Yufa

Darkness, darkness, darkness, light. Darkness, darkness, darkness, light. The small patches of light that shone every once in a while seemed to help Yufa navigate. She was horrible at telling what way to turn in these tunnels. Always got lost. But today, she definitely wouldn't. She was heading out to the far end of the fields to meet with a group...she had no clue why though. She was told to go, and that it was important. Problem was now that she was incredibly late.

She pushed her body forward, fur on both sides brushing the thin tunnel walls as she passed opening after opening, ones in which would lead get her to her destination faster, she realized. Her back end stopped abruptly and she skidded on the soft sandy floor. She'd barely come to a halt when she scrambled sideways in a patch of light. Yes, it was dangerous for her to be out there, but who cares? She was late and she needed to get there fast!

She emerged onto a flat plane - tall grass surrounded her on all sides and the only break in it were the occasional holes in which she passed. Out here, she could run much faster than in the tunnels. She took a deep breath as the warm wind caressed her face. And then she was running, leaping over the many holes she came across. She'd get to the meeting in time, she just knew it now.

Ash heard that a group of people were getting together, and decided to crash the party. She had a very good sense of direction, so it was no problem for her to get there. And it helped that she went to the field practically every day of the summer.

She was panting hard, because she was trying to get there before everyone else. She did. Ash waited there for a while, wondering when everyone was going to get there. She got fairly tired, and felt like she was going to fall asleep standing up. But she wouldn't go to sleep, without knowing when the others were going to be there, and if she could trust them. It seemed like hours before she could 'sense' someone coming. You see, Ash has an ability to sense when people or things were coming.

She felt like this person was somewhat eager to be there, and was also excited.

Nessie was so excited to meet her friends in the field. Where they said they would meet her, for a meeting someone had arranged. She was very hyper untill she felt alot of different emotions going through her, then thought some must be there already. Just like her friend Ash, she had a talent too. Just a different one, she could feel other peoples emotions.That was called empathing. Nessie all of a sudden grew tired. Getting tired all the time was excatly like her infact. So she decided to lay down for a bit, her friends ,she hoped would wait.  Just untill after her nap or they would get worried and find her. Although hopefully they knew her very well.

**To be on record, Kitteh, this is indeed our Nael... just before the whole "dead and in hell" thing xD Everyone's gotta have a background story-- even if it's in the form of a Kunha to match an rp rofl** Whee~ This should be fun

"Whup!"
Pebbles and sand made way as Nael skidded face-first in the dirt for at least a tail-length after his foot had caught on a rock. Blinking, he picked himself up carefully and checked for damage. Swiping a paw over his face, aside from a bit of sand, it seemed clean. His legs looked fine, and so did his paws, but it was hard to tell-- barely any light filtered through these tunnels. A little ways ahead, Nael saw an open spot in the ceiling, sunlight peeking through. He scampered to the hole and hopped up, his claws digging into the surface above and he hoisted the rest of his body out of the tunnels. Nael looked around to figure out where he was, and blinked hard when he realized there wasn't any snow.

The sun beat down on Nael and the open field stretching out endlessly around him. The grass shone with fresh dew that reflected its light, and a single cloud hung in the sky, fluffy and weightless. But how... he'd only been in the tunnels for a few hours, a day maximum. Or... maybe more? Nael didn't get tired really, and the tunnels made it easy to lose track of time. Still-- where did all the snow go? He was only going to check out the mountains and bring back his sister a caribou. Where was the mountain? Everything here was flat. Boring. And no caribous! He couldn't let his sister down. Nael told her he could catch one.

Scunching his nose, he realized that someone had passed through here recently. Someone new. Nael's ears perked up. Maybe a caribou! He had no clue what they smelled like, he just knew he'd never smelt one. And he'd smelled a lot of things. So, put one and one together... here's a smell he doesn't know, and he's never smelt a caribou. Perfect! He found a trail! Smacking his nose to the ground, Nael began following the caribou's scent through the fields like a dog.

He continued along the trail, but the scent got weaker as he trudged on, so he closed his eyes to concentrate better. Eventually, the scent was gone altogether. Was his nose falling off? Did he push it too hard in the ground? Nael squinted his eyes as tightly as he could and strained his senses to re-find the caribou scent. A few minutes more of walking and he found it. He couldn't take the chance of losing it again, so Nael ran as fast as he could to keep up with the caribou. He's quick.

Nael landed flat on his face again before realizing that he'd hit fur. Scrambling out of his tangled mess, he leapt up to his feet, tails perked on alert to find the caribou he'd just tripped on. He didn't know he was fast enough to keep up with a caribou. Tezza would be impressed. Below him, however, wasn't what he'd expected to find. Now that he thought about it, this new scent was different from the other new scent he'd originally gone after. Nael cocked his head to the side and stared down at the sleeping kunha in the grass.

"You're not a caribou."

