Chesire (Occasionally 'Puss') Male

This poor critter has gone quite mad, and seems to think everyone around him is mad too. After reading a certain Lewis Carroll book, he had a dream which led him to believe he is the Chesire Cat. He enjoys speaking in riddles and confusing those around him. It has even been discovered that he can 'disappear' like a Chesire Cat, although this is due to his chameleon ability to blend with his surroundings

Jewel Yonyuu

Iboni (Egyptian name meaning 'ebony') Female

She is an Egyptian Princess who has been reincarnated. Once destined to be one of the finest rulers of Ancient Egypt, she was brutally murdered before her time.. She still acts with the airs and graces of a Queen, but she is good-hearted and her true nature will shine through

Chesire sat in the tree, grinning. He seemed to do that a lot, and it was almost certain it was one of his favourite activities. Iboni sighed before turning away from him, placing one paw inside the small basket she was carrying.
"Bread Loaf-check. Small snack-check. Medication-" She gazed up at Chesire who was humming quietly to himself, "Unfortunately, no." Feeling slightly nervous, Iboni sat down beneath the tree and licked her fur thoughtfully. They had been given an important task to do-her owner was determined to continue her search for a Mr. Wilson, and so they had been sent to try and find one. Why Chesire had been chosen to go, she'd never know. All she hoped was he'd keep quietly out of the way if a Mr.Wilson did show up

Onyx, Revelate Kuhna-----Verno, Darkflame Kuhna

Well, now... this wasn't an odd place to find two kits without any adult Kuhna escorts.  It was a park, for Zu'hai's sakes... completely harmless to the Revelate and Darkflame brothers that were walking along now.

Iounia, Borealis Kuhna

However, they were not alone.  Following a safe distance behind them was a Borealis Kuhna, who would occasionally call out, "Now, now, dears; don't wander too far ahead!  I know you might not be like normal"--she used the word "normal" sparingly--"kits, but I'm still in charge of you while we're out!" She said.  Neither Revelate nor Darkflame seemed to hear her.

"I don't see why you always have to steal things, Onyx.  Dad at least tried to come clean... except for that amulet he stole and the people tried to get him for when he was with Mom." The little ginger Darkflame kit said, rolling his eyes as he looked at the Revelate's latest treasure; Lady Fire's amethyst pendant.  "And, of all things, you steal from Lady Fire...!"

"Oh do shut it now, Ver.  It's not like it's worth a million KS.  Lady Fire would rather have a million KS then this pendant right now, I can assure you.  Did you not see her eyes when she saw the Kuhna and Lucain up for auction?  The only reason you now live with us is because Lady Fire gave most of her miniscule 'fortune' to Lady Krypto." Th Revelate said, catching sight of the Kamee and the Yonyuu.

Iboni's ears pricked as she heard the sound of approaching voices. They swiveled round to listen, intrigued by the mention of ladies and fortune. Despite not having been a princess for a good 6 centuries or so, she was still attracted to any mention of wealth. Chesire too swung down from the branch, hanging on by his tail to watch the new comers.
"Nice day!" Iboni called out, not intimidated by the thought of meeting new people. She stood up and moved closer to the trio

Iounia was the first one to respond.  "Good day to you, madam.  What brings you out to terrace?  Hopes of catching an illusive Mr. Wilson, I assume?" She asked.  She herself was intrigued by the little birds, even if her humanoid was not.  Onyx looked up at the Yonyuu; if only she had been a humanoid, she might have had some important possessions on her person.  Verno could see what the Revelate was plotting and offered his brother a whack on the head, as if to say, Don't even think about it.

Looking up at the Yonyuu, Verno smiled.  "I am Verno, and this is my brother, Onyx." He said, pointing to the dusky kit, who bowed.  "And I," the Borealis started to say, "am Iounia.  'Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintence, Miss...?"

"Iboni," She smiled, bowing her head, "And that's Chesire," She pointed towards the Kamee who was still grinning, "You're right about the Mr.Wilson. I'm guessing you're looking for one too?" Chesire unwound himself from the branch and climbed down. He flicked his tongue out in greeting before gazing curiously at the two kits.
"I'm afraid he's..." How to put it?, "Mad." She finished, blushing slightly

Iounia smiled.  "Iboni... that is a beautiful name." She said, looking over at the Kamee and the two kits.  "I am searching for a Mr. Wilson.  My trainer... does not particularly care for them.  She prefers the Hunters and Mekkayanas--actually, just any feline and canine-like creatures are generally loved by her." She said, chuckling.  Onyx and Verno turned to face the Kamee.

"Hello..." Onyx started to say, his ears perked curiously as he settled his dual wings.  verno shook his head before saying, "Cheshire, is it...?  Pleased to have made your acquaintence." He said before pouncing on his brother and wrestling the amulet from him.  Trotting over to Iounia despite Onyx's cries of "Bring it back!", Verno handed the amulet to her.  "Keep this from my brother... and we'd be wise to have Lady Fire seal it away somewhere safe." He said.  The Borealis chuckled before glaring at the Revelate.  "Up to our antics again, are we?"

