Ashela lands Lonarch on a ledge and gets down to eat. She looks around, wondering where they are. Ashela? She feels the words in her head. Yes? She replies. Ashela, someone is approaching. Ashela looks. Indeed somebody was climbing the mountain.

Lonarch let out a low rumbling sound, a warning, but Ashela placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I am Ashela," she said, "An this is Lonarch." The hollowheart stretched his head around the human protectively.

Ashela smiled. "Just exploring," she said.

[Cristaliena]

Ashela nodded, despite Lonarch's untrusting eyes. "No reason why not," she said. "The more the merrier."

Find was glad there were plenty of ridges for her to place her feet on, for if it weren't for them she would've never gotten up here. But, why was she here? A very logical question, which she had no answer to. She never really thought things through; "boss" had let her out, and she decided to come here. She climbed up to a ledge that was just barely large enough for her to fit and took a break. Her head swung this way and that as she took in her surroundings. Indeed, it was very hot, at least, that's what her sensors told her. They didn't always work properly; she had several bugs from time to time.

She stopped moving her head as she caught sight of a hollowheart not too terribly far away. Upon further inspection, she found a temple gyrraptor and what she supposed was a human accompanying the mighty beast. Being the friendly creature she was, she decided to head over. After a bit of work, she was within hearing distance of the trio.

Hello, She called as she slid the rest of the way down, causing a bit of lava to bubble up around her feet upon impact. I'm Find, nice to meet you all! Her voice was friendly, but all-too obviously robotic. It was reminiscent of those annoying voices that one hears from their car's navigational system, but with a higher pitch. Noticing the small amount of lava pooling around her feet, Find relocated herself closer to the others. She looked at them expectantly as she waited for some responses.

Lonarch looked at Find, somewhat confused. Ashela looked over, somewhat startled, but smiled. "Hello," she said. "Why would a creature like you venture so far up a... Volcano?"

[Rabid]

Her processors made loud whirring sounds as that rational question was posed. Why was she here? A volcano, of all places, where she could overheat and have her systems crash. ERROR. HISTORY CORRUPT. Well, there went more data. She couldn't remember why she was here.

DATA UNAVAILABLE. She said stiffly. She shook her head. Er, sorry. I mean, I don't remember. She made a note to have a professional take a look at her. Of course, though she didn't remember, she'd made many of these notes before. She had yet to visit anyone. Maybe she'd be lucky this time, and the data wouldn't get attacked. Not likely; she was highly prone to viruses and such, for whatever reason.

Sun wandered aimlessy over the hot earth, it pleased her to feel the heat from the volcano through her fur. She had no real plans today, it was the first day since she had been traded to her new owner that she hadn't been given a hundred and one tasks to do, she was far too friendly and helpful for her own good sometimes.

She hadn't really noticed the other creatures who were a little distance off to her right, she was too busy thinking about how much her life had changed over the past few days, and trying to decide what she would do with her first 'day off' as it were. The Lucain continued to amble at a sedate pace, the volcano had sounded so enticing to her, the heat and the solitude (although she really enjoyed company, she had felt rushed off her feet recently) were just what she needed. Her new home was, as far as she was concerned, a cold place, too green for her liking and the cold wet river that ran through it 'eugh'!

Although she had looked forward to some time alone she was starting to feel lonely already, and she just couldn't think of anything to do; which was just typical.

Sun was startled out of her contemplation by an odd feathered creature asking her if she would like to join them... them? she suddenly spotted two other creatures and a human standing nearby, she shook her head to try and straighten her mind and bring herself back to the present.

The other creatures were a Hollowheart and a Staigovald, the Human was standing nearest the Hollowheart so she assumed that they must be together. The feathery thing that had spoken to her though was a bit of a mystery to her, she had never seen a creature like it before, but didn't want to seem rude by asking what exactly he was, she was also curious as to why such a heavily feathered creature would be up a volcano? He must be boiling!

