled. These two had auras about them that did not suggest their company would stay friendly for very long. "The pleasure of your acquaintance, dear Lady, is all mine."He drawled softly in regards to Lysa. Lovely name for such a dangerous looking female.

He did little more than dip his head towards Dublin. "Are you sure that is your choice? I make this journey only once and our Keeper will be in ill humor if you do not make an appearance soon. This young lady has spoken her peace—we'll be leaving shortly."

Slinking his way towards Lysandroth this time he hit his mark while she was busy talking to the Paragon. He pounced atop her, giving a nip to her pale ear before laughing again and bounding away.

"You should pay more attention while you are enamored with others!" Smirking he did not slink away this time, turning to face her with a flash of his fangs.

Impatiently, the larger silver paragon fluttered his wings and gazed down to the others. “Night is approaching too quickly for my liking—we must leave now.” He blackened eyes moved comfortingly over to Kahewai, nodding her into the air as he himself rose from the ground.

“May you all find safe traveling ahead of you.” He mused before the two disappeared into the dusk sky.