    Honradaz was running, hoping to get there on time. He hoped they wouldn't think him a nuisance. He was always late for things like this. It was so annoying! No matter what, he was always late. It was too bad he didn't have Nael's speed, or well, Ash's ability to sense people when their coming. Or Nessie's ability to sense others emotions. He was just ordinary, as far as was concerned. Honradaz finally made it to the clearing, and saw who must be Ash already there, attentive at who else was coming, so she didn't realize Honradaz right behind her. "Boo! You must be Ash! Hi! I'm Honradaz! It means honesty. Woa! Am I really the second one here? Wow! That's like the first time since ever!" Honradaz was so excited that he could barely stand still.

Yufa pushed her legs forward, her muscles harder, and her breathing faster. She wanted so desperately to get there on time. She had to be there by the time the sun was at it's highest point in the sky, or else everyone would leave her behind. And she couldn't have that happen. She dug her claws deep into the soil and flung herself forward.

As she landed, she realized that it wasn't ground. Something furry was below her and by the time she realized this, it was too late. She plowed the poor creature over. Her face planted hard in the dirt and her back end went over her head. Whatever she'd tackled had done pretty much the same thing. She jumped to her feet, shaking her head, tails puffed out in alarm

"Sorry 'bout that!" she cried, taking a good look at the flattened creature. It lifted it's head and gazed in her direction, eyes clouded in confusion. It was a hydrokuhna. They were made completely out of water. Well, this one was now dirt covered. Yufa helped the startled creature up and made sure it was okay.

Tezza sighed, trotting along the open field. She could smell her brother's scent very easily from here. She sighed in annoyance. He was always like this. Running off, worrying his sister. He said he'd go find her a caribou, but she hadn't taken him seriously until he had been gone for a good day. At that point she'd gotten worried.

She'd left their home in search for her brother and found that following his trail was quite easy. When she found that it led strait to a long set of tunnels, she sighed in frustration. He'd probably gotten lost or something. But she followed his trail for the next day or so and found that it led outside again. When she popped her head out, she was shocked. There were no more mountains!

She had pulled herself out only to be knocked over by something heavy. "Hey!" she cried out as she hit the ground. The creature scrambled to it's feet and glanced in her direction, a worried look crossing it's now dirty face.

"Sorry 'bout that!" it said, dashing over to help Tezza up. This other creature was female. She also couldn't identify the species other than the fact that it was some sort of kuhna like herself. She glared at the other kuhna, expecting more to come from it's mouth, but nothing followed. So instead, she took the opportunity to ask about her brother.

"Have you seen a Kuhna around here? Looks a lot like me, male, probably has tens of thousands of scratches all over?"

The other kuhna tilted her head. "No...but I'm headed towards a meeting for other kuhnas...maybe he's there. Why don't you come with me?" the other kuhna said. I nodded and followed her.

[Rain]

"Boo! You must be Ash! Hi! I'm Honradaz! It means honesty. Woa! Am I really the second one here? Wow! That's like the first time since ever!" Someone said, startling Ash. She spun around, only a Kuhna, and started to relax when she sensed she was just here, to be apart of the group thingy/meting. "You know where everyone else is?" She asked, in a not-so-civilized way. But she didn't care. She was starting to get impatient waiting for everyone.

Sooner then later, she started yo feel that others were on their way, one of them, looking for something to eat, an other one following him to see if he's safe, and one thats just coming, and an other one who was just excited.

She turned around to the Kuhna called Honradaz, waiting for the answer to her question.

Nessie could feel something around her. She opened her eyes as if a first born would , then saw another Kuhna. However she wasn't frightened by them. She felt it even before she saw it. So that made her feel comfortable. At least just a bit. She got up, backed up and yawned. Then decided to say " I hope i'm not  a caribou." Then laughed at her inside joke. " I hear your looking for a caribou however I sense someones looking for you. I think you should come with me." Suggested Nessie to the other Kuhna. "Will you come with me please?" but before the kuhna could answer she took off in a second, however the other Kuhna could probly run faster then her and would be able to catch up in no time which was good. Running was one of  Nessie's weakness's. She still contiued to run to the meeting area where her friends should be though.

*15 Minutes later*

It wasn't that far probly about 10 min's away. Then when she was there she reconized some faces.
"Hey." Nessie said.

Nael stared at the sleepy-looking Kuhna as she chuckled to herself at some odd inside joke. Someone was looking for him? Gah, did Tezza start to worry about him? Nael sighed. She did that too much. He was perfectly capable of taking care of himself. That was part of the whole reason why he wanted to catch her a caribou-- to prove to her that he can handle things on his own. Looking up, he realized Sleepy-kuhna was running off, and she'd told him he wanted her to follow. Maybe she knew where to find a caribou. Ducking his head, Nael pumped his leg muscles hard to catch up with Sleepy-kuhna.

After minutes of running and a miracle of zero wipeouts so far, Nael began to scent some kuhnas up ahead. A few more minutes, and a clearing came into sight, occupied by some dark-pelted kuhna and...

