Jasmine - Dream - Odette

Several days passed with lots of planning and what-not, getting ready for the big day. Dresses were picked out, the cake was decided on and flowers ordered. Bridesmaids and groomsmen were picked and the honey moon was planned. The couples counseling went well, with lots of talk about spending the rest of their lives together, having children, having grandchildren, raising their children and spoiling their grandchildren, all kinds of mushy love talk, and the only thing that really bothered the couple would be the wedding expenses. But when Rhea was up late worrying about it, Pan would always be there, telling her not to worry, they’d find a way.
On the morning of the big day Rhea could have been found in the back room of the cathedral getting ready. Her mother wasn’t there, as she had long since been dead, but her friends were. Jasmine, Dream and Odette, her bridesmaids, were helping her into her dress and telling her all would go well.
“It’ll be fine,” Jasmine reassured her, running a brush through Rhea’s silky, soft hair.
“Yes, Pan is perfect for you,” Odette added with a giant smile.
“You’re lucky to have a man like him,” Dream chimed in.
Rhea smiled at her friends. “You guys are great,” she said with a dazzling smile of her own. Weeks of teeth-whitening treatments had made them a perfect white. After all the hair was done and dresses and jewelry on, the girls left to meet the guys who were going to take them down the aisle.
This left Rhea alone with her own thoughts. Such as, What if I trip? What if Pan isn’t there? A whole string of ‘what ifs’ ran through her head as she waited for her cue to come out. She smoothed her dress out and practiced her smile. The dress was the traditional white, with ruffles along the skirt of the dress, which was loose, while the top was a little more form fitting, but not so tight it didn’t look good. It had a fancy design on it, one with glitter and intricate swirls. Her soft blonde hair was put up in a delicate bun with pins that had cubic zirconium (fake diamonds) on them. Some of the hair hang loose, but that was the way it was suppose to be. The necklace around her neck was delicate as well. It was made of, again, the cubic zirconium, but it was in a pattern that modeled the way vines linked together. She wore very little makeup, but her face glowed with happiness.

Damon - Fabian - Toby

In the room beside Rhea’s Pan was worrying over how he looked. Would Rhea approve? Did he look okay? He ran his hand through his hair. Fabian, Toby and Damon were straitening each other’s ties and boutonnieres, which were made of a single blue iris, and goofing around.
“No, it goes like this,” Fabian was saying to a confused Toby that had put his boutonniere on upside down. Beside them Damon chuckled.
“It’s not that funny,” Toby retorted with a grin, pretending to be offended.
Damon chuckled more. “Yes it is,” he said. Toby shot him a glare.
“Okay guys,” Pan said. “Let’s go over this again. Fabian goes out with Jasmine first, then Damon with Dream, then Toby with Odette, got it?”
The others nodded. “Sure thing, boss,” Damon said. “We’ll see you out there.”
Pan nodded. “I’ll be up front.”
The others left to meet the girls in the hallway. Then Pan paced a bit, and then went up to the front of the church. People were already there, which made him a bit nervous. The priest was there and offered a smile of encouragement.  Pan nodded and folded his hands behind his back.
He was so nervous right now! What would he do if she was too nervous to come out? Changed her mind and didn’t want to marry him and have children? He wanted her so bad… As he stood there the couples started to come out of the double door on the other end of the room. It was going to be all right, he told himself. Deep breaths.

Pan now stood up front, hand still behind his back, as the couples walked out. First was pretty ‘nurse’ Jasmine with romantic Fabian. Second out of the doors was delicate Dream with tough guy Damon. Third was awkward Toby with good girl Odette. The girls looked to pretty in their pretty blue dresses with their hair done up in pretty bun hairdos with glittery leaf-like clips at the base. The dresses weren’t very form fitting, and looked like they would make good twirling dresses. Along the bottom of the dresses were the outlines of daisies. They weren’t strapless; they had very thin straps the same light blue color of the dress itself. Jasmine with her pretty blonde hair, Dream was another blondie, but Odette was more of a reddish brown. But not of these pretty faced prepared Pan for what was next.
Rhea came down the aisle in her beautiful white gown with her blue and white iris and hydrangea bouquet. Her blue eyes sparkled with joy as she saw Pan and the way he was watching her. It was like he had never seen someone so beautiful. She smiled, tears springing into her eyes. This was the moment. The bridal march played, and she made her way down the aisle. All eyes were on her and she could feel a red blush creeping up her cheeks.

