"Yea berries, lots of raspberries. Yes I do, but I don't have clothes." Pausing momentarily. "Remember I lived here since I was born. I grew from a tree bud. I am just a unordinary leaf." I reminded. "If we ever get out of here maybe then I will go into human form." I laughed.

I sighed slightly, "Fair enough. But I do agree, you are definitely not normal. I don't know about you, but you are the only animated and talking leaf that I have seen. what is it like? Being a leaf." I mentioned. Life for me has been, well... Difficult to say the least. But to be born from a tree with plenty siblings, that would be an interesting life.

"Not all of us ended up like me. It's very a rare thing. It's not good or bad, but when we are first born we some just decide to leave at my age, rarely did they say. I didn't catch the wind in time of my falling, so I ended up falling to the ground. I don't exactly call them my siblings as I don't really now any of them. We can't exactly fly either, its more like a hover, but if we have wind it sorted helps us fly you know." I explained thoughtfully. "Infact, Piper isn't really my name, I have yet to find a name that fits me." I sighed. "What about you? Do you have any siblings?"

"I have- or rather, had many siblings. I knew them well, and they knew me. That's why I'm alone now. Well that and my father. Anyways, to answer your question, yes I do." I tried to get out of my inner thoughts as quickly as I could. Never really liked remembering. Why the hell was I telling this stranger anyway?
"So, how much farther till we reach this berry bush of yours?" I questioned, changing the topic.

I listened to Klaus, it seemed like there was a hard past for him. At least that's what it felt like, but I didn't push it further, it wasn't my place. Maybe in the future we could be friends and he would trust me enough, but for now, not going to bother to make friends. Might as well just be acquaintances at the moment. After all we just met, you don't just become friends like that normally. Leading Klaus further. "Okay here we are." Leading him to my little hut, it wasn't much but hey it was private enough. "Sorry we had to go back a bit, the berries are at the side of my hut. Just pick what you want." I gestured to Klaus.

The little leaf didn't ask anymore questions on the way and we finally made it to his little home. I looked around the hut and saw the berries he spoke of. "Thanks." I said as I watched the leaf move inside the shelter. I went over to the berry bush and began eating. Unfortunately it was a bit difficult to stop, because the berries tasted so good! I suppose after a month or two of eating worms, anything else would taste good. Finally I got stuffed and went back to the hut. "So what now? Do you still wish to find a way out of the forest?"

"You're welcome" I chirped unwantedly. "Well, yes, I always wanted to travel, I love the forest an all, its amazing, but it would be amazing to finally not be so cold in my human form at night and such, not to mention naked. Even with the privacy of my home." I looked at Klaus desperately. It would be so nice to show someone my actually facial features and such. But what if we couldn't find out way out? What if flying was the only way out of this forest? Worried about what the outcome might be, I quieted.

"Fine. Then lets get moving first thing tomorrow. We'll rest here tonight, grab some berries to go then head out." I stated before exiting the shelter. I needed to go find a bed of my own. I was more comfortable in the trees, so that's where I went. I chose a tree with low branches so that I could climb my way up. Sure it was difficult, especially when you are use to flying, but what else was I to do? The trees were my home.

"Sounds good to me." I replied. Getting settled into my bed covered with leaves. Which is kinda ironic if you ask me, while I am in my Falleef form at least. Nevertheless I was excited for the day to come. Maybe we would finally find ourselves out of the forest. The forest wasn't a problem for me, I would probably come back of course. After all it is my home, but it will be nice to explore.

As I laid in my nest waiting to fall asleep I wondered how long it would take us to find a way out. I did love the forest and all. And the creepy mist was kind of appealing to me. It was honestly the damn food here. I am use to hunting for meat. Other birds or wolf leftovers. You know, the good stuff. Worms and berries were definitely not my meal choice. The only problem about getting out, was that once I was out I would be in the open again. He could find me, and this time he'd probably kill me. Damn, life is ironic. It's either live starving or gorge out but risk not living at all. Oh well, too late to change my mind now. I want out of this place, even if I have to face him again. After all, I have a leaf on my side now. I'm sure he could put up quite teh fight for me, *lol*.

Unable to fall asleep, I couldn't stop thinking about being trapped here, which is sad to say at the least because it is my home. The anticipation of morning finally arriving was overwhelming. I just couldn't wait to get out there and explore, try more foods, meet other and finally see what type of clothing I would like. Seeing new places and forests was a bonus too of course, so many places could offer so many different things and experiences.

Morning broke, the soft light mixed with the fog as the warm air pushed in. 'Better get moving,' I thought as I woke up from a decently good sleep. I stumbled down the tree a little before my body completely woke up. "Rise and shine little leaf." I said as I entered the hut. I relaxed a little while I waited for the leaf to get ready. "So do you have any idea where to begin? Any clue to what direction leads us out?"

Waking up and relieved that I got at least a bit of sleep. Realizing that Klaus was talking to me. "Oh, um, morning." I mused. "I think we should go straight, and the same way you were originally walking. I mean seriously, if we go straight we are technically unlikely to go in a circle. No turns and such would be involved. I mean the forest behind us can't be the forest in front of us too right? Unless its magical and there's only a portal to get out." I said thoughtfully. "I haven't been in and out, but you.." I suggested unfinished. "How did you get in?" I asked.

I laughed slightly at the comment he made, "Perhaps in front really is behind. Hell, I thought I was going strait all this time, but I kept somehow retracing my steps. And as for how I got in, I really don't know. I had crossed a field when I first saw the forest. From the outside it looked bright and fully alive. I started walking into it then no more then a minute later I look back and all I saw was more forest! The field was completely gone. It was like I walked for miles in a single minute!" I explained. Then a sudden thought came into my mind, "Fuck. Maybe it is magical!"

I looked at Klaus forgetting to blink. "Yea, but maybe the only way to know is if we fly over. Then again we could just end up in the clouds.." I chuckled to myself. "It's up to you, what do you think we should do?" I asked. "I am up for anything, but whatever we do I think we should avoid as much turns as possible." I added. "Also, what if we have to think of what we want in order to be where we want?" I question, not just to him but to myself.
