[Please read, Gypsy Soul & Seeking Understanding before you reply. Though Masami's history is unfinished it will give you an idea of who she is. And where she's at just now. Also state whether they are friends or enemies.]  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After picking up her Class E, Lucain license, Masami found herself headed toward Terrace Park. Saio & Kasumi on her right & left respectively. She could almost swear they knew her before her amnesia. By the way they would sometimes act. All she knew for certain was her first name. And the name of the man from her memory. Toshiro. Everything else regarding her past was a blank. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She sat on a stone bench beneath a towering oak. Saio began to prowl the park. Kasumi chose instead to lay at Masami's feet. It would be so much easier for Saio & herself if Masami remembered them. The Fellox pair had been with the hime for many years. The way she met each of them unique. "I wish I could remember." Masami whispered. Her tone so lost that the Glacial femme rose. Nuzzling her head in her mistress' lap. Wishing she & Saio could use their telepathy with her. But until Masami remembered or realized she had the gift, it was sadly unwise. "Until I do I will consider this a new beginning." Masami spins, turning her gray-blue gaze to the Cake Kuhna behind her. She is uneasy, which causes Kasumi to whine. Though she sensed no threat from the feline. By now Saio has approached, standing protectively in front of Kasumi & his mistress. "I missed you." the Cake  Kuhna said. "It has been too long since the last time we met." "And all my brothers & sisters miss everything you have done for us." "You have to come with me back to my home!" With an apolgetic look, Masami spoke. "I am sorry, little one. But I do not remember you." she said.

Masami listened as the Kuhna spoke. "Ice storm" triggered a memory. It was shortly after she went to stay with Hisashi... After her mother's death. The pain of that brought Masami to her knees. Though how Moriko was lost to her remained locked in her mind. "My mother..." She was in the mountains with Kasumi when she found Lexi's tribe. Many injured, Others too young for such harsh weather. With Kasumi helping her carry the young ones, Masami led the tribe to a secure network of caves. Starting a fire she treated the wounded with herbs and healing magic. "Lexi!" "You must take me to your master." She gave the Kuhna a fierce hug. "Unless you know who he is..." "Who is Toshiro to me?" she asked. Both Fellox flanked Masami, now. Waiting to see what Lexi would do next.

She should have returned sooner, she saw that now. Though whether it would have made a difference based on current circumstance is iffy. It had been a month since whatever occured stole her memory. Saio & Kasumi had been trailing her since the incident. "Lexi, you must understand this." "I have amnesia, a month ago something happened to me." "I cannot recall what, but it caused this" "I have to put the pieces of my life together." "Other than my name, that name, Toshiro, the names of my parents. And now, you..." "I remember nothing else." "Not even what I am." Masami finished. "So yes lead the way to Basantha." "Perhaps your master can help me." With Saio taking point in front of her & Kasumi beside her, Masami prepared to follow Lexi

Masami fell into step with the Kuhna. Praying that going to Basantha Shrine would trigger more memories. After a while Masami paused. "Lexi, Have I been to Basantha before?" Masami asked. She was desparate to put the pieces together. Only by doing so would she know who threw her world into chaos. She also hoped to find Toshiro. She knew she loved him. But she still could not recall his place in her life. Sensing her distress Saio & Kasumi brushed against her legs. Masami laid her hand on Saio's head. While stroking Kasumi's back.
