"Okay, I'll try!" Quickly so that there was a lower chance of Rosy getting hurt, Cat slipped into the now wider space under the merry-go-round and used the same trick with the bar that she had with the stick and the eggs hidden in the log. "Oh, I hope I don't break them," she mumbled, trying to work as fast as she could without damaging the eggs. Eventually the girl managed to scoop them up in her hands and jumped back out from under the toy. "Okay, Rosy, I got them! You can let go of it now!" Hopefully it hadn't strained the Fellox too much to bend the merry-go-round over like that. "Are you okay?" Cat tried to see if Rosy had hurt herself, and noticed at the same time that, despite their efforts, she had gotten her dress stained with dirt and rust. "Oh well... It would have happened sooner or later."

[Shieba]

"Thank goodness!" Rosy was glad when Cat was out of there and she could finally let the toy go. Out of breath, she stretched her legs. "Yeah, I'm fine." She would probably have a bruise or two later, but nothing the healers at the Chateau couldn't fix. "I managed to keep my wings away from getting squeezed between me and the thing and that was my main concern. Also, the ribbons are still clean!" Sadly, that could not be said about Cat's clothes. "Oh dear, not good! Let's hope these stains get out when it's washed!" She knew little about clothes, so Rosy wasn't sure about that. "But at least we have eggs, right? Let's take them back to the hiding spot." She only hoped they'd really be able to find it again.

"That's good, then, that you didn't get hurt or dirty." Dropping the bar, Cat brushed at her dress with one hand, holding the eggs in the other. "It'll be all right. Baron might grumble a little about it, but he won't really be mad. Besides, he really can't blame me for getting dirty if he's the one that told me to go outside, right?" She grinned and then hopped back up on Rosy's back. "Okay, let's find that spot. It wasn't all that far away, so we should be able to find it again. And you placed the rock next to it, so that'll help us even more." Cat scanned the field they had passed through, but couldn't yet see where their hiding hole was. "Hmm, I don't see it from here, but I think we came from that way," she said, pointing.

[Shieba]

"That's true. This is Terrace Park, after all. Grass stains are the least one should expect to come from here and if it's a bit of rust as well, hey, that's normal. At least we're being productive here! Who knows what great stuff we can get as prizes from these eggs!" Rosy made her way into the direction Cat was pointing. She wasn't small by any means, but it was still pretty difficult to make things out from her point of view. "Yes, let's look for the rock." She found a rock rather quickly, but it turned out to be the wrong one. After a bit of searching, though, she found the hiding spot again. "Ah! Here we are!" She pushed the grass aside. "Do you think we still have time to look for some more?"

"Hmm, I do wonder what the prizes are. There weren't any hints at all, were there? But I guess that's the fun of being surprised, after all!" Slipping off Rosy's back again, Cat placed the eggs with the other four. "That's six eggs so far. Half of a carton!" She giggled and then thought about Rosy's question. "Well, if we just give up now, we might miss out. I think we should keep looking until time is called!" Swiftly she got on Rosy's back again (she was getting good at this now) and looked around at the field. "Let's see... We've already been that way and that way," Cat thought aloud, "so let's try going in that direction!" She pointed towards where a few trees stood at the edge of the park. "I'm sure there must be something hidden in there!"

[Shieba]

"Yeah, I wonder that, too. We have a human girl living at out Chateau, too, who says there has been another egg hunt around all regions going on as well. Maybe they're related or something. The bunny who organized this here said even he has no idea. But yes, it's fun like that!" She quickly made her way over to the trees as soon as Cat had hopped onto her back again. "Let's hope we find some more the- whoa!" Between the trees was a resonably sized, muddy pond, overgrown with various waterplants. In the middle was a small island with quite a few eggs on it - from her position, Rosy counted at least six, but maybe there were even more. "Okaaay, guess that's the big prize for the poor soul who dares to get wet and super-dirty..." She was not keen on getting her ribbons soaked with the muddy water and even Cat would get wet feet - and she would have to walk back, since she couldn't ride if she had to carry the eggs. "Do we get them or look for others?"

Oh dear... Such a wonderful prize, but no way to get to it! It certainly was a treasure for only the most daring. "Grr, that's very disappointing," Cat huffed, crossing her arms. "Just look at how many there are! But unless we can figure out how to cross that pond, I'm afraid we'll have to give up..." She looked at the trees around them and had an idea, though she didn't think it was a very good one. "Well... if we really wanted to... Maybe you could use your powers and cut down a small tree so we could use it as a bridge. But that wouldn't be very fair to cut down a tree just for this. And you said you could get in trouble for using your powers, anyway." The girl tried to see if there were any fallen logs, but the murky, plant-choked water was nearly impossible to see into. "If there was a fallen log, we could try to use that, but I can't see any..."

