The Roraldi Forest... How fun... Niiro thought as the Imperial Ferrikoon sat, perched on a high, thick branch in a tall tree. Just trees, trees, and more trees. Wow. I almost wish that I had stayed back home. He spoke out loud, then, saying, "Wow. I can't believe I just thought that." Of course, why would he have said that...? It didn't make much sense, since there was nothing to do back at the pen. In fact, it was so boring that most of the other pets had already left home and gone on their own adventure. Plus, there was that little creepy Myuu Reaper that kept on predicting everyone's deaths. It was really... scary, actually.

With a sigh, Niiro stayed on the branch, looking around. Maybe there would be someone else in the forest, someone that he could play a prank on...

Cake Kuhna

Sophie wandered around the forest, thinking to her self.

This place is really beautifull.She thought. Then, she bumped into an Imperial Ferrikoon.
"Oh, sorry!"She quickly apologized."Are you okay?"

[Sky]

"Uh huh, yeah, fine," Niiro grinned as he looked down at the Cake Kuhna. Finally, there was someone to talk to. Apparently, he wasn't as alone as he had thought. "Just watch where you're going next time, okay?" Extending a paw, he added quickly, "Oh, by the way, I'm Niiro. And you are...?"

"I'm Sophie. Nice to meet you, Niiro."She said, then looked around at all the trees."Beautifull, isn't it?"

[Sky]

"Nice to meet you, too," Niiro replied politely, with a small nod. He copied her, gazing around at the trees that surrounded them. "Beautiful, hah. I suppose it is, but the forest can get boring really easily." He switched his gaze back to Sophie, then continued, "I didn't think there was anyone else here. I thought the forest was deserted. In fact, you're the first pet I've seen so far..." His curiosity was starting to get the better of him, and he asked, "What brings you here?"

"Oh, my trainer is off doing something, so I just started to wander. Then I bumped into you..." She siad.

[Sky]

"Really? Wow, that's cool." Niiro said. "I left my home; it's wayyy too boring over there, I mean seriously." Silently, he added, Would it honestly kill Sky to liven the place up a bit? Jeez. Smiling, he continued, "Well, anyway. Where do you live, Sophie? I kinda live far from here, not really sure where it is exactly, though..."

"I'm not sure either...I live in a cave with my trainer, Alena. Over there I'm always occupied. I'm act as the mother to one of her other pets, Jacob. He's an imperial Sahound and till a pup."

"Really? Oh, wow, that's interesting." A smile crossed his face again, "Ooh, actually, I'd love to live in a cave! Back at my home, I usually just stay in my trainer's house or outdoors in the forest." He tilted his head to the right, obviously confused. "Does Jacob not have a mother?" As he asked that, he thought of the Voltage Sahound that had lived back at Sky's house. What had been her name...? Oh yeah, it was Flashfire... He thought.

"Well, were sure he has one. But we found him abandoned on the side of the rode. In fact, that's pretty much how I came into Alena's hands.....She's kinda like a.....Rescue for pets." She said sadly.

"Awww..." Niiro muttered to himself quietly, trying to imagine what it would be like to be an orphan. His own parents hadn't really abandoned him, in fact, he had left them to go live with Sky; but he really couldn't imagine not knowing them at all. "At least Alena is doing a good thing, right? I mean, if it weren't for your trainer, then Jacob might still have been living on the streets..." He paused, then asked, "If you don't mind me asking... How did you come to live with Alena?"

"Well, I can't remember much. I just a kit then. But I remember feeling betrayle and not feeling loved. I guess I just ended up in the streets eventually..."She said, then scampered up to a low branch on the neerest tree.

[Sky]

"Oh, well, I am sorry then," Niiro said politely and quietly. "But... I hope that everything has worked out since then...?" The way he had said his statement made it sound more like a question. After he finished speaking, he quickly flew after the Cake Kuhna, landing on a branch above Sophie. Trying to change the subject, he laughed, then asked, "Do you like to climb trees?"

"Well, I'm not the best, but yeah. I love it."She said, then scrambled her way up another brach or two, just level with Niiro.

Niiro nodded. "I don't really climb trees too often." He flapped the wings on his back, then grinned at Sophie. "It's a lot easier when you can just fly." The Imperial Ferrikoon relaxed against the thick trunk of the tree. "I love the view, though."
