The young Taigra bounded into Terrace Park, laughing excitedly. This was going to be one fun adventure, or so he hoped. Souretsu was always up for new adventures, and enjoyed exciting things. This egg hunt seemed like it would provide just that. "This is gonna be so much fun!" The young Taigra thought as he bounded along, excitement clearly evident in his features. Slowing into a prance, Souretsu approached a tree, coming to a fancy kind of stop, tail whipping in excitement. He was supposed to have a partner in this event, and he hoped they would show up soon. Ears pricked forward as Souretsu took a moment to survey the area, searching for any signs of others. So far, nothing. With a shrug, the young brute stretched up onto the trunk of the tree with his front paws, arching his back inward and clawing the tree as cats do, sharpening his claws. The Taigra normally did this when he was about to begin an adventure. Once all stretched and claws sharpened, Sourtesu sat down, curling his tail slightly around him, which swished almost uncontrollably with his anticipation to begin. There was a friendly, small smile upon his features as he glanced around, waiting for the those that where to be his partner.

I didn't know why I had to do this. Atoli had said it was an Easter egg hunt - but what exactly was Easter? And I knew you could eat eggs, so did that mean that we could eat whatever we found? Although, I wasn't really in the mood to eat. I sighed and looked around for my partners, my tail swishing back and forth anxiously. The whole thing was pointless; I was about to give up and go back home when I saw a Taigra sitting alone in a tree.

I padded over to the tree and stared at the creature for a several minutes before saying, "Hey, this Easter egg thing... Are you my partner?" I didn't bother to speak very loud, since I honestly didn't want to end up with some kind of sore throat or anything. The chances of that happening were slim, but still.

Souretsu was so eager to get started on this. It seemed like bounds of fun and adventure, he could hardly contain himself. Sitting still was hard enough as it was! He just wanted to make a break for it and start searching for as many eggs as he could find. Souretsu was almost ready to give up on his partners and go on his own, when he heard a voice. "Hey, this Easter egg thing... Are you my partner?" Ears pricked to the words, and the young Taigra looked to see a Kuhna who had spoke the words, and a friendly and warm smile appeared across his features. Souretsu leaped to all fours and walked closer to the fae, tail swishing in excitement. "Hey! Sure enough, I am." Souretsu beamed with a toothy grin. He nearly leaped away with excitement, ready to get started but remembered his manners and decided to introduce himself first. "The name's Souretsu. I'll be your Easter egg hunting partner for today." Perhaps Souretsu was being a bit more friendly than usual, but his excitement for this event was bubbling over too much for him to contain, and he couldn't help but chuckle a little with the excitement and fun he anticipated.

What a weird kid, really. No matter how I looked at it, I couldn't quite understand what all of the hype about this egg hunt thing was about. "Its nice to meet you. My name is Nina," I mumbled, poking the grass beneath my feet. "Well, lets get started, right?" I said, starting to walk past him. Eggs were white oval shaped objects, right? I had to keep my eyes peeled for them for sure.

Looking around, the two Sugar Kuhna twins had grins going from one ear to the other.  They were both shifting their weight, trying their hardest to stay calm.  Of course, considering the fact that they were still hyped up on Easter candy, and Coco, their older brother, wasn't here to keep them under control, they weren't doing their best.  Finally, they spotted a Taigra that seemed to be looking for someone as well, and they both agreed that it was probably the person they were looking for.  Of course, as they neared him, another person came over.  "Hey, Jenny, do you think that he's already got a partner?"  "Nah, I think we just get to be in a big group.  Come on, it'll be fun!"  Once again in agreement, the two padded over, and Jenny spoke up.  "Hey, are you both supposed to be our partners?  We were invited to come and try this hunt-" "-but we got so excited and ran out before we were told who exactly we were supposed to be meeting in the first place..." Benny finished.  Grinning, the twins were shifting their weight from one foot to the other, trying not to get to excited.

I quickly turned around, hearing the two voices. Others that were supposed to pair up with us, maybe? I padded over to the two kuhnas, looking at them. Although they were both of the same species, it seemed that maybe they were twins? I mean, they looked almost identical. "Um... I guess we are. But even if we're not, whatever. The more the merrier, I think it goes, right?" I said, sitting down and licking my paw. "By the way, my name is Nina. What's your names?"

"Its nice to meet you. My name is Nina. Souretsu blinked, smiling still kindly. She seemed to have mumbled her name though. The young Taigra tilted his head as she looked at something at her feet, his gaze following hers. He opened his mouth to speak, but she took the words right out of his mouth. "Well, lets get started, right?" "Righteo!" Souretsu replied with a grin, leaping away with excitement. Adventure was certainly his drug. He followed along beside the fae, until he heard the voices of another, causing him to halt quickly, turning to look to them. "Hey, are you both supposed to be our partners?  We were invited to come and try this hunt-" "but we got so excited and ran out before we were told who exactly we were supposed to be meeting in the first place..." Smiling broadly and friendly, Souretsu nodded his to them saying, "Yep, we're all partners! We have a big group together now, we're sure to find some eggs! Eh, but before we get going, what do you two call yourselves?" He finished with a smile, trying to be patient as well as friendly, however realized that Nina had asked the same thing, and grinned sheepishly.



