[Elektra]

(Okay, this is to familiarize myself with both of these guy's characters a bit more, and to earn some money, so these won't be perfect posts...)










"Hey, come on Aunty Oro!" Spear called out, bouncing around and around on the gravel path.  "Ugh.  Spear, I don't want to hurry up.  I don't even want to be here...  But the court says I have to take you out, so just go play or something..." the Sulkuhna replied, annoyed with her niece's constant, outgoing energy.  Ever since she was given custody of the little Spearmint Kuhna until her mother, Erica, got out of jail once more, she'd seemed to be more tired than ever before.  With having to cook more meals, go out more often, it was such a change.  Normally, she'd stock up on two minute microwave meals, and listen to heavy metal all day, but Spear demanded that they go and do things.  And there they were, entering Terrace Park once more.  "What a drag..."

"Why do you always say that?  You've got such fun jobs back at the Drains, and Elektra always looks to you for things that she doesn't let others do, but you still say it's boring.  That's just silly you know." Spear said, sounding somewhat mature.  Of course, that maturity vanished in a second as she spotted an icecream vendor, and ran toward him.  "Spear!  Ugh.  I don't have that much money!" she called, shaking her head.  But the little Kuhna was already at the cart, her front paws up on it, while she looked over it at the flavors.  "Okay...  I'll take two scoops of mint, one scoop of bubblegum, and one scoop of sweetcream please.  And in a cone, of course." she said, smiling.  The man gave her an odd look, but started trying to get those four scoops in the cone without all of them toppling over.

Oro certainly wasn't in a big hurry, but something told her that she should've been.  That odd feeling was confirmed when the vendor handed her the receipt with her grand total on it.  "Twenty-five keystones?!  What on Evelon did you buy?" she exclaimed, turning to Spear. "Huh?" the little Spearmint Kuhna asked, taking the cone from the man and then looking back at her aunt.  Oro let out quite the sigh, and started to walk away from the icecream cart.  Spear followed, and they managed to find an unoccupied bench under the shade of a few trees.  She began licking the icecream, and by the time she'd finished the thing - and in under two minutes - it was all over her face and hands.  "Can't you eat with a bit of dignity?" Oro asked, a small, rare smile creeping up onto her face.  "Nope." Spear replied, grinning from ear to ear.  "Figures..." she said, going back over to the vendor.  "Hey, you got any napkins?" she asked him.  He nodded and handed her a nice pile of them, and Oro figured it was probably best to keep a few with her.  This was gonna be a long day...

Spear squirmed about as Oro attempted to clean her face off, and in the end, the two settled for the little Spearmint Kuhna to clean herself off.  Of course, that simply resulted in a bunch of shredded napkins, but by then, she'd already licked most of it off. "You really need to learn to eat more...  Neatly.  I mean, a four year old could eat better than you do..." Oro said, picking up the napkins and walking over to the trashcan.  "Yeah, well, um...  I guess you should go get a four year old kit!" Spear said, not sure what to say.  Oro simply rolled her eyes in reply, and, with one swift movement, bit off the remaining scoop of her icecream.  "Hey!  That was mine!" she said, clearly annoyed.  "Yeah, well, it was my money.  And you were taking way to long hun.  We should go do something, not sit around." "Oh fine.."
