[Remedy]

Allison almost bit clean through her lip.  She was pretty sure she had, since she had heard a little 'clink' noise.  She glanced over at Dash, waiting for the worst to come from him.  

Dash hissed.  He bared his dull fangs and took an agressive step forward.  "So your related to that runt, are you?  Mutt.  I can do whatever I want.  Don't make me bite you..." he threatened.  He was furious now, since he learned now that not only was this guy related to Luke but he also knew something about Allison that Dash himself didn't know.

Allison took a deep breath and stepped between the two.  "Calm down, Dammit!" she hissed, frustrated.  She stepped up to Dash and pushed him back out of his defensive position.  Then she turned to Ayden and said, "Look, I'm sorry, but we can talk about this later.  You two calm down and talk to each other.  I think you'll be interested in learning that Dash here is only half Vampire.  Have you gotten a chance to study those?  Anyway, I have three things I need to tend to..."  

She turned to go, but Dash got up and caught her arm.
"Oh no, you're staying right here." he said.

[Elektra]

"Fang head..." he muttered.  Taking deep breathes, he tried to calm down, and ignore the comments coming from that half breed.  Ayden still couldn't get over his smell though.  "Anywho, what's your name, hotshot?"  Smiling, he watched as the other vamp grabbed Allison by her arm to stop her from running off.  "Go on Allison.  You love Luke so much, there's nothing to be ashamed about."  Ayden couldnt figure out why he was being so spiteful, but regardless, he wanted to see the half-breed's reaction to Alluson's big news.

[Remedy]

Allison glanced at Dash.  She knew he would make her tell him at some point, but now was just not the right time.  He might get mad, or...  "I um...  Look, we'll talk about this later, seriously.  Now is really not the time.  I'm not ashamed, I'm just... not comfortable with this situation." she said to Dash, casting a dark glance at Ayden.  "You stay out of it, smartypants.  I don't want you getting hurt." she said.

Dash raised an eyebrow but he could tell that Allison just wasn't ready.  He would probably find out at some point, whether she liked it or not.  Dropping the subject and turning to face Ayden, he said, "My name is Dash.  Well, that's my nickname, but it's certainly better than the real thing."  He still didn't like this fellow, but he didn't really want to fight at that moment with Allison there and all.  His venom might not be strong enough to protect himself.

[Elektra]

"Dash, eh?  Nice.  Kinda ironic, with your super speed and all."  Ayden had a tendency to go crazy about something or someone, and then act like nothing happened the next second.  Not exactly bipolar, but close.  Really just a trait that came from their canine side he supposed.  "Well, I suppose you know my name, since Ally here has been shouting it over and over, but anywho.  So Allison, three?  Wow, congrats."

[Remedy]

"Three what?" was Dash's first response.  

Allison slid over by Ayden and stomped on his foot.  Holding him by the ear, she said through gritted teeth, "Can I talk to you for a second?"  She pulled him out of earshot from Dash and hissed, "Would you shut up?  He can't know, or he'll try to kill you.  After all, you look a lot like your brother, don't ya think?  Just... I'm not ready.  And I don't want to see either of you get hurt."  She tried calming herself down and looked over at Dash.  He was fumbling with a piece of grass, waiting for them to return.  Turning back to Ayden she said, "Now you're gonna go over there and have a nice little conversation with Dash about his weird half-bloodedness and completely drop the topic of my little darlings.  If you don't, then I'm sure Luke would enjoy digging your corpse out of a lake."  Of course, she couldn't be serious about that, but hopefully it might get him to lay off.

[Elektra]

Ayden practically ripped her hand off trying to get out of her steel hard grip.  "Hey, I get it!  Now let go of my figgin ear!"  When she finally did, he decided to morph, so that if she got made again, his ears wouldn't be there for her to grab.  "Fine, but if you don't tell him soon, I will.  I know that since this guy likes you a lot, it'll be hard, but trust me.  The more you wait, the harder it'll be, until you just can't bring yourself to tell him at all.  And if it comes to that, I'll step in.  I'm doing this for you and Luke."  Putting a smile back on, he walked over to Dash.