((EDIT;; I think we can just keep posting as we get to it o3o I know we all can't be on all the time, but I think the eggs are pretty evenly split or something like that, so the more posts we get, the more eggs we all get. :3 In my opinion: just keep posting xD))

Benny giggled at the two newcomers habit of asking the same thing twice, while letting Jenny actually answer the two.  "I'm Jenny, and he's my twin Benny.  We have an older brother named Coco, but we ditched him somewhere, since he's always so boring..."  Looking around, she wondered what he'd been doing since they'd separated, since that had been some time ago.  "Anyway, we're ready and rearing to go, but I dunno where we should look.  This place is more like a jungle compared to the regular part of the park, so maybe they even hid some in the taller grass-" "Or up in trees, down in Cuniflare holes-" "-there's just so many places!  We have to get going!"  Grinning ear to ear once more, they scanned the area while waiting for the other's replies.

Souretsu tilted his head as one of the two introduced themselves. It was then he realized that it looked as though he was seeing double! The two looked just alike! The young Taigra realized that he must have been extremely excited about this hunt to be so ready to go that he hadn't even noticed the two, Jenny and Benny, were twins! Souretsu nearly laughed at this thought, but instead he grinned, and nodded his head in greeting, saying, "Well, it's nice to meet you both." Quickly, leaping away with his seemingly endless supply of energy, Souretsu halted himself and looked back saying, "I'm ready to get going, too! C'mon guys! Let's go find those eggs!" Long tail swishing with excitement, Souretsu bounded onward, looking over his shoulder, and not paying attention to what lie ahead, to make sure they were all together and out ready to search. He was heading straight for a large, thick bush that seemed to be a good hiding place for... well, much of anything, really.

"Hey, wait up!" Benny called out as he to lept forward.  Hunching down, Jenny sprang up as well, and caught up with the Taigra almost immediately.  "Hey, we never did get your name, just Nina's." she said as they ran toward the bush.  Suddenly, it seemed that she was right in front of it, and her claws dug into the ground, but she still managed to slide into the bush.  "Youch!" she said, trying to get out.  Of course, it seemed that there were multiple thorns stuck in her pelt, as well as others that were simply stopping her from moving.  "Hey, Benny, can you help me out here?" she called to her approaching brother.  "Yeah, no problem!" he called back.  Of course, once he got closer, he saw that it might actually be a problem. "Um, well, I don't actually know how to get ya out of this one sis..."

"His name is Souretsu," I said calmly, looking back at the two twins as we both continued to walk. I glanced back when I heard Jenny yell out. Benny was already coming over to her side, but I decided to as well. I mean, you could never get too much help, could you? The only thing was... I didn't know what exactly was wrong with her. "I'm guessing you're not okay, are you?" I said, glancing at both her and Benny.But geez, those thorns sure looked painful.

The young, excited Taigra was about to answer, realizing he really hadn't introduced himself to them, when Nina told them his name for him. Souretsu smiled kindly nodding his head that it was true. Before he had much of a chance to do anything else though, he realized the bush was just ahead, and came to an impressively agile stop. Jenny, on the other hand, was not so lucky. Souretsu cringed as she tumbled into the bush, and immediately, his protective and concerning nature took hold. The young Taigra stepped up next to Benny, looking at the thorns that had collected in Jenny. "Augh... That's not good. Anything I can do to help? We might need to move you out of there real slowly..." Souretsu offered his help, as well as his suggestion, a sudden change in atmosphere about him. The young one could remember quite well what happened to him when he did get too eager, and that had done well to teach him a lesson.

"See? This is why we shouldn't get too excited." I laid down, looking at the trio. "I doubt there's anything I can do, but if I can, let me know," I said, yawning. I just wanted to get the girl out of the bush so we could keep hunting for eggs. And then the sooner we found eggs, the sooner I could leave. And trust me, all I really wanted to do was go home.

Jenny sat there while the other three thought of any options, trying to ignore the growing pain of the thorns in her pelt.  "Hey, how about two of us try and keep the thorns out of the way while another pulls her out?" Benny asked, hoping that his sister wasn't in to much pain.  Of course, it certainly did look like it hurt enough, and that caused a spark of panic.  "So what do you think?" he asked, a bit of worry beginning to show on his face.

I looked over at Benny, nodding slightly. "Sounds like a good idea. I have a human form, so it might be best for me to pull her out," I said, shrugging. I mean, at least this way, no one would be like, biting her tail to try to pull her out or anything. But either way, it probably wouldn't end without at least one other person getting hurt. I mean, with Benny and Souretsu keeping the thorns out of the way, they could get hurt themselves.

{{Ehhh, I'm not as worried about the post length - I mean, it is a timed event, so the way I look at it, as long as we have our five sentences. :3 And Rebel, if I get Souretsu's name wrong a couple time, don't be surprised. Its just one of the names my fingers refuse to spell. e.e}}
