Metha's Trick or Treat
"Happy, happy Halloween!~"
In the name of the spooky season, the living palace and palace grounds within which Metha lived were entirely redecorated. Although the white and black checkered pathway leading up to the palace doors remained the same, albeit covered in suspicious red splatters, nothing else did.
No matter the time of day or night, or even the weather outside, once stepping through the gate of the grounds, it was as if stepping into a whole new world. The sky was entirely painted in shades of purple and pink, with an array of clouds that seemed to glitter and sparkle, some of which even touched down as fog. It was a little cool outside, but not so much that it was cold, and there was a glowing, crescent shaped moon and stars, but no suns.
There were many gnarled trees bearing few leaves, colorful pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns sitting alone or in stacks, eyes shining from the curiously shaped bushes, odd statues, headstones, and lanterns and lights. There was even a strange center fountain, but the water was an eerie, toxic green. There were many, many skeletal creatures from cats and rats to dragons and pegasi, and it was, admittedly, difficult to tell if they were alive or not, as they did not sit still for long. Some would attempt to jump scare guests by moving suddenly, while others roamed peacefully, or hardly did anything but moving their heads to watch and stare with their empty eye sockets.
While the setting was a little uncomfortable, perhaps, it was not too terribly scary, which was what she had intended. It was fun, and could be fun for anyone. If one wanted to truly be scared, they would have to step inside the palace, where some public rooms had a much more terrifying sort of theme. One even had a warning. It would produce what one may be most afraid of, or at least a scenario they would find truly terrifying, so it was not for the faint of heart. Guests were welcome to explore the transformed haunted palace to their hearts content, or simply trick or treat at the entrance.
Rules and Information
+ For every day from the 27th of October through the 5th of November (Evelon calendar days), users may post here to trick or treat for each day that they post. If you miss a day, sorry, you miss out on the potential prize for that day.
+ Posts for one day may be made up to 11:59 PM (23:59) EST. If it is made after that, it counts for the following day, if a potential prize is to be awarded that day.
+ Posts MUST be roleplayed here and, since this is a minor event, there is a 75 word count minimum for each post. If you don't meet the minimum, sorry, your post wont be counted for that day.
+ For each sucessful post, we will roll for users to either get a Trick, which is to be awarded nothing, or a Treat, which is a prize! There is a 50/50 chance for Treats and Tricks. Prizes vary from KS, pets, and appropriate holiday items, but there is a small chance for each user to roll a Good Treat, which is a random, custom breedable pet (limited to Lucain, Paragon, or Soveris), that will most likely be fall or spooky themed in some way. (Each user may only win one.)
+ The more you post, the better your chances! Each post grants a user a roll. They either get a Trick, a Treat, or a Good Treat. However, to give users a better chance at Treats and reward you for posting more, each post a user makes, they earn a reroll for future posts. This reroll does not grant extra prizes, but awards the user the best of their rolls for that day. (For example, you post on day 1, you get a Treat. You post on day 2, but roll for a Trick. However, you have a reroll from posting the previous day. The reroll grants a Treat. The user wins a Treat for day 2, because a Treat is better than a Trick.)
+ The prizes may be rolled or delivered during the event, but will primarily be delivered once the event is over.

Ichabod craned his head to see over the fog that was swirling around him. There were - people wasn't the right word, somehow, as they seemed to be in disguise. 
A few metres behind the Tundragoon, calmly stood a vulpine creature, making their way towards Jace.
