Rosy dashed around, looking for Cat. She had had so much fun with the girl during the first round of the hunt, until they had been suddenly forced to stop because the time had been up. They had gotten lucky that they had been able to get all the eggs they had hidden away to cash them in. And wow, egg prizes had been plenty! Rosy now had a nice collection of pretty eggs (though not as pretty as ribbons) and by now, her fur and ribbons had dried again from her previous encounter with the dirty pond. But well, if she was here anyway, there was no reason to not do the hunt all over again and since she had indeed managed to get another slot, she hoped Cat hadn't left yet or she would have to find a new partner. "Cat?" Rosy looked around, calling for the little girl who would be probably hard to spot between all the people the egg hunt had attracted. "Cat, are you here somewhere?"

"Here I am!" called the little girl with the bouncy curls, waving at Rosy from across the park. "Over here!" She tried to get a little closer to where the Fellox was, but now that there were more people here, it was a bit difficult and ended up having to shuffle around egg hunters a few times. Eventually she met up with Rosy, however, and gave her friend a smile. "You're back! I'm so glad to see you again! How are your ribbons?" Cat leaned over to look, and was pleased to see that the ribbons were recovered from the muddy pond. "Oh, that's lovely! I'm glad they weren't ruined. So, are you ready to start searching again?" Gazing out across the now much more crowded park, Cat frowned slightly. "Hmm, we're going to have to compete with a lot of other people if we stay here. Maybe we should try a different area?"

[Shieba]

"Totally ready!" Rosy beamed. "I'm so glad you're still here and that I got another slot! We did good together last time!" She flapped her wings. "Yeah, it's getting crowded. We should indeed enter the grassy area from a different side. Let's hope we find another good place to hide our eggs in then." She didn't look forward to dig another hole, but figured she'd probably have to. "And yes, the ribbons are fine. They still need a washing, but I'll do that when the hunt is over and there's no chance of them getting ruined again. Well, let's get started! Want to sit on my back again? One advantage of having four legs is that I'm pretty fast, if you ride, we won't lose that much time by circling the area first."

[Kodai]

"Actually, I did go back for a minute," Cat admitted, though she was pleased about it. "I changed my outfit a little! Do you see?" The girl now had a small white apron over her dress. "I decided to put this on because it has pockets! They're not very big, but it's better than nothing, isn't it?" Beaming, she nodded and got back up on Rosy's back again. "You're right about you being faster on four legs. And although I could use my normal form... Well, I don't really like to use it too much... and it's been useful so far to have a pair of hands around, so I think I should stay like this. I think, with you being a Fellox and me being human, we're covering all the bases!" She gave Rosy a pat and then held onto her ruff. "All right, let's go somewhere else so we have a better chance of finding eggs!"

[Shieba]

"Oh, awesome! Pockets! Good thinking there!" That would make everything so much easier! Rosy was a bit confused then. She had only known Cat as, well, a little girl. "Huh? You're not fully human? Are you one of these guys who have two forms?" That was totally new for Rosy. "Well, there are quite a few people like that around, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me much." She quickly started to make her way through the crowds, staying at the edge of the higher grass, trying to get away from the huge amounts of people. "But yes, it's probably good that you are in a human form then. Especially if you don't like your other one that much." She stopped when she had found spot where the grass seemed pretty untouched. "How about going in here? Doesn't seem like many hunters have entered from here."

[Kodai]

"Oh, yes, I am. You couldn't tell?" Cat looked surprised. "I thought it would be obvious... But maybe you've just never met a Palowockee before?" She reached up and fiddled with the headphones around her neck. "I guess my pigtails cover these up... but yes, that's what I am. There are quite a few residents that have human and quadrupedal forms at the House, so if you ever wanted to meet someone else like this, you could come visit. But you should visit anyway!" The girl nearly bounced with excitement. "I really would like it if you came to see me. And I would like to visit you, too! Although you said you actually live deep in the forest, right? I might need directions..." When Rosy stopped, Cat glanced up to see the virtually untouched grass before them. "Oh! This looks perfect! We'll have to be very careful, though; this grass is really long..."

[Shieba]

"Oh! Well, I've seen normal humans wearing stuff like that before as well. Humans like music a lot, after all." Rosy mentally went through the inhabitants of the Chateau. "We have just one Fellox who takes on a human form because he builds technology and stuff. I don't know if anyone else can, really. I'd really like to visit your place and meet the people there! This would be awesome! And you can come to my place as well, I'll ask Grandma to guide you or something. It shouldn't be a problem. But yes, the Chateau is pretty deep in the forest, right next to a lake." Rosy carefully took a few steps into the grass. "Yeah, it's definitely high. Good thing you're up there and can look over it. I'll watch my steps and look for any eggs hidden on the ground while you look for interesting things in the distance, okay?" The ground was thankfully not muddy or anything so that Rosy wasn't scared of accidently stepping into a pond hidden behind the grass right now.

"Well, I suppose that is true," Cat replied thoughtfully. "I guess I thought I would smell like a Palowockee... but if you haven't met one before, I guess you wouldn't know what they smell like. But it's fine now – I've told you what I am and now you know!" Trying to look through the tall grass, Cat frowned as she realized it would be difficult for her to see much. It was really thick... although if there was something big on the ground, like the log or merry-go-round they had found earlier, she would probably be able to see the difference in the amount of grass growing in such a spot. "Wait... next to a lake?" She blinked, thinking. "Hmm... It must not be Hakei's lake. He would definitely tell us if there were a lot of people nearby. He's overly protective of that lake, you see. It's very strange; he's a Lucain, but he really loves the water. He spends more time there than anywhere else, though he did go to the Breeding Facility one time." Darn, she still didn't see anything... "Can you see anything through this grass? I'm not having much luck..."

