:. Johnson-sama no Densetsu (Or: The Mist Is a Baka)

Postby Jaykobell » 08/11/2018 7:16 PM

All was peaceful in this new brand new unnamed town The Plot had come up with. Actually, maybe that was a lie: The Plot hadn't come up with much of anything. But the ratings said this needed a new story, and so they wanted to try something new. A sort of spin-off. They expected all the fans to be excited about it all.

After all, how could they not be? This fantastic story involved the one and only Johnson Smith.

It began as any good story would. Everything was peaceful: until everything was not quite so peaceful. It came as a shock to the little village, who were so generic that they had never experienced any sort of disturbance in their lives. Now, faced with a problem, they felt trapped, with no way out. Truly, this was the definition of being "trapped".

It was a strange mist. It appeared out of nowhere one day. It looked very scary.

No one knew what to make of it, because again, they had never experienced anything like this. Did they even have a mayor, or anyone in power to handle the disaster? Not even the villagers knew, because it honestly wasn't relevant to the plot. At least, not at that very moment. If the story felt like it needed a mayor, it would come up with one.

But for now, it needed an actual story about a dark, scary mist that was scaring people.

"Oh, no!" a random villager exclaimed upon looking over the mist. Their gender nor appearance were irrelevant because they only needed to speak exposition, along with Random Villager number three hundred and eighty-six. "What should we do with this mist that appeared so suddenly?" they asked with despair.

"We're doomed!" Random Villager number three hundred and eighty-six exclaimed. "No one here is a main character! How are we going to survive this?" Their town didn't even have a name. All hope was lost.

These simple words sent the whole village into a panic. Even those in their houses who possibly could not have heard these villagers, had heard them. Such was how The Plot had dictated it. And so therefore, a state of panic was declared in the whole village, with screams aplenty. Woe were they: who would save them from this mist that had actually not done anything harmful at all besides looking a little bit scary?

Someone did think about starting a All Mist Lives Matter movement.

But they wouldn't need to. Because, in the distance, it appeared: a shape that looked grander than life itself. A form that spawned kilometers, looking absolutely fantastical despite no one being able to work out any details about whoever was coming their way. Somehow, the thought that they might be a villain didn't even cross their minds. The villagers were that scared of the mist. Even a villain might be able to save them.

But no, it was no villain. No: it was...!!

... Johnson Smith-sama!!

The Kuhna rode on his motorcycle, Betty-chan. He looked very cool while doing it. Few people or pets were as sugoi as Johnson Smith. He had a reputation. And maybe one day, he would finally win the heart of his one true love and soulmate: Sakura-chan. That was still a work in progress. The season was only a few episodes in. It was hard to say if Johnson Smith would be victorious.

But this wasn't about that at all!

It was about Johnson Smith having been called here, to this unknown village created solely for plot convenience and exposition. It was for Johnson Smith to be a hero once again, a concept not unfamiliar to him, as he put the most famous of stories and animes to shame with his amazing awesomeness. Very few could resist Johnson Smith, after all.

He rode to a powerful song in the background, a power attributed only to main characters: and that was Johnson Smith.

The camera paned around Johnson Smith, as it would, to emphasize how cool he was, because words or his own Wikipedia page just wasn't enough to convey that feeling. It always needed to confirmed that he was super cool. How else were random characters supposed to know at any given moment, after all?

He sported really cool sunglasses and a leather jacket, because that was what cool Kuhnas wore. It was a rule. It was also ironic because Johnson Smith loved breaking the rules.

Rules didn't stand a chance against Johnson Smith. Johnson Smith made the rules. Johnson Smith was the rules. And because he was a main character, he was entitled to do anything he wanted, because he was also a perfect character who didn't even need character development. He was that sugoi and kawai: the epitome of everything in this life.

He rode along the dirt path. Those in the distance were expecting him. He was needed to save the day once again.

He hadn't even arrived yet that The Plot had felt it necessary to announce his arrival. Even more than before, where it had showed Johnson's magnificent shape in the distance. He shone like the sun. He blinded those who looked on.

They put their hands over their face. He was too fantastic for the mere common of mortals in this world. Truly a product of main character material, untouchable by those who had tainted or evil hearts.

When he arrived, his entrance was grandiose. He swerved smoothly on the hard surface, not even the rocks or sand being capable of ruining his entrance. He was too grand for such small things. Betty, too, was shrouded in main character material, making her the best motorcycle available in the world.

"Ohayo, mina-san!" Johnson greeted once Betty's engine had calmed down to but a faint whirling of her engine. Together, they were bigger than life. Those villagers stared in awe.

Gasps were uttered. One random villager in the back fainted. Another one had to fan themselves to avoid doing the same. Johnson Smith-sama had graced their unnamed village with his presence. Now that he was here, they had nothing to fear! Johnson Smith would save them all in the blink of an eye. Amazing as he was, he would probably have time for a filler somewhere in there, too!

"J..." one villager muttered before screaming, "K-kyaaa, Johnson-sama!"

"B-baka!" another villager said, grabbing the other by the shoulder. No one knew their gender nor their names, because it didn't matter, since they were only here to provide empty material to make it seem like The Plot was going somewhere. "Y-you think you can just address Johnson-sama like that so casually?!"

Gasps erupted throughout the crowd, which kept changing in size. Because who knew what was really happening? "Y... You're right!" the villager admitted. "G-gomen!" Oh, how foolish they had been!

As the cries of anguish and terror erupted through the crowd, Johnson Smith raised a paw to the sky. "Oi, don't worry!" he assured the crowd, who were now terrified Johnson Smith would be leaving them for a better town who knew how to treat a main character. After all, what sort of background character dared to get familiar with a main character?

"I am Johnson Smith," Johnson announced. "I will help you! For I am justice!"
