When Thalia slept closer to Fire, though unaware, he began to toss a bit in his sleep. His facial expression showed confused, and there was no telling what dreams were running through his mind. Pretty soon he woke up with a start, then sighed, then stiffened in surprise at finding Thalia so close to him. He almost started panicing, because he didn't want to move away, since if she were actually awake, she might consider it rude or something. You really never know with girls.
Alarice, on the other hand, had fallen asleep by accident, and the moment the sunlight reached her face, her reptile eyes slid open. Craning her neck, she looked under her wing (which was now numb after being held up for so long), and she saw Fire and Thalia basicly cuddling, and-
no Zeul. The shock of everything accidently made her morph into a Shartile. Her sudden smallness made her get snapped up into the tree, where, apparently, her wing had been stuck. Looks like she still needs more practice for mood morphing. Since her wing was no longer blocking the morning sun's rays, sunlight cast across Thalia and Fire, fully waking both of them up. Alarice wiggled around a little, then, once she got unstuck, she morphed into her Kuhna form and used Lightfeet to scale the tree until she found a good 'sitting spot'. Then she watched as Fire and Thalia got up and looked at each other, blushing, before she jumped lightly to te ground in front of them as a Human.
"Mornin', loverbirds." she said, giving them a falsely happy grin. She knew Zeul must have left or something, but... Without saying goodbye to her? It was foretold in the dim gleam in her eyes thatdepression would follow her throuought the day.
Fire blushed furiously and stammered a little, but somehow the expression on Alarice's face silenced him. He looked around. Zeul wasn't there. He cast a sympethetic look back at Alarice, but she continued acting happy and teasing. It would take some serious mood readers to be able to tell what was really running through her head, and Fire was very good at that kind of thing. After all, he was taught by the best; Alarice.