"So you're a half-breed, eh?  That must be why you don't stink as much as Ally over there.  I'm kidding though, since it's natural.  But it is true, you don't have as much of a scent as she does, which is interesting." Pondering on his discovery, he found himself, regretting not making friends with Dash.  It would be an interesting friendship if anything, and perhaps they could learn more about each other.  He broke away for a minute of two to look at Allison as if to say 'You know what you have to do.'

[Remedy]

Allison nodded.  She understood what Ayden was saying.  Following him back over to Dash, she said to the two, "I um... I'll be right back.  I have to check on something.  Be nice to each other, and I promise I'll be back." she glanced at Ayden and said, "Um... I may have to bring some things back with me, depending in the situation." With that being said, Allison took a few steps back and darted headfirst at the tree they had been sitting by.  The second her foot touched the shadow, she was gone.

Dash watched Allison disappear.  She ran off so fast that he didn't really have time to grab her, plus she disappeared in the shadows.  "Dude!  Not even I can do that!" he said.  "I've heard her mention the whole shadow shift thing but I've never seen her actually do it!  Sweet..." he shook his head and then turned back to Ayden.  "Oh, um... yeah.  I'm a half-breed.  I can usually do all the stuff that vampires can, except at half the speed or whatever.  I can also survive on human food as well as blood, and I know I do have venom..." he said, seeing that Ayden was interested.  If Dash didn't kill him, they might be friends yet.

[Elektra]

"Hmmm.  Interesting.  So you have all their powers, but at half the strength.  Which also means that you wouldn't be able to kill me with venom.  So don't be getting any ideas." Smiling, he hoped that he had done the right thing in having Allison bring them here.  Of course, if things got out of hand, Ayden could always step in and stop Dash from doing anything.  Especially with this recent discovery about a half-breeds power limits.

"So wait, can you move around using shadow shift, or is that not possible for you?" Ayden inquired, interested and wanting to pass time until Allison made her way back.  The longer she took, the more anxious he seemed to get.  Hopefully though, Dash couldn't see it, since that might make for an awkward situation.

[Remedy]

Dash nodded.  "Basically. My venom may still hurt you though, even if it won't kill you.  I'm just not sure what exactly it may do.  Or, for that matter, what a werewolf bite would do to me since they're poisonous as well.  Like a rat carrying a disease.  I'm sure you already knew that, though.  Anyway, I don't think I'm capable of using Shadow Shift, but I can at least try." he said, getting up.  Dash knew this was probably stupid but he had been curious about his full abilities for a while now, so it was worth a shot.  He took a few steps back and ran towards the tree's shadow, trying hard to concentrate on it.  He ended up smacking headfirst into the tree but got up with only a broken nose.  For him it was no biggie, all he had to do was pop it into place and lick his hand to rub on his nose and it would heal in a few minutes.  For normal vampires, it only took second, but of course he was... special.  A few minutes later when the hurting and bleeding stopped, he wiped his nose with his sleeve and decided to try again.  Yeah, he wasn't very bright.  That much was clear.  This time, it actually worked.  Instead of concentrating on the shadow he was running toward, he concentrated on the shadow he wanted to appear in.  This resulted in Dash running and disappearing into the tree's shadow and about thirty seconds later appearing out of Ayden's back, panting and sweating.  He almost collapsed from exhaustion.  It was a lot harder than he had expected...

About five minutes after Dash tried this, Allison reappeared from the tree's shadow.  She wasn't tired or panting, and she hadn't even needed to run into the shadow, she simply stepped out.  She had returned with one of those huuuuge purses that most women used to carry around Lucain pups.  She had it zipped up, but there was still that opening in the front that purse dogs poked their heads out of.  