Rhea reached the front and stood beside Pan; then they turned to face each other. They smiled, taking in each other. Rhea could smell the sweet scent of Pan’s cologne, and Pan could smell Rhea’s perfume. Her eyes sparkled with happiness and she couldn’t stop smiling. It was so exciting for his day to come! Soon after would be children, then grandchildren, and if they were lucky, great-grandchildren. But that was all in the future. It was now, today, and the priest was speaking.
Pan held Rhea’s hands in his, almost completely oblivious to the priest that was now saying, “If anyone here has reason to stop this couple from being wed…” Blah, blah, blah. Rhea’s hands were soft and a little clammy from her nerves. He rubbed them to warm them up a little.
Pan’s soft brown eyes were smiling at Rhea. She felt all bubbly under his gaze. It felt so wonderful to be here, with his hands in hers, with the priest saying those words she had been waiting to her.
“I do,” Pan said softly. The priest babbled on a little more, and then it was Rhea’s turn.
“I do,” Rhea repeated the words, them coming off her tongue with a sweet taste.
Then those wonderful words, after they exchanged rings. “You may kiss the bride.”
Pan leaned forward, his lips finding Rheas with no problem. She wrapped her arms around him, and he did the same with his. It was such a sweet kiss! Rhea pulled away, a smile finding her lips. They looked out at the crowd, then felt her legs being swept out from under her. Pan had picked her up and was carrying her down the aisle, kissing her as they went. Rhea giggled, happy as could be.
He took her to the hallway outside the room where they were wed and waited for the bridal party and guests to come out the door. The newlyweds stood with the other members of the bridal part and they greeted every one of the guests and thanked them for coming.
Afterward, they all went to the reception hall where the cake was sitting on a table in the corner. It was a three layer cake with blue roses on the edges and a bride and groom kissing on the top. The white icing was laced with blue, giving it a marbled look. The inside was marble, but one wouldn’t know unless they cut it open to reveal what was inside. On a different table sat the main meal, buffet style. Pork, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, corn, breaded chicken, different kinds of fruits and veggies and chips adorned the table while a few pitchers waited on the end for someone to poor them.
The bridal party was along the back wall, where they sat with girls on the bride’s side and males on the groom’s side. After toasts and other speeches, the festivities began. The DJ began the music and, as was tradition, Rhea went out on the dance floor with Pan to dance the first dance. It was ‘Let’s Stay Together’ by Al Green. It had an old time feel to it, but the words were perfect for the couple. They danced and swayed to the tune with smiling faces.
When the dance was over they kissed, and everyone ‘Aww-ed’. Then different music came on and others joined in the dancing. Rhea found it a struggle to dance in the wedding dress, but she managed to have fun. The only real problem was going to the restroom, now, that, was a battle that was hard to win, even if it was with an inanimate object.

((Dream, Odette, Jasmine, Damon, Fabian, and Toby are leaving the roleplay for now, they won't be back in for a while, if I bring them in again at all. XD))

