Fire just stood there for a while. He didn't know what to say, but it wasn't at all bad. Kids were cool. He just might not ever look at Thalia the same way again. "Oh..." was all he could get out. He knew that he wasn't helping very much, but he was in a bit of a shock. "Don't worry. It's cool." What a fail on his part, bringing the word 'cool' into this akward conversation. He just really didn't know what to say.
"Oh god, she said it..." Alarice muttered, hugging Hal but watching Fire closely. He seemed to be doing very well in controling his moods, but he still seemed in state of shock. She needed to keep an eye on him... No one knew his past as well as she did. But those things probably wouldn't happen again...
She finally let loose and started playing with Hal. Pretty soon she felt much better herself and took her mind off of Fire.
