"Didn't I?" The Tali laughed at her own foolishness for forgetting such an important detail, "I'm Harmonia." She announced her name with pride and, being the show-off that she was, she couldn't help but fluff up her fur a little. Nodding thanks at the shopkeeper she too bought some taters and managed somehow to wangle a bucket from them as well for which to place them in.
"So," she grinned, "Let's get those buzzards!"

The flutter of wings and the soft crunch of pebbles beneath sneakers announced the arrival of a small flock of Mr. Wilson, maybe six or seven in total. The exact number was hard to tell as the moved quite sporadically, looking over eagerly at those who had bought the food from the vendor. This group seemed to have made it a ritual to come here, looking expectantly at the meji's and the tali, both having food in their hands.

A few Mr. Wilson would pop closer, only to loose their nerves and flutter away, instinct taking hold of them. Two of them, one grey and smaller than the others and one brown took wing even before the the group could try and feed them. The rest calmed down some, a few risking to watch their companions leave before turning back to the group.

(Sorry about not posting for so long. U-U -feels kinda' bad- Well good luck with the Mr. Wilsons, they're so cwute. ^o^)

[center]Mejuri 2.1/Fameji 2.1
"A Wilson, look! They have come at last!" Fameji exclaimed, pointing her wand at one of the plump birds.

Mejuri tried to hush her sister. "Shh, shh! We must feed them now, don't let them fast." Aha, more nonsense rhymes. They couldn't help it though. They had to make words rhyme when they were together, no matter if it made sense or not. Fameji nodded and scooted a bit closer to a Wilson, setting the trough down.

"Come, little birds, eat all you want!" Fameji cooed.

Spirit smiled and watched the little mr. wilsons as they scurried around. She walked up to stand calmly beside Fameji. They were such adorable things, no wonder Jaden wanted one. It would be such fun to have around at home!

The Tali managed to suppress a squeal of delight at the sight of the little birds. They were a lot cuter than she'd expected and she understood her owner's 'little speech' a lot better now she'd seen them close up. Determined not to miss her chance, Harmonia quietly picked up a tater from her bucket and proceeded to carefully rip it into smaller bits. It was a messy process and she disliked all the crumbs that were wriggling their way into her fur, but it couldn't be helped. She did her best to pick up the crumbs and slowly walked up to join the others. She didn't want to throw the crumbs right away, just in case the Mr.Wilsons flew off

Though the prospect of being fed kept a lot of the Mr. Wilson, the two canine pets before them forced many more of the Mr. Wilson to flee, taking wing awkwardly away from the group. Their plump bodies and short wings (not to mention their shoes) giving it all a very comical air.

Only two, particularly brave, Mr. Wilson remained...

Having lost many of their companions these two seemed a bit skittish, but one could almost see drool on their beaks as they popped forward. Did one of them say something about being yellow? Hard to tell. The braver of the two, the strangely coloured black one, came forward a little more. His friend shuffled closer, keeping behind his friend.

(Oh noes! Seems that only two of you will be getting a Mr. Wilson! And even that might not happen unless you're careful. -frets worriedly- =/)

Mejuri 2.2/Fameji 2.2

The two Mejis caught their breath. One of them...one of them was so pretty! The black one! Fameji stood as still as a statue, her eyes on that single Wilson. Mejuri cautiously stepped forward and cooed, "It's all right, come forward. We will not harm you little black one."

"Please,"Fameji quietly chimed. Her eyes were shining with such bright joy. "Come with us, please, we'll give food a ton."To prove her words she took out the biggest, and tastiest looking tater and gently held it out to the black Mr. Wilson. Will the little bird accept it? Will he decide to come with them?

Determined not to miss out, the Tali carefully plotted out her strategy. She personally preferred the pinkish one, but she knew her owner wouldn't care either way and since the Mejis had picked out their target she turned her attention to the greyish one. She slowly placed the crumbs out in front of her, making sure not to make any sudden movements that might frighten them away. Then she slowly stepped back, leaving a bit of space between her and the crumbs. She didn't want to seem too intimidating but she also wanted to gain it's trust

Spirit didn't care and she knew that Jaden didn't either, so she took a step forward and laid down, closing her eyes. She laid down her head and waited. She had seen Jaden do that...or something similar, on other pets. She and Jaden, along with all of the other pets, would be sad if they didn't get one. With a loose paw, she took a tater she had picked up, and crumbled it. Then she sprinkled it in front of her. Then she spoke in a soft and caring tone. "Come little one...I won't hurt you. Neither will ma famile. We can feed you." she whispered, just loud enough for them to hear.

OOC: Ma famile is pronounced "Ma fam-il-ya". It is spanish for "my family"

The two plumb birds looked at each other for a moment or two... Maybe three, however many moments it was that they looked at one another it must have seemed like an enternity for the waiting pets. Finally the night Mr. Wilson nodded before turning back to the other pets and popped forward, his sneakers crunching on the gravel. Trying hard, it seemed, to decide between the pets he came towards the two herbavores, snatching up the large tater and eyeing them warily.

The other Mr. Wilson fluttered, fluttered looking more and more skittish. A look like, "why was I left with the omnivores?!"
He shuffled forward a few steps and, suddenly lost his nerves. In a flurry of red fabric and grey feathers the Mr. Wilson was gone, leaving his friend looking very upset. Though this allowed for him to forget the meji's, relaxing a little.

( GYAH! Seems like the other Mr. Wilson has flown the coop, leaving only the night Mr. Wilson to be claimed. And it seems to me that the Meji's have him/her in their care... =/ Sorreh guys! Maybe next time? -avoids tossing of rotten tomatoes- Dx;; Mweep!

Spirit stood sadly, watching the other mr.wilson fly away. She smiled at the two mejis and inclining her head respectively, she turned. It was time to go home to tell Jaden what happened. With a sigh, she walked away. Maybe next time...

Their work here was done. The two Mejis tipped their hats in respect to the others. "We are sorry you did not catch one..."

"But do not give up, hun! Just keep on looking..."

They left the sentance unsaid and bowed. They then raised their wands and poofed into the thin air, back to their home.

Waving goodbye to the others (with her tail!) Harmonia sighed. She had wanted one so badly! Oh well, she could always try again. She didn't like to break the news to her owner but it had to be done. Fluffing up her fur and batting her eyelids she began walking off, ready to face her owner. She stopped suddenly before turning around and carefully tipping out the contents of the bucket on to the ground. Smiling to herself she neatly swept herself clean and trotted off, behind the trees...