She smiled slightly nervously as the odd group and nodded eagerly to the feathery one, "I'd love to!" She said, "My name is Asahi, but I usually get called Sun." she explained.

While she waited for the others to introduce themselves, her expression turned to worry as she looked again at the Staigovald, "Are you okay? Some of your circuits seem to be .. uh .. smoking!".

[Rabid]

Find looked in the direction of the newcomer; a lucain, her scanners told her, among other things such as markings, colors, etc. She was about to reply with her name, when Sun pointed out something very very important. Circuits? Smoking? Not a good combo. She panicked as best as she could, but didn't have much experience in such things and failed miserably. She activated a systems check. Everything certainly seemed to be in order, when she noticed something flashing.

Oh. She said as realization dawned upon her. She gave a mechanical chuckle. That's nothing to worry about; just some exhaust. It'll stop soon enough. I'm Find, by the way.

Ashela flashed a smile at the Lucian. "Hello," she said. "My name is Ashela, and this is Lonarch."

Sun sighed with relief, she had been so worried that the Staigovald was going to explode on them or something, she smiled at the others pleased to have found some nice pets (and Human) to spend her day off with.

"And your name is?" she asked the feathery creature. She was quite intrigued by him, her new owner didn't have any feathered pets and she hadn't really mingled with anything other than Lucain before.

Sun wondered what this odd group were planning on doing up the volcano, personally she was just looking forward to a nice walk in the heat, but she decided she would wait until she knew all their names before asking (she didn't want to seem like she was rude or wasn't interested), besides they might tell her their plans without prompting.

Find noticed the exhaust attacking Rune's face - and his unfortunate handkerchief. She frowned as best as she could, but her face wasn't all that flexible and it could only be seen if one looked very, very closely... At her 'mind'.

Ooh! I'm sorry! Find said, vocal track playing in a slightly higher pitch due to her 'anxiety'. Her tail lashed in a very small area, her most unfortunate - and dangerous - nervous habit. She was going to have to leave soon, which made her 'sad'. She couldn't get much solar power thanks to all the smoke from the volcano, and it was getting pretty hot. Her cooling system was in overdrive, and her fans were whirring loudly. It wasn't deafening, but it was definitely noticeable. Now, the question reared its ugly head once more. Why, of all places, had she chosen to come here?

Sun smiled politely at Rune, "Maybe we should find somewhere a little more cool to explore?"She suggested, though she didn't really like the idea of leaving the lovely hot volcano, the fact that she had some new friends to spend her day with made up for it. And she couldn't stand to see them in such discomfort, between the sweat dripping off Rune's beak and the black exhaust billowing out of Find, she could tell they weren't really enjoying being here.

"What brought you guys up a volcano anyway?" She asked.

[Rabid]

Pfft, no. x3 I'm not easily insulted. I just realized how crazy it was to bring her up here. xD She has enough issues as is~ If you weren't talking to me, just ignore this. >-> I'm tired, so... Yeah. xD

Find was glad the gyrraptor wasn't upset with her, and prepared to point this out to him. Just as she opened her mouth to speak, her sensors indicated that something was pawing at her leg. She looked down to see a kuhna, who gave her a nervous smile. He stood and backed away a few steps, his ears never leaving their squashed position on his head.

Misses says you're supposed to stay here. He mewed, tails twitching nervously. Find frowned.

Right now? She asked, her eyes indicating that she was sad.

No. The kuhna said, his head bobbing up and down in a nod. With a dejected sigh, Find turned to her company.

I'm afraid I must go, She said, Perhaps we'll meet again somewhere with a lower temperature reading. She gave a robotic chuckle and left. The kuhna stayed, but decided to take a seat. He had been told to stay out of the house for a bit. But, being the oddball that he was, didn't have anyone to visit, nor did he have anything to do. Solution? Stay there until enough time had passed. Of course, he could always ignore her, but she'd be most upset with him. That would be very, very bad. So, he chose to stay here, despite the heat.
