" Run into that tree and you wont fell it. Slit your vein and you will still live. " Undertaker said. He snapped his own neck and still stood there.

Kane stood there for a couple seconds. "You're serious?" he asked. He ran toward the tree and slammed into it. He really didn't feel it. This really bewildered him. So, he really was immortal? Was that possible? He trotted back over to Undertaker. "Wow," he said. "This is incredible!"

" But, you can never have a family. You will outlive all mortals. Is this the path you choose to take? " Undertaker asked. He hated being immortal. He couldn't eat, drink, or do anything that only live people can do.

[jobiehanna]

"Uhhh," Kane said hesitantly. He really didn't want a family, and who would want a mechanical person in their life anyway? He exhaled slowly. It was cool to be immortal... He wouldn't have to eat or drink, but he couldn't taste anyway... "Yeah," he decided. "I want to be i-immortal," he said. He didn't want to think about it anymore. This was his decision.

" Now Kane, you can choose to stay here and aurd Hell's gate or e a wandering spirit. " Undetaker said. He couldn't leave this place. He was tied to it in a mystical bond. Maybe, if Kane helped, Undertakerr could break the bond and finaly be free.

Kane gulped. "I think I'd rather be a wandering spirit," he said shakily. "Do I still get to keep my body, though?" he asked Undertaker. The whole idea of guarding a gate forever frieghtened him a bit, but not having a body to control frieghtnened him as well. He reminded himself to breath again.

" Well " Undertaker said, changing his voice from his normal doom and death to a more human voice " thats were it gets complicated. See, you get to keep your body only at night. At day you must seek shelter as a spirit.I am forced to stay here because I am dead. I didn't get to choose were I wanted to go. " Undertaker explained. " If you were a gaurd here, you could be gone every day except for the last day of each month. " Undertaker said.

"Okay, so you're stuck here, and I have a choice?" Kane asked. Well, if he chose to guard here, he'd be with Undertaker, who wasn't that bad once you got past the death and doom thing, but if he was a wondering spirit, he wouldn't be obligated to return here at the end of every month. "As a spirit, I could take shelter in things such as..." he said, hoping Undertaker would fill in the gaps. This realy was all terrific, but rather complicated. "Also, if I were to guard here, would I still be in my body?"

" As a spirit you would have to take shelter from the sunlight, unable to take anyother bodys. If you gaurded here, you would keep you body. Wandering spirits are very prone to death by sunlight because most choose to haunt those who they feel they need revenge on. " Undertaker said. He had once been a spirit untill he rediscoverd his burial grounds. Now he was trapped.

Well, he didn't want to die by sunlight... and returning to this place the last day of every month didn't seem that bad. Nobody would miss him anyway. His desire to stay mortal dwindled to nothing. He wouldn't mind returning every month. "I think I'll guard this place," he decided. He thought more about it. "We could keep each other company when I'm here," he added.

" Very well. Now, you gaurd while I torture my brother. " Undertaker said as he went through Hell's gate. He found his brother, Kane the Imperial Fellox. " Brother. I have sent you hear because you made mother and father burn. Now you burn and I enjoy it. Fire suits you. " Undertaker told his brother. He watched his brother suffer and he laughed.

"Uh, okay," Kane said as he watched Undertaker walk into the gate. "Guess I'm immortal now," he whispered inder his breath. Then he looked around. Nobody seemed to be around, but he would gaurd anyway. He took to pacing in front of the gate. This is what gaurds do, right?

" Suffer! Squirm! " Undertaker yelled at his brother. He took off his mask and revealed the true horor of his face. He rolled his eyes into the back  of his head and listened to his brother scream with sadistic glee.

Kane shivered. How could Undertaker actually enjoy torturing his brother? He sighed. He would never know. He continued to pace in front of the gate as the screams went on.

" Do your worst Undertaker. I know your weakness! " Kane yelled at his brother. " I have no weakness you fool! I am immortal! " Undertaker said as he called upon demons. They tortured his brother until he could no longer feel. Undertaker was not evil, just very very mean, but once you get to know him, he was quite a charming fellox, you just have to get around the " You will burn in hellfire " thing.
