Flowing Light rolled her eyes. "But you're obviously too old (and dumb) to know the new, different form of weird-bad. Un-welcomed." She took a sniff of the air. "Speaking of a kettle of fish-what is that smell!?...Oh, wait...that's Uluru."

Lionkit laughed. "Good to know that you two are okay." She glanced at Zuko. "Nice to meet you, Zuko! My name is Lionkit."

Flowing faced Zuko. "Flowing Light. You can call me Flow, or Flowing. But I prefer Flowing Light.

"Ok, Flowing Light, Lionkit," Zuko nodded to each in turn. "Hey, do you want to go explore with me?" Zuko said hopefully.

"Sure!" Lionkit chirped.

"Yeah. We might find the Darks kid." Flowing Light nodded.

"Hey! Kata-Tjuta!" Lionkit called. "Do you want to come with? You can be the advise giver, and our 'don't do that you'll die!!!!' person! You know! The smart-icus one!" Lionkit blinked. "Flowing is the strong one, Zuko can be the nice guy that tries to stop Flow from getting herself killed..."

"And you?" Flowing asked.

"I'll be the money-wise person! Like an accountant!"

Flow smirked and leaned over to Zukos ear. "Lionkit's, like, the hater of all math-kind. But trust me-she's the best money-keeper (that's what I call accountants) you'll ever find-even though she's a math failure."

Zuko laughed to himself. "Well, let's go!" Zuko began to bound off in the opposite direction, not exactly knowing where he was going. "Maybe we'll even find a Wombear or something'!" He looked back at the others. "Let's go!"

"Hold on!" Flowing Light said before climbing into the ditch, grabbed Uluru by its scruff and began to drag him around. She wanted to say, "For and old, fat, it you sure are lite." but something stopped her. Because she realized something.

*begin flash back*

Little Flowing Light stared at the bloody, morbid corpses of her parents. "Why, did you do that!? They didn't do anything to you!"

The murder (that was a certain Dark) snarled. "Becuase of everything! Everything they do is wrong!"

"But they loved me! And I loved them!"

A hand swiped at her, knocking her away from the Dark about five feet away. "Who could love a thing like you?" He growled. "I don't even think they love you. If they did, their probably the last people on Evelon to love you. All in all, no one will ever love you."

*end of flash back*

Flowing blinked at them. I've been so blind... She thought.

"Oray! Leth'sh jo!

"Translation: 'Okay! Let's go!'" Lionkit squealed.

"Right!" Zuko said, as he randomly started climbing a tree. "I'm gonna get a better view of the land!" he called from in the branches. He scanned the area, looking for anything that might be interesting. Suddenly, he said, "Hey! I think I see something!" Zuko dashed out of the tree and headed to where he had indicated.

"Comin'!" Lionkit turned into her golden kit/Lioness cub for and ran with him.

Flowing blinked at the two, lifted her head as high as it could go so Ulurus paws wouldn't drag on the ground and ran over to the two.

"What is it? What is it???" She asked Zuko before doing a little hop before going back to running.

"I thought I saw someone running in the distance! Who knows, it could be the Dark's kid!" Zuko scurried with unnatural speed, as he had the Sandskimmer ability, toward where he saw the shape. "Hey! You there! Come back!" he called to the figure in the distance.

Grey Dark jumped when he heard Zuko. He looked at his father that looked blurry. They're going to kill me next! Too bad he was too slow, the group had already caught up to him.

"Hello!" Lionkit turned into human form and waved.

Grey shivered stared at Uluru. His he a victim? Grey Dark wasn't proud of his lineage, and he didn't see any reasons to kill off the Lights like his father was planning to do. Grey's father had not succeeded yet, but the Light family was obviously coming close to extinction.

Flowing tossed Uluru to Lionkit. "Are you a Dark?"

Grey paused for a minute-he was the worst liar in the world. And even if he was a good lair he would probably say the truth in just a flash without thinking about it. "Y-Yes..."

"So...you're that Darks son, right?"

Grey nodded. "Please don't kill me!"

Lionkit stepped forward, cradling Uluru. "Of course not." She laid a hand on his hand, calming him down.

"Oh, hi!" Zuko said as he approached Grey Dark. "My name's Zuko! What's yours?" Zuko noticed that Grey was shivering with fright. "Hey, we didn't mean to scare you," Zuko said, suddenly more serious. "I'm, err, sorry about what happened to your dad..."

Grey Dark looked mournfully at his father. "I...suppose he deserved it..." Grey sighed before looking at Zuko. "My name is Grey Dark. But please call me Grey. I'm not to proud of my family."

Darks and Lights were different in every way-Flowing Light wanted to be called Flowing Light all the time because she was proud of her name, Grey Dark wanted to be call Grey because he hated his family name.

"I'm Flowing Light." Flowing nodded her head. "You can call me Flowing, or Flow. But I prefer Flowing Light."

"Oh, so you're Light, huh?" Grey shuddered. "Thank the goodness you're alive! I hate seeing dead things..."

Lionkit quickly broke in. "You can call me Lionkit."

"Lionkit, eh? That's such a pretty name!" He prayed that no one had noticed the way he sounded, all flirty and all that.

Lionkit looked down at Uluru. "And this is Uluru Kata-Tjuta, but call him Kata-Tjuta because you two doesn't know each other well." She stared at Ulurus belly and poked it with her finger. "Beep! She squealed.

"She always does that." She told Zuko and Grey.

"I think that's wonderful." Grey muttered.

"Err," Zuko said, just a tad disturbed at Lionkit poking Urulu, but he quickly got over it. "So, anyway, how'd you like to travel with us? If you don't want to go back to your Clan, you can come with us! Right, guys?"

Grey wasn't all that sure he going back to his Clan was going to be great. Everyday moonshine was made and drunk there, it wasn't a good place for a kid like him. Dangerous. Very, very, dangerous for him. But still, he wasn't sure if Flowing Light would accept him, sense she was a Light and he was a Dark. "I'll think about it." He said, but his tone made it sound like he was really saying yes.

"Okay. I guess we keep on going?" Flowing Light said with a slight nod.

"Well, ok, I guess. But if you change your mind, you're free to come with us!" Said Zuko. He slowly began to walk off, and then looked back, as if reluctant to leave without Grey.

Flowing Light frowned at Grey, her face dissapointed and trotted over to Zuko, with Lionkit following her, Uluru in arms.

"Um...you know what, maybe I will come..." He said before catching up with them.

"Yay!" Lionkit squealed-she would've skipped if Uluru had not been there.

Flowing patted him on the back. "Welcome to the team, buddy."

Buddy...

Oh, how many years Grey had longed to hear those words...
