Lalit and Dals emered from the forest next to the park. They had spent their whole day looking for a Mr. Wilson, with no luck.
"Dals, do you wanna stick around or go straight home?"
Dals tilted his head. He couldn't speak English, but he was practicing. His intangible squawks had begun to sound more human recently. He uttered a high-pitched sound, half between a growl and a purr.
"Why do you wanna stay here?"
He motioned to a group of animals on the other side of the park. They seemed to be sharing a cake.
"Oh. Well, let's go."

The Yonyuu raised her head, noticing two pets wandering fairly near by. She struggled for a moment, trying to decide whether or not she should invite them to join her. Examining her basket, she decided she might as well. They had plenty of extra food and she was determined to be civil.
"Excuse me!" She called out, "Sorry to bother you but would you like to join us? There's plenty of room."
"No room, no room!" The Kamee called out, having finished his cake and obviously feeling a little bored. Iboni rolled her eyes.
"The Chesire Cat doesn't even say that line." She sighed, before finishing off the last of her strawberry tart