Dash walked up to Allison and asked her what what she had.  Allison simply glanced at Ayden and  showed him the inside.  He poked his face into the little opening of the purse and at the same time a little face had poked out from the other side as well.  Their noses tapped and they just stared into each other's eyes for a second, both too shocked to move.  Then a small glint shone in the little creatures eyes and it bit Dash on the nose, not hard enough for it to break the skin but hard enough to leave a bit of a bruise mark.  He stood up abruptly and stared at Allison.



She smiled nervously.

[Elektra]

Ayden couldn't help but laugh a bit.  Getting an annoyed look from Dash, he just shrugged.  "Hey, isn't that supposed mean that they like you or something?" he said, improvising.  Going over, the kits didn't hiss at him, but they didn't seem to like him either.  It was like they were torn between jumping out and hugging him, and jumping out and killing him.  Probably because of the half-vamp half-werewolf thing... he thought.  

Looking at Dash, he waited expectantly.  He wasn't sure what he would say, or if he had even caught on yet.  "Sooooo."

[Remedy]

Dash just rubbed his nose and stared at the bag.  

Another small head poked out of the hole and looked at him, then yelped and disappeared as if something had pulled it back.  A few tiny growls and scratching noises came from the bag purse thing, and Allison reached her hand in to try to stop whichever two were fighting to continue.  Once it had she pulled one out, an odd tan colored kit and showed it to Dash.  "Sorry about that.  Beatrix here is the one who bit you.  She likes picking fights, and I was hoping she'd like you a little better..." Allison said, ignoring Dash's speechless stares.  The little kit growled and bit her finger, causing Allison to jump a little in surprise.  She sighed.

Finally, Dash spoke.  "Are those... are they... yours?" he asked, shaking his head.  He knew the answer, it was so obvious.  And to think he was such a retard as to believe they might actually have a future together!  Ugh.  The kit's couldn't be more than a few days old, though.  They were cute, but... it's funny how something so cute could hurt a person so much emotionally and everything.  He took a deep breath.

[Elektra]

"You okay Dash?" Ayden asked.  For once, he was actually worried about a vamp.  Sure, he didn't have anything against them, but to care about one, well, yeah.  He could easily see whow this was effecting Dash though.  It was obvious how much Dash was in love with Allison, and then to have this fact shoved in his face?  That was enough to tear a lot of people apart.  Not to mention that the kits, being Luke's, just made it worse.  No one could really expect him to like kits that were his archenemies kin.  

Being stupid, Ayden decided that he wanted to see the kits.  Going over, he came eye to eye with the one called Beatrix.  After a small staredown, she leapt at him.  "Aaah!" he screamed, realing back.  "Get this frigging thing off me!"  Screaming, he shook his head as hard as he could, trying to dislodge her from his nose.  But her teethe, as sharp as they were, wouldn't come out.  "A little help here!?"

[Remedy]

Dash chuckled when he saw the little kit pounce on Ayden.  That seemed to brighten his mood a little and made him think that maybe they weren’t all that bad.  He quickly stepped over and got a hand around the little kit on Ayden’s face, and easily made it let go by tickling the sides.  She fell off into his hands, squirming and squealing from the unexpected attack.
”God dammit, Beatrix….”  Allison muttered, taking her out of Dash’s hand and gently putting her back with the other two.  After Beatrix was carefully tucked away, there was a bit of an awkward silence.
”Uh… so…”  She said nervously, glancing at Dash.
He couldn’t help but laugh.  ”Well, all I have to say is it seems like that little one takes a lot after it’s mother, huh, Ally?”
Allison laughed, too.

Good that the ice was finally broken.

[Elektra]

Ayden shook his head, but even if his nose was bleeding a lot, he somehow found himself taking a deep liking to that kit.  Of course, at Dash's remark, he was genuinely puzzeled.  "Like her how?  She's always been so, well, peppy..."  And yet, when he looked at her again, it was a different face.  More mature, brave, and now...this.  "I guess you're right." he said, smiling.  "Hey, well, this might be weird, but where's Luke?  When I first caught scent of you, I was hoping to find him."