[Shieba]

Rosy pondered this idea. She had used her powers once, so she wasn't against using it another time, but... "I wouldn't mind doing it again, but I'm not sure if we can move a tree of that size up there and if I cut one close enough, I might smash the eggs. That's actually very likely." She flapped her wings. "Stupid wings, so small! I wish I could fly so much right now!" She stepped closer to the water. "I really don't want to go into it... and I think it's too deep to push rocks into it to cross. At least not of the size we could move." She looked around for useful things as well. All that she spotted was a huge, curved piece of bark. "That could serve as a basket of sorts...if I swim there and you sit on my back, you could probably hold on with one hand and carry that thing with the other." The thought didn't sit well with Rosy, but it was the only idea she had.

"That might work!" Cat exclaimed, happy that there was now a possibility that they could get the eggs. Then she realized that Rosy's ribbons would be ruined. "Oh, but... Your ribbons! They'd get completely soaked and dirty from that brackish water. Are you sure that would be okay?" She tried to think of another option that could involve that huge piece of bark Rosy had spotted. "Hm... I wonder if that piece of bark is big and sturdy enough for me to try to paddle over to the island on it?" Cat went over to it and pushed it only partly into the water, to see how well it would float. "Hmm... Or we could just hope that the pond isn't very deep..." Either way, it looked like at least one of them was going to get dirty. "They are just eggs; we can try looking somewhere else if you want..." From the sound of it, though, Cat didn't really want to give up on such a nice collection of eggs.

[Shieba]

"Yeah, well..." Rosy sighed. "I ruined my ribbons last year as well, so I kinda was prepared for something like that mentally, I suppose. I'd survive, I have more ribbons." She looked at the bark. "I actually don't think this will support your weight...or at least I'm not sure. If you sink, you're dirty for nothing and you might even swallow some of this dirty water. I don't think that would be good. But if you sit on my back while I swim, your feet will probably get wet, too." Rosy was just as unwilling to give up as Cat. "Well, what do you say? Want to get over on my back and get really dirty?"

"Hmm, I think you're right about it not being able to support me," she said, watching the bark float in the water. "So I guess the best thing if we really want those eggs – and I think we do – is to go with your idea. I don't mind getting that dirty, really. It's not like the world will end, right?" Smiling, she got back up on Rosy's back. "I just hope that I won't weigh you down very much, since the ends of my dress will get wet, too. If you start sinking or feeling tired, just tell me and start going back, okay?" Cat looked concerned now. "I don't want you to get hurt just for the sake of this game."

[Shieba]

"I've swum in the open sea last year, in whirlpools. I'll survive a pond." Rosy laughed and waited until Cat had climbed up. "I don't think it's deep enough that I will drown, don't worry. You just concentrate to hold onto the bark and me at the same time, okay? While we'll survive getting wet, there's no need to have you fall down in the end." Rosy slowly made her way into the water. It was cold and ugly and she got her paws tangled into some underwater plants right away. "Ugh! Cold! Okay, going in deeper now..." She slowly walked forward until the ground disappeared from under her feet, then she had to swim. "Sorry it's so slow, but the ribbons are kinda heavy now and there are plants I have to rip out. This whole thing is overgrown underwater..." She had trouble speaking, it was quite hard to get forward, but slowly, she made her way towards the island. When she finally got next to it, she found ground again so that she could walk the last steps. "Okay...wow, this is exhausting...and so nasty..." She looked at the eggs. "Can you load them in now? How many are there?"

Cat felt bad for poor Rosy. Not only did she have to swim through the icky water that was completely overgrown with plants, but her ribbons were totally drenched and she had to carry Cat as well! Maybe some day she'd be able to make it up to her somehow. Once the pair reached the little island, Cat got off and dragged the bark piece up onto the shore so that it wouldn't float away. Going to where the eggs were grouped, she quickly counted them. "It looks like there's actually eight here! Six in the middle, and two more that rolled away a little." Carefully she set them all on the bark basket, keeping them close to the middle so that there was less chance of them falling into the water. Climbing back up onto Rosy, she said, "Okay then. Let's go back carefully... Hopefully it will be easier, since you already had to tear up the plants in this direction to get here."

[Shieba]

"Eight! That's awesome! Makes this trip totally worth it!" Rosy saved her breath and hurried to get back as quickly as possible. Luckily, Cat was right and she had an easier time on the way back, even though the ripped-off plants were still floating in the water and tended to hinder her movements. She was just glad when she got ground under her paws again and dragged herself back onto dry land. "And...we're here!" She was really panting a bit from all the swimming. "Mind getting off for a second? I need to shake out my fur to get it to be a bit lighter and because I want the dirty water out as much as possible." She started brushing off the plants still stuck between her claws. "Man, I'm so happy there's no mirror around! How's your dress and feet?"

"Oh yes, of course!" Cat hurriedly jumped off Rosy and pulled the bark basket out of the water so it wouldn't float away (that would be bad!). She then started to wring out the hem of her dress. "Oh, it's fine. The algae will wash right off, and the rest is just water. Although it'll be a little heavy for a while as it dries. ...I do think I got water in my shoes, though." Making a face, she undid the buckles on her shoes and pulled them off one at a time, dumping out the water. "There, that should be better." Quickly putting them back on, she looked at Rosy's ribbons. "Hmm... Since you don't have hands... Would you like me to squeeze the water out of your ribbons for you? It'll make them much lighter, for sure."
