She walked over to the rest of the group, and started to make a fire. You could say that she had a special 'trick' for starting fires. After she finished, a roaring fire greeted everyone.
Sera saw Suli and Sandra stop, and wondered why. Seeing Mattina bend over a pile of sticks, she realized it was time for dinner. At last. She had been running for a while now, and had really worked up an appetite. "So, what's for dinner?" she asked, running back to the rest. "Tina, what'd you bring?"
Mattina sighed. She didn't like her sister's nickname for her. But she tolerated it. Like everything else. Rummaging among her bags, she wondered when they would finish crossing the plains.
