The Teigu had finally managed to get some alone time- which was a blessing, as she was usually helping take care of the other pets at home. Of course, Pima had never thought of Bastet as a pet; she treated the Teigu more like a sister than anything. And so, Bastet, as was her namesake, was walking along in Terrace Park, searching for something to do. She flicked a red and white ear, gold eyes glowing in the afternoon light.
"Hmm..." She spotted a few Mr. Wilsons in a tree overhead, but they flew away noisily at her appearence, taking her for a large striped cat. No one could blame them- Bastet had been named for her almost tiger-like appearence and walk, her long tail streaming out behind her.

She padded along, beatiful white and red pelt dappled by streams of sunlight through the trees that lined the path through the park. Her tail swished back and forth behind her, her ears flicking with each sound. Bastet wasn't known for her perfect attitude- her personality switched on the flick of a switch, from kind and playful to almost mean and very bossy. Probably one of the reasons she didn't have many friends, other than Pima, Dune, Surface, and Tentan.

She sighed, blinking her golden eyes and looking around. Hopefully, someone she could talk to would appear...

One would notice about now that she had a tattered satchel slung around her shoulders. It hung at her side, and a few things (looking almost like maps) stuck out of the top. It swung by her side as she walked along, smiling sadly. Perhaps, next time, she'd get someone to accompany her. After all, she was the one who'd turned down Tentan's offer to come with her...

Bastet flicked her ears, padding over to a tree. She let her claws slide into the bark and hoistened herself up, climing up the tree with cat-like percision. Finally, she got hold of a tree limb, climing onto it and sitting down precariously. She narrowed her eyes, watching those who came under her like a predatory feline.

The creature stalked out of the bush, bell hanging off of it's mask-like face tinkling lightly. Bastet's ears shot forward, and she turned, leaning down quietly to get a better look. Savage, or Experiment 81, as the Evergreen was called, looked directly back up at her with his cold, unblinking eyes. He clenched his green furry fists, seeming to glare from his pupil-less white eyes. Bastet gulped, twitching her tail. "H-hello?" Savage blinked (or Bastet believed he did, it was hard to tell) and, finally, he waved in greeting. Bastet gaped, feeling a smile grow on her face. "Y-you understand me?" Savage nodded slowly, then faster, with what looked like a smile on his odd face. Bastet, feeling he wouldn't attack (and somewhat jolly, for an unknown reason), jumped out of the tree, landing before the Evergreen. "What's your name?"

Savage jingled his bell, pointing to the numbers on his chest. Just below the large '81' someone had scribbled the words 'Savage: Use Caution'. Bastet frowned, sitting back on her hind legs, and flicking an ear, her fluffy coat puffing out a bit. "You don't seem that bad... Savage?" Savage blinked, and then nodded slowly, jingling his bell with a happy sound. Bastet smiled lightly, giggling with a girlish air. "Alright, Savage. Would you like to come home with me?" Savage seemed to consider it, flicking his tail-which Bastet had just noticed-with another jingle sound. It appeared he had another bell on his tail!

Finally, Savage nodded with a painful slowness, blinking his eyes, the cold wind of winter, making his fur poof out a bit. Bastet grinned, getting on all fours and waving him after her as she padded back towards the house. "Great! The house is this way," she called over her shoulder. Savage followed uneasily, with an odd gait, almost a limp. The two walked towards the house together, and more than once their tails touched.