"Thank you," She smiled at the compliment then glanced curiously at the amulet, "That certainly is beautiful. Where did you get it?" The amulet reminded her of her own precious jewels she used to own. She had once had a gorgeous gold amulet herself, inscribed with delicate hieroglyphics and encrusted with many rare and valuable jewels. She'd tried to find it once, looking it up in a library. Turns out her uncle had melted the gold and sold the jewels off separately.
Chesire smiled at the little kit before asking,
"Are you going to the tea party?" He certainly didn't sound mad, despite the question being a little odd

Iounia glared over at the Revelate.  "It is a treasure that our Lady Fire has been searching for desperately.  I might have suspected that Onyx would take it.  He is quite the little pickpocket, just like his father." She said, giving the Revelate a condemning look.

Verno tilted his head.  "Tea party?  Aunt Iounia said we're out here to look for a Mr. Wilson... but I don't see why a tea party couldn't be included." He said.  Onyx glared right back at "Aunt" Iounia before saying, "If there's going to be a tea party, count me in." He said, his eyes glinting.

"Just keep the china from him..." Iounia and Verno said in unison.

Iboni grinned
"A thief already eh? My nephew used to steal things too. I taught him a lesson one day by hiding a spider in my jewelery box. Nearly scared him to death." That was another person she'd missed. Still, he had become pharaoh after her uncle had died so at least he had been happy. She frowned as she turned her attention to Chesire and the kits.
"Look, you've gotten them all excited now! You know perfectly well we don't have any tea," She scowled at Chesire, but he didn't seem to take much notice. Sighing, she turned to the kits, "I think we have some crisps and cakes though. Would you like any of them instead?"

Verno turned back to Iboni.  "Those sound delicious.  I myself am actually not one for tea..." He said.  Iounia chuckled as she gently patted ht little Darkflame's head.  "A spider, you say?  Well, I know Onyx dislikes spiders, but Lady Fire is mortally terrified of them." She said.

The little Revelate sighed when he found out there was no tea party.  Even if there was, the Revelate would have been under tight watch from Iounia and Verno.  He was not about to have that ruin his day, not a chance.  Looking around, he said, "Cake sounds good... yes, it does..."

Iounia instantly knew that meant she'd have to keep an eye on him.  He was prone to sugar highs like one wouldn't believe...

Nodding, Iboni trotted over to the basket and lifted the lid.
"What kind would you like? Let's see, we have eccles cakes, bakewell tarts, doughnuts..." As her voice trailed off Chesire got up onto his feet and slowly began to vanish, starting with his tail and ending with his grin, until he had completelyvanished...
"I wish he wouldn't do that." Sighed Iboni as she emerged from the basket with a mouthful of plates (protected with clingfilm of course)

Iounia's ears were curiously perked as she looked at the now vanished Kamee.  "...is he convinced that he is the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland?" She asked, eying the spot he had just been earlier.  The kits stared in shock, but at the mention of the different types of food, both the Darkflame and the Revelate materialized in front of the basket.  Verno eyed the treats carefully before he spoke.

"I'd like a bakewell tart, please." He said politely.  Onyx had his eyes glued to the eccles cakes, and after a while, Iounia smacked him before saying, "I guess we'll have the little cakes."

"Here you go," She passed out the cakes before taking out a strawberry tart for herself. Strawberries had been a personal favourite of hers since she'd moved to the 21st century. She glanced up at the Kuhna's question, "Yes. He was perfectly normal one day. Then his head started to go a bit funny. He read Alice in Wonderland and so ended any normality he had left," She sighed-the story always did make her feel sad, "He's 100% mad."
Suddenly Chesire materialized by the basket, flipping open the lid and taking out what looked like some form of banana cake. His long tongue peeked out and he began licking the icing off, very messily
"We're all mad here." He laughed

The three Kuhnas stared at the Kamee in shock, their eyes widening.  Iounia was the first to speak.  "I see..." She said, her voice heavy with thought.  Verno and Onyx chuckled to themselves, but they did not speak a word to the Kamee or the Yonyuu.  Iounia shook her head before saying, "Thank you for the treats... since my little charges here cannot seem to remember their manners..."

Verno looked up, embarrassed.  "Yes... thank you." He said, his ginger skin blushing with pure embarrassment.  Onyx could have cared less whether or not he thanked the Yonyuu.  It was basically free food.

"You're welcome. I have some more cake if you're hungry later, and a loaf of bread in case any Mr. Wilsons show up," She smiled politely back, although she frowned slightly at the darker kit. She wouldn't be so rude as to say anything, but she did consider manners to be quite important, "Oh, and I'm sorry about him. So are you three related or are you just babysitting?" She had finished her strawberries now and began to daintily lick the jam and cream part out-which was more than could be said for the Kamee. He was still licking away and his tongue seemed to flashing different colours as he did so, changing from orange to green to blue to pink, even vanishing completely sometimes
