She slowed herself down, ignoring the heat on her palms as they rubbed against the plastic.  When the end finally came, and she could see the ground again, Cuddles took a few minutes to get herself together.  She was a bit dizzy, but got up anyway, trying to remember what Cesilia's mom had looked like.  This was hopeless.  There were so many people here, she'd never find the mom...

But then she spotted her, or someone who she could've sworn was extremely familiar.  Rushing over, she grabbed the woman's sleeve and tugged on it a few times to get her attention.  Finally the mother looked down, and seemed to recognize Cuddles.  "Oh, hello.  Didn't I meet you when my daughter and I came in?"  Cuddles nodded, out of breath.  Finally, she managed to talk.  "Your daughter's stuck.  She can't move her head from between these two bars, and she needs help."

When Cuddles finished, the face of the woman standing in front of her took on a load of expressions.  From terrified to angry, she seemed to be losing control at the thought of her daughter being in danger.  "Mam...  Please, I don't know what to do.  Maybe you should call the park rangers or something.  But she sounded really uncomfortable, so I wanna go and get you to her."  Cuddles took a hold of the mothers sleeve and lead her over to the opposite end up the playground.

From where the two stood, you could see the Cesilia's head hanging in between the bars.  She was crying, but when she caught sight of her mom and Cuddles, she stopped.  "Mommy!  Help!" she cried out.  Of course, her mother was on the phone with a ranger, who said he'd be over to the park with help in a matter of minutes.  "Hang on sweetie!" the mother cried.

While the mother and daughter conversed frantically, Cuddles started up toward Cesilia.  It didn't take her nearly as long now that she new all the ways to get up, and soon she was near enough to talk with Cesilia clearly.  "Hi.  I'm Cuddles.  Do you wanna talk?  You're mom's getting the park rangers to help you out though, so you'll be okay."

Cesilia just managed to face Cuddles as she talked.  "Hi Cuddles." the little girl smiled, "I like your dress.  It's really pretty." she said.  It was obvious that she was in pain, but it seemed like talking with her helped.  Soon they both heard the sound of horses, and a park ranger began to climb up to them as two others set up a mattress quite like the ones that were there for the kids to fall on when they were crossing the balance beams.  Cuddles sighed, and looked happily at the girl beside her.  "Yay!  You're gonna be okay!" she said happily.

Cesilia's mom breathed a sigh of relief as the ranger jumped down with her after get the bars separated.  Of course, Cuddles had to jump as well, since the bars that had to be bent loosened the bridge. The rangers said it wasn't safe to be on until the checked it out, and that was okay with her.  She'd had enough for that day.  It seemed that her day was already just about finished.

The head ranger offered his hand to her, and pulled her off the mattress.  While his men started deflating it, Cesilia ran over and hugged Cuddles.  "Thanks Cuddles!  You saved me!"  The little Tricky smiled sheepishly, and said it was nothing.  "But is was something....   I wouldn't have ever seen her from where I was.  You really did save her." Cesilia's mother said as she came over.  Kissing Cuddles on top of the head, she took her own daughter's hand, smiling.

"Mommy, can Cuddles come home with us for a playdate?" Cesilia asked, looking up to her mother with pleading eyes.  "No, I'm sorry hun, but Cuddles' mommy would be very mad if she couldn't find her anywhere.  Maybe you guys will see each other again."  The mother smiled at Cuddles, and started walking off.

As the two walked off, Cesilia turned her head.  "Bye!" she called out, waving.  Cuddles waved back, smiling.  She'd made a friend!  Oh if only she could've played longer.  But the sun was going down, and she was scared of being all alone in the dark.  Shaking her head, she waited until another adult opened the gate to leave, and left the park.
