Ilex looked around the Vast Plains. He was confused. The little Neuleef couldn't see his friends anywhere!

Wilo

The Wood Rogue was on his knee's, scratching at the ground. He thought he had seen something crawl into a crack. He smiled widely as he tried to dig it up. Not realizing that he had wondered some way away from his friends. He would never acknowledge that he was away, but would eventually wonder back. But for now he was interested in whatever had hid in this crack.

[Jessari]

Ilex shivered, but not because he was afraid. The wind here was very strong, and he was so very small. A big gust lifted him off his tiny little feet, and blew him into the air. He struck against something, and clung to it with his little hands. When the wind eased up, he looked down to see he was clinging to a Wood Rogue's head!



Ilex: 2/65

Wilo had been minding his own business when there was a flash of green. Next thing he realized he couldn't see, no matter how many times he blinked. He started to flail around, freaking out that he couldn't see.
"I can't see! I can't see!" He shouted, running around in circles.

[Jessari]

The Neuleef only clung tighter as the Wood Rogue spun around in circles, trying to keep from being thrown off. His body, tethered to the Wood Rogue only by his hands, flapped up and down against Wilo's face. A series of giggles began to pour from him as he got dizzier and dizzier. He had no idea who this funny Wood Rogue was, but this was fun!

Wilo stopped at the sound of giggles, he stood there looking around blindly. He put his finger to his mouth, wondering what it was.
"Hello? Is someone there?" He asked.
He looked left then right, turning his head quickly in each direction.

[Jessari]

When Wilo finally stopped spinning, Ilex found himself to be quite dizzy. His hands lost their grip, and he squeaked as he fell...right onto Wilo's raised hand. He sat there for a moment, eyes rolling and tongue lolling out of his mouth as he tried to, well, undizzy himself. When his eyes finally decided to refocus, he answered Milo in a squeaky voice. "I'm Ilex!" he fairly shouted. "What are you?"

Wilo looked down and seemed to flinch lightly at the Neuleef. He hadn't been expecting to see one out here. He leaned in and looked him over closely.
"Your a Neuleef!" He said, smiling widely.
He chuckled then looked to him serious, realizing he had asked a question.
"I am a Wood Rogue, but I once looked something like you." He replied, remembering those days. "My name is Wilo!" He shouted, holding out his other hand for him to take.

[Jessari]

((Awww, they're so cute! Like two toddlers meeting for the first time or something. X3 ))

"Wilo!" the Neuleef giggled, seeming to like the sound of the name. "Wilowilowilowilo!" He took the Wood Rogue's offered hand, seemingly unafraid of the large claws. Then he scrambled up Wilo's arm to sit on his shoulder. His weight was equal to that of any normal leaf. "What'cha doin' here, Wilowilo?"

Wilo chuckled as the leaf sat on his shoulder. He held his hand to him, allowing him to hold onto his finger if he wanted.
"I was just wondering around, what about you?" He asked.
He felt like a giant with him sitting on his shoulder. It was a little weird for him.

[Jessari]

It apparently didn't seem too weird to the Neuleef. That goofy grin seemed to be permanently stuck to his face. The Thorn Thief didn't look to scary to him. Scary was a two-legger swinging a rake in his direction, or -horror of horrors- a leaf blower! "I didn't want to come here," Ilex said, his grin drooping just a smidge. "I was climbing a really tall tree when the wind blew me away. I don't know where my friends are now." He paused for just a moment. Would his friends be okay without him? He certainly hoped so. But his worry didn't last long. Bouncing on Wilo's shoulder, he cried, "D'ya wanna be my friend? You look to big to get blown away!"



Ilex: 6/65

Wilo frowned slightly, he had remembered how hard it was when he was a leaf. But he cheered up when the Neuleef ask if he wanted to be friend. Wilo nodded fiercely, his whole body shaking.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes!" He shouted. "I would love another friend."
He seemed to jump in joy, he loved friends. He clapped his hands, just thinking of a good idea.
"How about I get you back home? I can't blow away." He said, excited to help.

[Jessari]

From the energetic way the Neuleef shook and flapped his hands about, he must certainly have loved that idea. His words confirmed it. "You're so smart, Wilowilo! That's a great idea!And when we find 'em, I can tell you all their names! None of them are as big as you, though." He blinked his wide, white eyes as a look of concentration crinkled his features. "Will I get to be big as you when I get old?"

Wilo had a skip to his step now, having a reason to travel on. He couldn't wait to see Ilex's friends. He bet it would be really fun! He blinked questioningly as the Neuleef asked if he would grow as big as him. He tilted his head and he thought about it.
"Well, you have to go through a hospital and get treated on." He said, as if it wasn't no big deal.

[Jessari]

Ilex bounced a little at every step Wilo took, humming happily in a way that made him sound like a tiny bee. "A hospital?" he asked, watching the ground go by very quickly. If he'd had a nose, he would have wrinkled it. "I've never been in one of those. I bet its smelly, 'cause of all the two-legger humans, huh?"

Ilex didn't really know much about two-legger humans, except they never watched where they stepped. If he hadn't been watching out for them, his friends would have gotten stepped on many times in the past. Maybe he should go to the hospital and get treated. Then he'd be bigger and be able to protect his friends better.