"Dazz! What're you doing here? I haven't seen you in forever! When you left the mountains, me and Tezz never thought we'd get to see you again!" Nael scampered up to the cream-coloured kuhna and skidded to a jerking stop right in front of his face. "Where are we anyways? I was just trying to go up to that giant mountain pretty close to our den-- you know the one-- to get Tezz a caribou, and then BAM! I was right smack in the middle of nowhere! Those tunnels are crazy, I'm telling you. They do magic to your head." Nael nodded to himself. "And who're you?" he blinked at Dark-kuhna beside Honradaz.

**Sorry if Dazz's part was kinda Godmoding... >.> If I need to change it, lemme know. Hope the nickname's okay x3 Btw how did my clumsy and akward Nael go to mister Superspeed? xD Lol not that I'm complaining**

*Azure, I thought somewhere in your post, it said Nael was fast. Huh. I must have read it wrong."

   "Sorry, I didn't know any one else was coming." Honradaz replied. He heard rapid paw steps, and turned to see a white-and-seizure-worthy-colored Kuhna and Nael coming towards him and Ash. "Dazz! What're you doing here? I haven't seen in forever! When you left the mountains, me and Tezz thought we'd never see you again! Where are we anyways? I was just trying to go up to that giant mountain pretty close to our den-- you know the one-- to get Tezz a caribou, and then BAM! I was right smack in the middle of nowhere! Those tunnels are crazy, I'm telling you. They do magic to your head." Nael skidded to a stop right in front of Honradaz. "I was here, in the Vast Plains. Do you know who else is coming, Nael?" he asked. Honradaz started to pace, hoping everybody else would show up soon. "When is everybody else coming" he asked impatiently.

Okay, sorry it took me song long. Was busy and then procrastinated. I'll try not to do that anymore. Also, I'm putting the picture up for my two Kuhnas every time now 'cause I have two and it might get confusing if I don't.


Yufa stretched her legs forward as she increased her speed. Wind batted at her face and the soft grass beneath her pads made her feel as though she were walking on clouds. She smiled, thinking of the freedom of the open grasslands. She could run as fast and as far as she wanted to, unlike the small cramped tunnels. With those, you couldn't even tell where you were going!

And then she remembered the small blue creature following her. She made to slow her pace, but as soon as she did this, the blue thing shot past her. It actually went so quickly that she felt the smack of wind as it past. She blinked and picked up her pace again. Wow, this thing was fast! As she caught up again, she called towards it.

"You're pretty quick!"

"Yeah. It's kinda part of the family. Hydro's tend to run fast." she called back, and Yufa nodded. That made sense. Thought she'd heard that somewhere. "You're fast too!"

"I like to run. I've been running since I could stand. Went past the walking stage, right into running!"
This girl seemed nice. Yufa smiled, thinking they could get along well enough, maybe become friends.

Tezza smiled as she dashed past the fiery Kuhna. She was much faster than it, and could still move even quicker if she wanted to. But that would be unfair, and probably not a good idea either, since this Kuhna was telling her where to go. But the creature did catch up and they started a conversation on speed as they ran. This lasted all of ten seconds before the two Kuhnas fell into silence and their thoughts, letting the wind itself be company enough.

Soon Tezza could hear some sort of commotion up ahead and as small shapes came into sight, the dark Kuhna beside her sped up and past her. Tezza pumped her legs faster and passed the other again. Just behind her, she heard an oof and all of a sudden, something smacked into her back end. Her feet tangled and she went sprawling forward into the four other Kuhnas, followed by the dark kuhna who ended up landing on top of her.

She shoved the creature off of her and pushed herself to her feet, glancing around. Finally, she met the eyes of her brother and she sighed in relief. "There you are!" she cried.

((I'm getting confused of all the 'dark creatures' bumping into each other, and not knowing which on is which!!))

The others started coming soon. The closer they came, the more she could feel their presence. Two had fell, she could feel that, an other was relieved to know someone- a sibling maybe- was here and not lost.... and someone else too.

I noticed nobody was paying attention to me, therefore didn't answer me.A few minutes I went flying backwards.It didn't take time to relize that I was laying flat on the ground, I mean really flat. My belly was on the ground. I was like a pancake, It hurt somewhat but I didn't bother getting up. Instead I relocated my leg's in a curl up position instead.Then I went out like a light, the running had made me tired and I had grown to know that this would be the only time I woulod get some decent sleep. Beside's It was like I was invisable to everyone anyway's.

Nael looked over at Dazz. "Everyone who? What's going on? Is there a party?" he blinked, "And wha--" All the air in Nael's lungs was puffed out at the sudden weight of two kuhnas on top of him. It took Nael a few heartbeats to regather his bearings. Finally he squirmed himself around underneath the two bodies to meet eye-to-eye with Tezz. "There you are!" she cried.
"Tezz?! Why-- but... caribou... can't breathe--" Nael wheezed.

``Is this everyone? Can we go now? Anyway.... Where are we actually going?`` Honradaz was starting to get annoyed. There was to much commotion! It was starting to get loud, and he started to get a headache. If only it was quiet for once. But he couldn't`t really complain,  they could kick him out of the group, or worse... mark him for life, thus making him someone really unpopular. Trust me, they could do it. He oly had to work on being polite, nice and compassionate. Wow. That was going to be hard.
