Hatter Madigan noticed the Nyghtmare... she seemed distant and wanting to feel and be what she once was. He wanted to comfort her, maybe do a bit of magic so she could feel, but he decided against it. The first rule of magic: NEVER ever use it on any living Evelon pet. It has odd effects on them. Rena's loud and angry sounding voice rang in his long floppy ears. Suddenly Homberg Molly was flying over the hill towards the tree she was aiming at just minutes ago and plucked a small acorn seed from a long, twirling branch. She was speeding back when one paw became caught in small hole in the ground. Suddenly she was flying though the air, her face and foot twisted with pain. The sound of bone cracking echoed through the hills, and Hatter whipped his wand towards her. "Levitis!" he yelled, and a whoosh of air stopped Molly from falling, and she was just hovering a few feet from the ground. Madigan lowered her gently and rushed to her side, looking at her foot, now curled in an unnatural way. Molly's eyes streamed with tears. "It huuuuurrrrrrrrtttttttsssssss..." she moaned, and made to grab her paw. Hatter Madigan held her down, and pointed his black and white wand at her foot. "Fix the foot of the Meji of the Hollows." he whispered, and a curl of blue magic worked it's way out of the tip of the wand, easing it's way into Molly's disfigured foot. Slowly, her foot straightened and you could hear the smallest scrape of bone against bone as it slowly mended. Molly's face went from distorted to calm as the magic healed the badly broken foot. "Ahhh..." she sighed, and the blue magic suddenly flashed from her foot back into the ebony and ivory wand. She propped herself up slowly, smiling. "Thank you, Madigan." she said. Her soft smile made Madigan's heart melt. Even though there was an age differance, Madigan's heart didn't seem to care. His love for her came by the bucketfuls. But he wouldn't admit it. Yet.
"I got you that acorn, Hatter." she said softly, and held the acorn up to his face so he could take it. He reached for it and took it, then dropped it into his pocket. "Get up first, I would like to see if I healed it properly." he said sternly, the affection draining from his eyes, replaced with concern. She sat up, and a bit reluctantly got to her feet. At first she put no weight on it, then slowly leaned on it. As she did, she felt no pain. "Perfect." she said sweetly, and hugged him like a daugher would her father. He gently wrapped his arms around her, then pushed her slowly away so he could perform the spell. He pulled the shiny acorn out of his pocket and dug a shallow dip in the ground, throwing the acorn into it. "Okay, stand back," he said, and backed up a good 20 feet. He brought up his wand and whispered, "Grow, seed grow, into that tree I want to know." Suddenly the ground shook, and a small crack in the ground formed. A sapling sprung out of it, gnarled roots waving up and down through the ground. The trunk thickened, and the branches spread across the sky. The rumbling subsided, and a huge oak stood where Molly and Hatter had only moments ago. Molly's eyes smiled as her jaw dropped in awe. Even though she'd seen it several times, it still brought joy and wonder to her mind, and her eyes swirled with the amazement of magic and all it's wonders.

About you and me: it's plain to see,
We only ever want to stay inside and watch TV,
Because that's just as good a memory,
You're just good company,
And I am finally accepting that.
Remember the time when we stole the whole day?
And nobody knows it, we took it away,
And it will be forever mine,
And it will be forever yours
Now we own the night, and it can't be undone,
We'll never forget how it feels to be young,
Cos it will be forever mine,
And it will be forever yours.
