Blossom

Blossom flew through the air. This was her first time without her brother, Burn, being there to boss her around. The wind touched her feathers and she felt like there was nothing in the world but her. She landed softly and elegantly on the dark green grass of the plains and folded in her wings. This would be funnest time she would ever have in her life. She could do anything she wanted. Talk to anyone she wanted. Go anywhere she wanted. Being without a brother was the best thing that ever happened to her.

She rested on the grass for a long time. Grooming her wings and fluffing her feathers. She hoped to see someone in the distance, she never realized that being alone could be so dull yet so fun. She sighed and spread her wings out again and got ready to fly. She was tired of being alone. She never thought she would be.

"must keep moving need to get stronger"cheeta yelled as he ran through the tall grass "must avoid thorn bushes" . suddenly "yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh"cheeta screamed as he pulled thorns out of his paw .not watching where he was going cheeta bumped into something he bared his teeth.

Purine Sheilupe

Volta wandered around in the tall grass.  She knew leaving home was also helping her leave the pain of her family's death.  Still, what was she to do? She didn't know anyone out here and the fact that didn't know how to make new friends was troubling.    Suddenly she stoped still.  She had heard something.  Something like a yell.  She made the the ethereal ribbons around her body flatten out and harden to become a sheild.  She had been practicing this and now could easily do it without any trouble.  Slowly she backed away trying to figure out where the yell had come from.  Unexpectedly, she bumped into something.  She jumped and turned around to see what it was.

Blossom stopped midflight at the sound of the scream. What was that? She thought to herself. She decided not to go and investigate, it could be a Beast like the stories her mother used to tell her when she was young. She landed, the grass poking her talons. She liked that feeling, it relaxed her. She knew that was strange, but she never let that stop her from enjoying it.

Purine Sheilupe

As volta walked closer and closer her heart felt like it was thumping so fast that she started to feel a little scared.  She stopped and thought about what she was about to do.  Go and meet this creature or walk away. She started running as fast as she could just to get it over with.

She finally stopped to catch her breath.  She felt like she had insulted the Shielupe race.  She got scared! Thats abnormal for a shielupe.  She felt she had done wrong running away like that.  Too ashamed she  tried to fall asleep in the grass.

Unfourtunatly, like all times she tries to fall asleep Volta started thinking of her familys death.  It was just soo awful that she couldn't stop the horrible memories coming back to her.  She didn't have enough strength.  Volta finally opened her eyes to stop the flashback.  She got up and started to walk away.

Volta started to walk away leaving another place.  Maybe once she got braver she could make friends one day.  Not now though, this place just wasn't right.  She was too tired to wait for anything to happen.  Maybe she could go somewhere nice with a beach or a meadow.  Something that gave her happier thoughts.  Suddenly she stopped dead in her tracks.  If only someone would stop her from leaving.  Maybe then she would stay....

Dare
Shadow

Shadow and Dare raced along together, their bodies stretched out to their fullest. ah, the vast plains. Shadow thought to herself as they thundered along, going at near-impossible speed for any normal animal. She let out a loud nicker and put on a burst of speed. Dare narrowed his eyes, focussing on shadow. He snaked his neck up to her flank, and nipped it. Shadow let out a squeel that could be heard for miles. she turned on Dare and reared up, crossing her front legs on challenge. Dare skidded, nearly ramming into her. His eyes flashed. he lowered his head, and charged at shadow, knocking her over. shadow landed with a thud. she got up again and dashed at Dare. He sidestepped her, and she thundered past. turning around, she charged again, turning ever so slightly. Dare tried to sidestep her again, but at the last instant, she turned and reared up, catching Dare underneath her. Dare scrambled out from under her just as she landed. He didn't get out quick enough, though, for Shadow caught his tail with her front hoof. Dares mane Flared. He stood up on his back legs, trumpetting a challenge. Shadow rose up to meet him, and they fought ferociously. Shadow nicked Dare on his ear, and he in turn battered her chest. they battled for a while. finally Dare put on his last burst of strength, and bit Shadow hard on her neck. Shadow fell to the ground, bleeding. She got up, panting. "Lets not fight anymore." She winnied to Dare. He nodded his head, to tired to speak.

Volta's ears flicked when she heard the sharp noise of a squeel.  What is that?! She wondered, searching around her.  She concentrated on the rings that wrapped her body and turned them into hard steel...just in case.  Volta was about to keep walking when she spotted two...horses?  One possesed the flame main and tail and you could see his ribs against his grey skin .  The other looked more feminin and was the colour of jet black.  Volta's jaw dropped at the sight of their brutal fight.  She found herself running towards the violent scene, she couldn't just stand there and watch them fight to the death, her fearlessness wouldn't let it.  She stopped midway in her tracks only to let out a sigh of relief to discover that they had finished their grapple.  Volta's eyes widened when she relized that she was in perfect range of their view.  What if they see me? she paniced.  She wasn't afraid of them it was just that she had already planned to leave and if they saw her, she could be delayed.  Something told her that in her best intrest, it might be best to find some companions.  What if these creatures arn't friendly? she reasoned with herself and began to awkwardly walk away.

Thailia spread her wings and began to fly, the wind between her wings was one of the most favourite things about flying.Suddenly there was a loud scream, she panicked for a moment and nearly lost concentration,but imeaditly flew up again before her feet could touch the ground.She thought to herself What has happened?

Dare still stood, trying to regain his strength. he heard something walk towards them, and looked in that direction. Shadow saw him turn his head, and she did the same. they both a creamy white sheilupe in what seemed to be an egg-like blue-ish defense shield. Dare saw it start walk away, and he jumped in front of it. Shadow dashed after him, stopping a little ways away. She bent her head down to look at it, usnure if it was friendly or scared. Dare looked into the sheilupe, looking at it's eyes, trying to find out if it was a threat.

Volta stared at the horse-like creature, giving him a "are you crazy?!" look.  "Uhhh...I don't mean to be rude or anything but...What the heck are you doing?!" Volta said with full confidence.  She wasn't afraid of the creature but she wasn't exactly sure what it was doing, staring at her like she was a threat.  She looked awkwardly around her to see the more feminin looking creature only a few feet away.  Volta sighed impatiently as she decided to properly introduce herself.  "Okay, I don't have a clue what your doing staring at me like the way you are but if you would like to know, my name is Volta and if you could just backup at little, that would be appreciated" She said, promptly staring right back at the creature just to show that she wasn't in the very least intimidiated.

Dare backed up a few feet. "I'm Dare," He nickered, "and this is shadow." Shadow took a few timid steps forward, and nodded her head. her neck was starting to heal, although it still looked raw. "We're sorry to bother you..." She said timidly.