Re: Growing Closer Together

When the newlyweds finally got to the hotel room they were renting for the night, they were ready to crash. Rhea found herself on the fluffy, soft bed still in her wedding dress. Pan was nearby taking off his shiny black shoes and tuxedo. Rhea sighed. He was so handsome in a tux with the blue striped tie and his hair slicked back. She wanted to touch that hair so bad, get the gel out of it, but was having trouble getting herself off the bed. The dress was a little poofy and hard to move in. After struggling with it a while, she ‘humphed’ and crossed her arms. Pan turned her way. The way she glared at him made her look a little goofy, it made him chuckle. He went over to sit on the bed beside her.
“What’s so funny?”
“Oh nothing,” Pan said with another chuckle.
Rhea smiled. “Sure,” she said with a sarcastic note to her voice.
Pan felt himself caving in to her look. “You look funny like that,” he admitted. “In a cute way,” he added. Rhea shoved him, but didn’t do much damage. The dress was still in her way. “You need some help with that?” Rhea nodded. Pan smiled and stood up. He offered a hand to her and she took it with a flirty smile on her face. He helped her up and unzipped the back. “Better?”
“Yes, thank you,” Rhea said, holding the dress up in front. “I’ll be right back.” She went into the bathroom and changed into some lingerie, bought especially for the wedding night and she had others for the honey moon.
Outside the door Pan was undressing and redressing, more of just pulling his shirt and pants off, then putting a new pair of pants on. He hated sleeping in a shirt, it was so uncomfortable sometimes. He swept the covers back on the bed and crawled under the soft sheets. It would be a warm night beneath all these blankets.
Rhea came out of the bathroom after washing her face, changing, blah, blah, blah, all that stuff girls do in the bathroom. When she saw Pan a girlish giggle escaped her lips. He was lying on his side with a cocky grin, his head. She climbed in and snuggled close to him. “Hey,” she said with a smile.
“Hey,” he said in return.
“I’m so tired,” she said with a yawn into his chest.
“Is that so?” Pan rubbed his hand up Rhea’s back, felling the cool, smooth skin beneath his warm, rougher hands. Then he kissed her. A chill ran down Rhea’s back and she smiled.
“Well, I guess I’m not too tired…” she murmured.

Re: Growing Closer Together

Postby jobiehanna » 01/05/2011 8:58 PM

The following day Rhea and Pan found themselves on their way to Jawan, the Sea City for their honey moon. It wasn’t the most spectacular place to go, but it was pretty. The view from their hotel was breath-taking to the pair, especially Rhea.
“Wow, isn't it beautiful,” Rhea said as she looked out the large window. She could see the ships coming in and out of the harbor. There were people and pets that looked like ants from her view up on the hill that were fishing and selling fish.  The white buildings sparkled in the light, casting shadows all over the place. But the most striking thing about the view was the sun shining down on the water. It made the sea sparkle and dance. The sun was now setting, and the sunset was truly amazing. The purples, pinks and blues blended perfectly together. Rhea never wanted to look away.
Pan came up behind his wife, wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck with a smile. “Sure is,” he said with a chuckle. Rhea smiled, wrapping her hands around Pan’s. They stood there a little longer before Pan broke the silence. With a teasing tone he said, “Are you going to stand here all night?”
Rhea giggled. “No,” she said, spinning around in his arms. “I was just thinking how beautiful this place is, maybe we should just live here and raise our family here,” she said.
“Well…,” Pan said, thinking it over. “I don’t see anything wrong with that.”
Rhea smiled, “Me either,” she said, though it was unnecessary. “They could be fishers,” she said with a giggle. Then her eyes sparkled with a new idea. Then she exclaimed excitedly, “Maybe we could open up a fishing business!”
Pan smiled. Well, there was nothing for them back at home. “That’s a wonderful idea,” he said with a smile and another kiss. “But first, let’s finish our honey moon.”
Rhea smiled. “I suppose we should, huh? Enjoy this bliss while we can, before we start popping out kids,” she said with the teasing air again, though having children was no joke to her. She really wanted them. She wanted to watch them grow, to hear the pitter-patter of little feet running around. She wanted to hear them laugh. She wanted to be a mother, and now that she had gone through the wedding and found her life-mate, she was ready. Children, children, children, was on her mind. She couldn’t wait until they found a house to settle down in so the kids would have a stable environment to live in.
Pan chuckled. “Yes,” he said, looking into her eyes. He leaned down and kissed her, holding her tight. Her eyes swirled with dark blue and light blue, and they still sparkled with excitement. Oh, how he loved those eyes! He hoped any kids they had would reflect them, would reflect her. He loved her so much, he didn’t want anything to get between them, and he hoped children wouldn’t do that. He hoped that they’d bring them closer together. “I love you,” he said after pulling away from her kiss.
“I love you too,” Rhea said softly.