[Shieba]

"I'm not sure I would succeed in that even if I would know what a Palowockee smells like. I...can't say I ever relied on my nose. At least I can't remember. I'm wearing a mask over it anyway. Felloxes probably are pretty bad at smelling things because of that." Rosy carefully made her way deeper into the area, trying to spot stones before she stumbled over them. "Well, the Chateau is really big. And around it, there's no fog, but only sunshine. One would think that's not something that could go unnoticed. Can't say I have seen a water-loving Lucain around either. We do have a few Lucain visiting or living with us, but none of them is named Hakei. I can ask around if someone knows him, though." Rosy looked around, but couldn't really spot anything either. But instead, the ground became softer. "It's getting a bit muddy. Maybe there's water nearby. Should we continue going into this direction and check it out - and risk stumbling into another pond - or try to get back to dry ground?"

"Oh, that is true," Cat admitted, having essentially forgotten that the mask wasn't really a part of the Fellox's face, "but then, Palowockees have masks too, and I can smell things better than a human does. At least, I think so... but it doesn't really matter that much, like I said." She smiled, although Rosy wouldn't be able to see it. "And you're right; a place like that would definitely be strange in that forest. Certainly if any of our residents had seen it, they'd mention it. So you must live much deeper in than Hakei's lake." When Rosy pointed out that the ground was getting soggier, Cat sighed a little and tried looking around again. She'd rather not have to deal with another pond, and she was sure Rosy didn't want to go swimming again, either. "Well... do you think you could try skirting around the muddy ground? Maybe there's someplace drier... I'm really having trouble seeing through all the tall grass, so I don't know what direction we should go in..."

[Shieba]

"Hm, well, maybe I just have never tried smelling things. I usually concentrate on my hearing or, since Dad trained me so much, try to sense auras and stuff. I think humans mostly use smelling for food and since Felloxes don't eat food, I'd guess we probably don't care about smelling things." Really, Cat made her think about things she had never considered before. "And yes, I suppose that'll be the case. The Chateau is really deep in the forest. Lost people Grandma guided to the Chateau often say they've been in the forest for a few days."

Rosy was glad that Cat didn't want to stumble into another pond. "I agree with you there..." She changed directions a bit. After a bit of searching, she was back on drier ground. "Okay, it's getting better here, but now there are more rocks about." She carefully walked on, not wanting to hit her paws against stone. Then, she suddenly stopped and turned around. "Hey...are these grey eggs there or just two rocks looking totally like eggs?"

[Kodai]

"Hm, I never thought about it that way," the girl replied, thoughtful. "That is true, isn't it, that Felloxes don't eat... We don't have a real Fellox at the House, you see, so I don't really know. There is that one fellow, but he just looks a little like a Fellox; he isn't a real one." She smiled again. "I'm glad I got to meet you – I'm learning all sorts of things! And you're a very nice person, too, so it's even better!"

When Rosy pointed out the possible eggs, Cat quickly hopped off, saying, "I'll go check them!" Picking them up, she turned them over in her hands. "Hmm... I think they are eggs, actually! Although they are a little bigger than the other eggs. Maybe that's to help disguise them, though." Placing them in one of her apron pockets, she looked over at Rosy. "Do you think we should stay here for a little bit and look around some more? All these rocks mean that there could be a lot more hiding places."

[Shieba]

"A Fellox that looks like a Fellox? but isn't one?" Rosy tilted her head. "That's pretty strange. So he's using it as a disguise? Let's hope he doesn't stumble upon the Chateau then; Grandma wants to adopt every Fellox she finds." Rosy laughed. "I'm probably learning more from you than you from me. And I really like you as well! It's great I made a new friend just by participating here!"

"Awesome! Our first eggs of this hunt!" Rosy looked around. "I agree, there could be more eggs here. Let's check the area. Maybe it's better if you stay down here for a bit? You could help searching better this way and I have no way of checking maybe-disguised eggs." There were rocks in all directions between the grass. "I wonder if all these rocks were placed here on purpose? Seems a bit odd to have so many all of sudden here."

[Kodai]

"Well, it's more that... I think the story is that he's a demon prince from somewhere else and ended up here one day. His demon form looks a lot like a Fellox, but you can tell he's not, if you see him. He only has one tail, for instance." She shrugged, but smiled when Rosy called her a friend. "I completely agree! I'm glad I was sent outside to play now. I should do this more often!"

Agreeing with Rosy's idea that she should stay down for now, Cat walked about, turning over smaller rocks and looking around bigger ones. "Hmm, it is a little weird. If they were all smaller, I might suggest that they were going to be used for paving a path or something at one point, but these don't look like those sort of stones at all. Maybe they really were placed here just for the hunt..." Just then, she found a deep crack in a particularly large rock. "Oh, I wonder if there's any eggs in there? ...I don't think it'd be a good idea to just put my hand in there, though...there could be spiders, or maybe even a snake..."

[Shieba]

"A demon? That doesn't sound very nice. Hm, a few of our Felloxes are demonic creatures as well, but they all have two tails. Strange. But if he's from somewhere else, that probably explains it. Though it's weird, isn't it? Grandma and her children are from somewhere else as well and are, well, Felloxes. Makes me wonder how many different worlds know Felloxes..." Rosy flapped her wings. "I normally don't come here either, but I'm so glad I did! I'm really having much fun with you!"

Rosy walked up to the rock Cat had found. "Hm, it's too dark to see anything. But yes, it's the perfect place for spiders..." She sighed. Well, she had done it before, so... "Want me to use my powers to cleave that rock in half? I could chop the upper half off, then we could look inside better and it hopefully leave any eggs intact."
